Edit after playing Fallout 1 and loving it: BoS was definitely not the soul of fallout since the first game. They were just a militaristic tech cult. One of the less memorable parts of the game imo

I like how that group of heavily armed bandits who tried to rob that trading post was wiped out by that one ED-E eyebot showed how dangerous those little robots are despite their size. And the fact the guy wearing the NCR ranger armor was nearly killed at the end by that Super Mutant showed that not even he had plot armor. The wasteland is a dangerous place where anyone could die.
i love how this shows the normal life of a person living in the mojave wasteland, i have destroyed so many things in game that didn't even think how they lived

It is well thought out, produced, and acted, but well written? I mean, the dialogue is pretty good but the actual plot is driven by a single “special” bottle cap that has the ability to get everything done but is not elaborated on at all. That’s just poor writing.

Improvisation of one of the sandart profitable plots with decorations like Fallout, after reading a few pages of decription the game universe. Do you really want to see this?

The helmet in this short movie was honestly better than the depictions in the TV series. The evident separation of the helmet and mask just looked odd to me.
I think the reason in the show for that was to show that the armor either wasn't meant for them (Like they scavenged it) or that they haven't done a great job of upkeep hence it not fitting right
That was clearly purposeful. Seeing the absolute attention to detail and accuracy in the rest of costumes in the TV show should be clear that they wouldn't mess up a detail like that.
For those who don't know the cap with a star on it is a sunset sarsaparilla star you need to collect those for a treasure in a side quest for fallout NV
If you give Hollywood the chance to make such a movie, they would screw things up bad. Give this stuff to simple people, they'll do a much better job. Good work guys.
Only certain kinds of stories work as films, because of the time limit. You can't do something episodic or epic in the format. I don't know how much patience movie-goers would have for repeated dungeon crawls and building clearing.

That's a very high-quality fan made movie. I was very impressed with the robot color match. Many fan-made animations don't get color grading right when 3d assets are involved. Hell some of the netflix shows don't get it right.
Eh I guess it's the best they could of done. I can't think if anything besides using special affects other then the costume, and I assume the SA wouldn't work too well.... :D

The reason why the NCR vet armor looked off in the show was because it was probably scavenged and was deteriorating. I doubt the guys wearing it were actual rangers.
Tehief personally, i wouldn't like it because it gets rid of the choices we can make. A show about Fallout 3 might work though, you can only side with the BoS
Honestly, I like the Gecko Backed armor but the Metal One isn't great since it just has bad durability and takes too much to repair all the time. And you can't jury rig it without spending your power armor

In all fairness, the show is set after the NCR was mostly driven out, seems to be the case with their Mojave chapter as well, the shot of the strip at the series' end shows us that it's rather obviously gone to shit after the events of NV, so the armor would probably be rather rare or piecemeal, it's not gonna look as "good" with inexperienced civvies wearing the armour.
Something I just realized about this is when they do the reload scenes they show a python yet the revolver he uses is a somewhere around the lines of a dragoon/texas walker/navy revolver.
It looks like a 1851 colt, but the fact that he asked the securitron for 45-70 rounds means they are trying to infer it is a Ranger Sequoia. Mostly because the styling on the cylinder.
I have to say, this was a very well done show. The set pieces especially looked really good, yall did an amazing job on that. Great plot, good characters, and I think a part two would be well deserved. Anyways keep up the good work!
Judging by his shooting ability I'd say he's put some points into Gunslinger but the lack of damage he was doing to the super mutant I'd say he's neglected Gun Nut and hasn't moddified his revolver and also plays on Very Hard difficulty. He also hasn't put many points into Armorer as well, that Ranger outfits in a pretty bad state.
Hoploo Well in that case, Gunslinger still stands but he hasn't taken Cowboy for that extra revolver damage and his Ranger uniforms in very poor condition. He should probably go see Major Knight about fixing it up.
I'm more obsessed with fallout lore itself, and any fan of the series since it's inception probably agrees that fallout 4 missed the mark. By a margin of Skyrim.

Excellent indie film. Props to the women playing the mother and daughter, their reuniting was performed so well it made the ending where it could have broken it. Well done. Also the robot CGI was extremely well done, shocking for an amateur film!

That's a very high-quality fan made movie. I was very impressed with the robot color match. Many fan-made animations don't get color grading right when 3d assets are involved. Hell some of the netflix shows don't get it right.

The reason why the NCR vet armor looked off in the show was because it was probably scavenged and was deteriorating. I doubt the guys wearing it were actual rangers.

Honestly, I like the Gecko Backed armor but the Metal One isn't great since it just has bad durability and takes too much to repair all the time. And you can't jury rig it without spending your power armor

In all fairness, the show is set after the NCR was mostly driven out, seems to be the case with their Mojave chapter as well, the shot of the strip at the series' end shows us that it's rather obviously gone to shit after the events of NV, so the armor would probably be rather rare or piecemeal, it's not gonna look as "good" with inexperienced civvies wearing the armour.

Something I just realized about this is when they do the reload scenes they show a python yet the revolver he uses is a somewhere around the lines of a dragoon/texas walker/navy revolver.

Judging by his shooting ability I'd say he's put some points into Gunslinger but the lack of damage he was doing to the super mutant I'd say he's neglected Gun Nut and hasn't moddified his revolver and also plays on Very Hard difficulty. He also hasn't put many points into Armorer as well, that Ranger outfits in a pretty bad state.
Hoploo Well in that case, Gunslinger still stands but he hasn't taken Cowboy for that extra revolver damage and his Ranger uniforms in very poor condition. He should probably go see Major Knight about fixing it up.
