Recipe for Bulgogi:
Thinly sliced steak
Marinade6 tablespoons soy sauce 3 tablespoons water4 tablespoons sugar ( or you can use 2 T sugar 2 T honey) Use more if not using Korean pear or apple2 tablespoons rice wine or miri2 tablespoons minced garlic2 tablespoons sesame oil2 teaspoons sesame seeds4 tablespoons grated Korean/Asian pear⅛ teaspoon pepper
Cook in a pan, either individually or all together with the marinade.

Ok Kenny, I’m Korean and that Bulgogi was nice. Next time bring a kiwi and a can of coke. Use half the sugar and pour in a can of coke. The carbonation and the sugar in the coke will be enough and the kiwi will super tenderize the meat in like 20 mins. If you cook all of it at once you can get some nice juice to drizzle on your rice and if you put a small dollop of butter on your hot rice and then spoon some of that bulgogi on top of it all…… trust me brother…. It’s gonna knock your socks off. Loved the video!!! God bless and see you on the next one!

1. Start off with a pound of Thin Sliced Ribeye ( some asian markets call it Beef for Shabu-shabu)
2. 5 tablespoons of Soy Sauce
3. 3 tablespons of Sesame Oil
4. 3 tablespoons of sugar or honey
5. 4 cloves of garlic ( minced ) You can add as much as you want if you like more than that.
6. 1/2 cup of orange juice
7. 1/2 a can of Coke
8. Dash of salt
9. Tablespoon of Black pepper
10. 1/2 large onion sliced up thin
11. 3 green onions rough chopped
12. 2 tablespoons of Roasted Sesame seeds
13. 1 ripe kiwi , peeled and then you can just smoosh it up with your hand and toss it in.
Mix it all up with your hands in a big mixing bowl ( wash them first - or where some gloves )
Cover the bowl up with plastic wrap or put all the meat and juices in a gallon ziplock bag and then toss it in the fridge to marinate for about an hour.
Note: if you use the kiwi it only needs and hour and if you let it go like 3 or 4 hours all the meat will fall apart. If you dont use a Kiwi then you can let it marinate overnight if you want to.
Get you a bowl of fresh steamed white rice, and add a dollop of butter on the rice -- im telln ya its gonna change your life) then scoop up a nice heap of Hot and steamin bulgogi on the top of that, drizzle in some of that amazing Bulgogi juice from the cookin pan and Ooooooowe! Your set!

Love the set up. The only thing missing is a way to get to the upper room without being exposed to the elements.
Definitely agree! This tent does have a second piece you can use with it that allows for that but it would be very good to have a way up there from the bottom!

I moved to Washington when I was 23 and moved away 18 years ago after my late husband retired. We both retired from the Naval shipyard. One thing I miss about Washington is the beauty. I wanted to live there since I was 14 and first saw it. I kind of miss it.

The needs to forgo the lower canopy & have one from the top of tent at bed tent. It should be water proof w/drop netted sides that anchor. Tent should come w/a ladder to access top area from inside covered screen area to the lower ground area. Then both areas - upper and lower areas opens to a screened area making it nice to access upper or lower in rain and protects from bugs. Screen porch provides another lounge area.

Another one for the books Kenny. Really really really like this tent. You should buy yourself some sort of ladder type thing that you can pack away and keep it in the tent bag so you don't hurt your back hiking yourself up a bazillion times. LOL.. This is really glamping, that duck lamp and the couch is so cool, I liked this set up Kenny. Although the spring time is so pretty I’ll miss seeing the snow. Love the chair! looked very comfortable. if I had that insulated tent.. I'd probably be so comfortable and warm in there I'd be sleeping in.. in the morning too. The bulgogi looked very good. Bulgogi is Korean bbq. It tastes even better on the charcoal grill. Typical Korean wrap would include soybean paste and you could add more veggies, raw sliced garlic, or grilled garlic… mixture combo is endless. So glad you enjoyed Korean food. Next time, try Kim chip- fermented, marinated Napa cabbage. Full of probiotic. 😅

How about Kim Chee? I can't recall how it's spelled--so sorry. I buy that at a local Asian store and just eat it out of the jar! It's so good and so filled with garlic flavor. Can that be added to bulgogi? We don't have any Korean restaurants where we live, that I know of. :(

I just randomly found your videos. I don't like camping but your videos make it seem interesting. Your bulgogi was legit, I rarely make it from scratch, and the Samanco icecream with the green tea is my favorite flavor of the brand.

I often put tuna salad that I make on top of lettuce instead of toast. Now I need to make tuna salad! LOL!

I just came from a Korean BBQ and Hotpot restaurant here in Connecticut. It was amazing. You will love the bulgolgi (? on spelling lol). I'm still laughing with how you got up in the top part of the tent. I would of never made it.😂😂😂

I also hadn't seen any 'glamping' style videos, showing that there is nothing wrong if people want to be super comfy... especially as, just like my whole childhood, camping were the only holidays we ever had-we could never afford anything else.
