Hey, I mastered the technique of Clicking troughout 50.000+ Chance Orbs and more than 100.000 Fusings that i spent in the last leagues. The trick is to switch fingers every 200 fuse.... I think my current is about 8 fuse per second :D

By including some extra information like where you got a the multi mod recipe you made the video real good. The purpose of tutorials is to watch less tutorials. Most other guides are just saying create an imprint then multi craft, etc. But just including small details like where you can get the craft from it saves a lot of energy on the viewer's part. I really like your content and definitely your style. You sir have made an awesome video and earned my subscribe.

@11:15 I thought this was very informative up until you forgot (or didn't know) that you should always block a mod when you decide to regal with an open affix. You should've blocked a Suffix you didn't want to hit - such as Dexterity. For other people who don't already know this, if you add a crafted mod, the item cannot roll that mod. So by crafting Dexterity, the item would have had to roll something else when he Regaled it. This improves your odds of hitting something good!

Really great guide man! Sadly I put nearly 14 EX into mine trying to get it 6 linked... but finally got it. I think it's important to be honest with the RNG factor. I could have just bought a pre-crafted axe for that kind of cost. Or maybe bought the 5EX 6 link prophecy... or bought the axe already six linked like you ended up doing. Without a doubt, 6 linking is the one area where this axe can get very expensive to craft. It took about 500 alterations so get my base with 20 level fortify and 133% increased damage. Now a rare after getting a bad Regal mod and getting lucky to remove it with an Annulment. So now I have another 5 EX to get it finished... but the RNG part is over. All said and done I'll have almost 20ex in the axe. I'll be happy with the axe... but very disappointed in how much it cost me overall. With the exception of letting your viewers know they could very well be spending a LOT more than a Atiri's Disfavor... the guide was really well done and I learned a LOT. I highly recommend buying a six link base axe, or a base and a prophecy. Alternately you can do the 1500 fuse recipe.
This cleared up a lot about crafting for me, but I still made a major mistake lol. WARNING: long story I was farming maps waiting for an elder axe to drop and realised it was going to require a stupid amount of luck to make it happen so I went to a trade site and waited. Eventually a 6 slot elder vaal went up with some great mods on it and I decided I would just use that because while it wasnt perfect it was 2 exa and I was sorted! I did the trade and went to get ready to 6 link it but noticed the quality was just 24%. I had a perfect fossil from delving so bought a resonator and slammed it right into the axe... yep... bricked it. I thought it would raise just the quality, not reroll everything. I was pretty sad cause I only had the 2 exa after all my time playing. Eventually I decided that it was a mistake to learn from and scoured the axe back to white, put quality mods on it and 6 linked it in ~100 fusings.... Then I shoved alterations into it until I got the 20 fort and 134% damage increase, annulled it and got rid of the shitty 3rd mod. I checked my beastiary and I already had the animal required for imprinting! Got that sorted and went for the regal. Didnt get a good 3rd so I anulled and bricked, imprinted again and anulled and it worked. Now I have a 6 slot linked rare with fort and physical % increase ready to go and its worth 4 times what I paid atleast. I am doing the Pale Court tonight then finding what recipes I can to turn this into a monster. So thanks for making this so clear because when I fucked up massively this gave me hope.
You were imprinting a basic 20 fort axe without hybrid roll on it ? :o ... all about that 20 fort + hybrid phys % 2nd roll haha. I made two with 20,000 alts. sold one for 50 ex and kept one for me :D 660 and 640 DPS each >:D

The VIDEO you imprint a basic ass 20 fort axe....unless your talking about the 130phys % but thats 100% always with the 20 fort roll... soooo you literally are imprinting a basic ass 20 fort roll axe..... to make a sub par axe... the only time someone should be using 100-140 chaos imprint beasts on a 2h crafted axe is when they hit 20 fort + hybrid phys % or 20 fort + T1 or T2 flat phys add... ORRRR 20 fort + hybrid attack speed 20/20... THEN they should use imprints and try to annul the shit mod that rolls on it with the regal.... ;) ;)

I just finally 6 linked my Vaal axe. I got it 2nd day into the league, and spent over 6000 fusings to finally get it to 6-link. 47% quality as well. Nuts.
@Sarun Maharjan That disfavour needs to 6 linked as well. And you can get higher quality on normal gear, wich should make it easier to 6 link them compared to uniques.
@@gyrstwurstco.5622 Personally I got super lucky in the guild im in with the leader not needing his Disfavor and handing it to me as a 6 socket but then got super MEGA lucky 6 linking it with 4 fusings. So all in all I got a 6L Atzeri Disfavor for 4 Fusings lel.

This was my first league, and I watched 2-3 other crafting videos before someone actually mentioned how to imprint (what the beasts name was). This really was a 1-stop video for how to craft.
yeap I hate that aspect of this game nowadays... I used to like it but it becomes overwhelming to many features to tray out and currency up to the galaxy away!...
I think you should only go with imprint route if you wanna save time. It's cheaper to roll another Fortify (in case you failed the regal + annul/double annul) with alts for those 90-100c. Depending on RNG you may even roll it twice or more in this 100c budget.
@@marcusnordstrom9251 Oh well, if you approach it like this, then I guess imprint is better. In my case I couldn't really afford gambling 100c so I had to resort to altspam. Still, great video, thanks a lot for sharing. Also, what's your opinion on crafting IAS + quality and Double damage/crit multi instead of stat + quality and IAS?
You can also try to Annul the "Can have multiple crafted mods" and try to get one more useful suffix. but heavy rng! :) Really helpful vid mate, thanks ♥
There are two things I see maybe one or two people suggest in crafting videos for people new to crafting, which make a huge difference in cost efficiency and isn't shown here: #1 If your suffix doesn't matter because its getting annulled if its junk anyway, augment every open prefix, especially in a league where alts are 5-6:1c to reduce the cost on alts. (Obviously vice versa applies if you're trying to craft something like a Curse on Hit ring) #2 Depending league to league / item bases as well - If you don't have the money to spend 3ex on an unlinked vaal axe, try buying a despot or void which are marginally worse. You can normally get a 6linked base for a similar price as an un-linked void axe, the difference isn't that great on a multimod, and at mirror tier they're only 10-15% worse regardless.
Both good points! Sadly the price of alt's had just reached really expensive values in this league. It was about 1:12 when I did this video and it was no point to use augmentation to fill in the extra affix. Also a good point with the base, would not work with me becuse of my OCD. Would bother me every minute after crafting it even if its just a few %:)
Thank you for making this guide. Super helpful. For the other noobs out there like myself who are considering to try this after you watch it, be mindful of one thing. The imprint WILL get rid of the 6 link if you created the imprint before you 6 linked it. I made the mistake of imprinting before I 6 linked, spent 4 ex 6 linking it, and then when I used my imprint lost those 6 links :( Needless to say, I am very demoralized, and very frustrated that it's not more explicit. When I looked at the wiki it said the imprint reverts the "modifiers" so I figured my links would be safe. A very expensive learning lesson for myself. Well, I have with the last 4 ex that I have I can 6 link it again.

I noticed that GGG has changed this so only the lvl 68 fortify is available, it will show as tier 1 when you get it on the axe. the poeaffix site you used still shows up to lvl 80, but the poedb site shows the updated information that there is only lvl 1 fortify now.
a comment on crafting bases. the dps shown on Wiki is rarely the highest DPS potential weapon, in fact with the 2h Axes the Fleshripper is so close behind but got 50% more crit base its a stronger contenter in general to craft on. for more examples the strongest phys staff is a Lathi, even thoe it shows low in the wiki, simply how base ias is the most importent stat. Also in 1H axes, both royal and siege axes turn out with same result exactly when crafted to perfection but the siege axe have a more multiplyer effect shown in attack speed... to say it short. base attack speed is better even with lower dps with more secoundary sources of base damage, such as rings, amulets, and now flat on skills.. the Vaal axe is slow so many other bases will deal more damage with all the added mods. To figure the best base you must know what other sources of flat you stack on top in the final build. lets say resist rings with t1 phys, and a amulet with 15 phys, and then the base damage provided by the weapon, if you add this to your calc you will find a 30% less dps weapon but with a 15% more base attack in final craft will give better dps
Think I did try diffrent bases in PoB with my gear and vaal axe did the most dmg, not by much. But your statment make sense and I do understand how some lower dps weapons might give more overall dps depending synergies with other stats. Also most importantly it will be much cheaper:)
@@marcusnordstrom9251 WEll ofc, i been doing math on bases since open beta. with the current new attack gems of 3.7 the intire foundation of gems have been shaken to the ground, so the community must accept and understand the meaning of thies things. a lvl 21 cyclone adds a Wooping 75.1 base damage, add rings neck ect you now see a massive change in meta favouring the weaker but faster base. its 3 grade math at play here. total base of phys x final IAS on the weapon.. any inc, in phys % and ias are always added % ontop so will scale equiv regardless of the base. meaning who ever land most dps on the first calc takes home the crown

My question is: how important is the lvl 20 fortify? cause i got the lvl 16 fortify with 111% phys but i got it with the 20% att speed and 20% att speed if killed recently. should I multicraft with lv 16 fortify but great att speed rolls? or just keep altering till get the lv 20 fortify? thanks again for your guides, they are really helpfull!

Really great video! I'm going to craft an axe like that very soon. Would u mind if I ask here about damage on full life and blood rage? Does it really work when u got like 99,5% of our life but never 100%?
Great video overall, only one complaint. Why quality and int? Int is easy to get on other gear, or the tree, and you're missing out on an extremely good suffix: %chance to deal double damage. This suffix is actually just %more damage. (Because, if you have a 10% chance to deal double, 10% of the time you'll deal 100% more damage, .1 x 100 = 10% more damage) And, by contrast, quality is only %increased phys. Your axe right now has 533 dps, but with the other craft instead: you would have 501 dps + 10% more which is effectively 551 dps. A small increase, for sure, but this only gets better the more insane your axe is. If you were able to hit the "of the elder" %phys suffix, or significantly higher aspeed, or conqueror's prefix, the difference would be a lot bigger. Again, well presented and easy to follow guide, but that is one small optimization that can be made.
Playing cyclone so this is a good video to see. Also discouraging because I will never have the amount of currency it requires to craft one of these things lol
You can do it step by step, just farm enough currency for the next step. This way you will get more excited and its a lot more rewarding (like a challange)
interesting "guide"... you can buy a high rolled 6L starforge, uncorrupted starting from 5ex... same for Atziri's Disfavour... just from what I have counted you have spent at least 5ex on the crafting mods, atop of that I did not counted the fusing spam, plus the orbs of anulments (which costs each 0,5ex), oh and ofc. the Pale Council stuff... (in case you fail, rebuying the key set 40c)...+ alternations :) I don't say, that this weapon isn't better than SFIS or ADVA, but it's pricey at least as those two ;) +ofc. all depends on the time of the league (start/mid/end) for the prices
Yes, my "guide" was made at a time where disfavor was over 15 ex 6-linked and Starforge even more. Made zero sense for people to get those 2h weapons when they could get a much better one for cheaper:) Thanks for your support!
This video teaches alot of good stuff... but also very wrong... please do NOT waste 100+ chaos for each imprint for a shitty 20 fort roll alone.... if you end up using 3 or 4 just to get it plain 20 fort...its not worth it thats bad... you want 20 fort + T1 or T2 phys... or hybrid phys %/cullin strike or hybrid phy/accuracy THEN you want to imprint regal it.... an axe with those 2 rolls are worth it. Not just a 20 fort axe. Also remember if you regal it and it has a suffix you can simply craft prefixes cant be removed...then scour it to leave just the 20fort and hybrid phys rolls. "Spinmafia" add me if you have any questions im always down to help new crafters

There are two things I see maybe one or two people suggest in crafting videos for people new to crafting, which make a huge difference in cost efficiency and isn't shown here:
#1 If your suffix doesn't matter because its getting annulled if its junk anyway, augment every open prefix, especially in a league where alts are 5-6:1c to reduce the cost on alts. (Obviously vice versa applies if you're trying to craft something like a Curse on Hit ring)
#2 Depending league to league / item bases as well - If you don't have the money to spend 3ex on an unlinked vaal axe, try buying a despot or void which are marginally worse. You can normally get a 6linked base for a similar price as an un-linked void axe, the difference isn't that great on a multimod, and at mirror tier they're only 10-15% worse regardless.
Both good points! Sadly the price of alt's had just reached really expensive values in this league. It was about 1:12 when I did this video and it was no point to use augmentation to fill in the extra affix. Also a good point with the base, would not work with me becuse of my OCD. Would bother me every minute after crafting it even if its just a few %:)

Thank you for making this guide. Super helpful. For the other noobs out there like myself who are considering to try this after you watch it, be mindful of one thing. The imprint WILL get rid of the 6 link if you created the imprint before you 6 linked it. I made the mistake of imprinting before I 6 linked, spent 4 ex 6 linking it, and then when I used my imprint lost those 6 links :( Needless to say, I am very demoralized, and very frustrated that it's not more explicit. When I looked at the wiki it said the imprint reverts the "modifiers" so I figured my links would be safe. A very expensive learning lesson for myself. Well, I have with the last 4 ex that I have I can 6 link it again.
Wow, thats a hard lesson:( hoppfully no one is doing that misstake after watching my video. As long as they are following the steps in the order I did them in it should be fine. Good luck 6- linking it!!!

I noticed that GGG has changed this so only the lvl 68 fortify is available, it will show as tier 1 when you get it on the axe. the poeaffix site you used still shows up to lvl 80, but the poedb site shows the updated information that there is only lvl 1 fortify now.
Sadly its all true:( did miss when that nerf arrived. Was good while it worked:)

a comment on crafting bases. the dps shown on Wiki is rarely the highest DPS potential weapon, in fact with the 2h Axes the Fleshripper is so close behind but got 50% more crit base its a stronger contenter in general to craft on. for more examples the strongest phys staff is a Lathi, even thoe it shows low in the wiki, simply how base ias is the most importent stat. Also in 1H axes, both royal and siege axes turn out with same result exactly when crafted to perfection but the siege axe have a more multiplyer effect shown in attack speed... to say it short. base attack speed is better even with lower dps with more secoundary sources of base damage, such as rings, amulets, and now flat on skills.. the Vaal axe is slow so many other bases will deal more damage with all the added mods. To figure the best base you must know what other sources of flat you stack on top in the final build. lets say resist rings with t1 phys, and a amulet with 15 phys, and then the base damage provided by the weapon, if you add this to your calc you will find a 30% less dps weapon but with a 15% more base attack in final craft will give better dps
Think I did try diffrent bases in PoB with my gear and vaal axe did the most dmg, not by much. But your statment make sense and I do understand how some lower dps weapons might give more overall dps depending synergies with other stats. Also most importantly it will be much cheaper:)
@@marcusnordstrom9251 WEll ofc, i been doing math on bases since open beta. with the current new attack gems of 3.7 the intire foundation of gems have been shaken to the ground, so the community must accept and understand the meaning of thies things. a lvl 21 cyclone adds a Wooping 75.1 base damage, add rings neck ect you now see a massive change in meta favouring the weaker but faster base. its 3 grade math at play here. total base of phys x final IAS on the weapon.. any inc, in phys % and ias are always added % ontop so will scale equiv regardless of the base. meaning who ever land most dps on the first calc takes home the crown
crafted my axe in 3rd day of the league... was pretty cheap back when i crafted now price is significantly higher.
i alt spammed, hit level 20 fortify and dex, imprinted, and annulled the dex, regaled hit t5 attack speed, and annuled the attack speed

I'm crafting my axe now. i've already 6 linked it and now i'm getting the right stats on it.
My question is: how important is the lvl 20 fortify? cause i got the lvl 16 fortify with 111% phys but i got it with the 20% att speed and 20% att speed if killed recently.
should I multicraft with lv 16 fortify but great att speed rolls? or just keep altering till get the lv 20 fortify?

Yeah, tests have been made and it works:) Both by me and other players.
Great video overall, only one complaint.
Why quality and int? Int is easy to get on other gear, or the tree, and you're missing out on an extremely good suffix: %chance to deal double damage. This suffix is actually just %more damage. (Because, if you have a 10% chance to deal double, 10% of the time you'll deal 100% more damage, .1 x 100 = 10% more damage) And, by contrast, quality is only %increased phys. Your axe right now has 533 dps, but with the other craft instead: you would have 501 dps + 10% more which is effectively 551 dps. A small increase, for sure, but this only gets better the more insane your axe is. If you were able to hit the "of the elder" %phys suffix, or significantly higher aspeed, or conqueror's prefix, the difference would be a lot bigger.
Again, well presented and easy to follow guide, but that is one small optimization that can be made.

You can do it step by step, just farm enough currency for the next step. This way you will get more excited and its a lot more rewarding (like a challange)

you can buy a high rolled 6L starforge, uncorrupted starting from 5ex...
same for Atziri's Disfavour...
just from what I have counted you have spent at least 5ex on the crafting mods, atop of that I did not counted the fusing spam, plus the orbs of anulments (which costs each 0,5ex), oh and ofc. the Pale Council stuff... (in case you fail, rebuying the key set 40c)...+ alternations :)
I don't say, that this weapon isn't better than SFIS or ADVA, but it's pricey at least as those two ;)
+ofc. all depends on the time of the league (start/mid/end) for the prices
Yes, my "guide" was made at a time where disfavor was over 15 ex 6-linked and Starforge even more. Made zero sense for people to get those 2h weapons when they could get a much better one for cheaper:) Thanks for your support!

2.5 for the base, 2 for multi, one for one mod, one for the imprint, close to one more for the alterations. So about 7.5 ex WITHOUT the fusing ofc.
can you show how you created your 2h sword for the version with the critic?
This video teaches alot of good stuff... but also very wrong... please do NOT waste 100+ chaos for each imprint for a shitty 20 fort roll alone.... if you end up using 3 or 4 just to get it plain 20 fort...its not worth it thats bad... you want 20 fort + T1 or T2 phys... or hybrid phys %/cullin strike or hybrid phy/accuracy THEN you want to imprint regal it.... an axe with those 2 rolls are worth it. Not just a 20 fort axe. Also remember if you regal it and it has a suffix you can simply craft prefixes cant be removed...then scour it to leave just the 20fort and hybrid phys rolls.
