While you show nice products, the prices are just ridiculously expensive. You have a sleeping bag for sale that costs 2,440 bucks. This tent is 2,250 bucks, not including the solar panel, the woodstove, etc. By the time someone buys all that, they could have bought a tiny home on wheels and just take their house with them whenever the bug out.
Yes! Everything he sells is way overpriced😞 I've found quite a few of the items that he sells for less than half the price from the source, just like those radiation detectors, I found out where they come from and they're half the price😔
Lol!my husband was in the other room when I was listening to this video, he laughed so hard at the "men don't need instructions!" Love the tent, love the video. Please keep it up!

Yeah, or have literally any bear pull up on you and you’re literally done for, any tent that can’t withstand wind or a bear attack is a useless tent. A bear can literally pull up on you in less than half a second while you sleep and it’s over for you in under two seconds.

You were talking about the Arctic sleeping bag, that thing is very nice but when you said you wouldn't need the stove, you neglected to mention the fact that the next morning when you get out of the sleeping bag it would be very cold, very cold. That is in the Arctic. Very nice tent with a very nice price. Well you have all the toys for cold weather or I should probably say equipment. Thanks for demonstrating this tent very nice
Good for camping but also, let's say you had some off-grid land, instead of building a little cabin, I suppose you could just setup one of these whenever you wanted.
@@halocarita yeah but the thing is they will come back every week to make sure that you are gone. You can’t get around that because you can tell them you’re camping but they will be back and this time they will bring a watch and a calendar and they will know exactly how many days you’ve been there and eventually you will have to leave, because camping on your own land is illegal and extremely dangerous and nobody should be allowed to live on their land, for obvious reasons.
I gotta say, the tent was awesome. BUT THE BEST PART of this video is the "Normalcy Norman" theme song link in the description. Thank you to whoever added that!
You make such cozy camps ❤ I’d love a test run video in wind/rain because this really looks like it might be my dream tent for long autumn trips. The fact it is set up so well for the wood stove plus the door and window layout look ideal. How would you compare the effort of carrying the heavy tent and pumping the tent manually vs setting up more standard wood stove friendly frames? Could a battery powered pump be used to fill it with the adapters included? I’m also interested in info on how well the solar panels would charge a jackery or similar under wooded tree cover vs open sun. This really looks perfect for four wheeler trips deep in woods that can’t be accessed with a truck.
What temperatures can this be used? Most inflatable tents have a max cold temp is can be used. Also, how is humidity after a few hours closed up or by morning? Thank you for the video.
Sweet!!! Very nice!! Good job guys!! Looks like a place one could live in year round. Out in nature, and quiet. What's not to Enjoy!!! Is there ice fishing nearby?
I know, right??? I didn't see any obvious way to roll up the roof window coverings easily.. Looks like they zip v/^ & use velcro tabs so you can roll it up & secure it. But if that doesn't work well for you then you could fashion loops to hold ropes close to both ends on bottom side of window cover. Toss rope over tent & then on other side pull rope to v/^covering & tie off.
There are cheaper options. Probably not built as good, but if you want to try it out, I think they'd be a good option. Especially for those who don't go out camping as much to warrant such a cost.
I think that small zipper is for if you have a power back in the tent with a solar panel outside to allow the wires through without needing to use the opening. I also think if you were running a glamping site you could use that to bring power into the tent as well.
Can you buy the solar panels and system separately?? I already have the London Maxia 480 tent from Sonmez Outdoor. But would love the solar power system?
Why were you pulling the sled? You had a good dog with you, they handle the pulling way better than we do!!! I actually injured my elbow pulling the exact same sled with only a load of hay on fresh powder... I had only just started training one of my dogs on pulling the sled wearing a simple X-back harness. Well, we got a blizzard, and I knew I couldn't pull the sled without further injuring myself, so I brought the dog out for the job... Oh, man, AMAZING! She did SO WELL, and of course she is actually built for such a job, so had none of the issues that I, a two-legged being, had :) I have since trained one of our other dogs on the sled and harness only just yesterday, and even though she's smaller than her daughter - only 80# vs 120# - she had no issues hauling the hay, and took to the job like she was born for it! Today, we utilized both dogs: Mom hauled down about 100# of supplies, only needing help whenever the sled got stuck in a rut, or if she went at a bit of a run and then stopped, with the sled running over its tow ropes 😂 Daughter went for the second supply run plus two firewood runs, even though it was only her fifth time hauling, and she was an absolute STAR even though she was working with a different handler (my husband) on all those runs 🥰 If you have a good dog, as part of your SHTF planning I highly recommend training them to pull sleds and/or carts! The sled and harness cost us about $250 combined, which is a pretty easy investment, and it is definitely worth it!!! That tent looks AWESOME!!!
