It's only fair since you called out Alex Jones, and by talking about Rachel madcow's lies it makes you not such a leftist political hack. But if I can't I'll deal with it and make concessions. And if it really really blows I'll sell it and get a switch I guess...

      Yeah, I don't see any of these companies (Ayaneo, GDP, etc.) being competitive. I'm sure they'll still sell to hardcore enthusiasts but most people will go for the Steam Deck just by the price. I don't see a Steam Deck competitor coming unless some company like Microsoft or Sony decides they want in on the market as well since they're the only ones that can afford to take a loss on these like Valve can

    As a Nintendo gamer, the best part about these new handheld gaming PC's is the insight it gives us on what to expect from the next Switch. After seeing the Neo Next and the Steam Deck in action, people should temper their expectations on performance for the Switch 2. The Switch form factor is much tighter and thermals and battery life much more strict. In portable mode, the Switch 2 will need to operate on 6-7 watts. Even with developers targeting Switch 2 hardware and having low level access, it will be lucky to match the visuals seen on this Aya Neo Next.

    • @rassular
      @rassular 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The switch 59 wouldn't even "match" a handheld pc lol. There's a difference between being restricted to eshop games and having the option for any software you want.

    Steam deck. Maybe if Ayaneo and onexplayer both have fix the squishy Dpad. I would of been interested. That is why couldn't get into buying a onexplayer mini because of the dpad on my 8.4 onexplayer. Even the budget friendly Retroid 2 plus has a better Dpad! I place a pre-order on that since it has improved over the retroid 2. Steam Deck also has back paddle buttons, touch pad and gyro. 1/3rd the cost? Can't wait to get my Steam deck.

    Yeah, the Steam Deck is coming, but for those lucky few that pre-ordered it in the first few minutes.
    Heck, I pre-ordered it a few hours after it went live and am in "After Q2." So I don't think there will be very many Steam Decks. I don't think anyone who didn't pre-order it on day one will get it this year. So it all comes down to how much you want to spend and when.
    Because there may well be a more powerful alternative BEFORE you even get an opportunity to order the Deck.
