What’s your minimalist gear of choice when you want to go light? 😍📸
When I want to go minimalist for me it's the A7RIV + Sigma 18-50mm DC DN for 26MP APSC compact shooting. For full frame shooting I take my 35mm GM. This ecosystem is so versatile.
A7RV + Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 👌
For my minimalist set up I use my Pentax k1 MK2 with a HD Pentax-D FA* 50mm F1.4 SDM AW. It's a fairly compact set up that can fit into a small shoulder bag but has some weight to it.
Mi R6 con el RF 15-35mm f/2.8. Excelente video, tía. Mi sling favorito lo hace HEX; se llama el Ranger. Es increíblemente similar al Wandrd.
A fujifilm xt4+ Sigma 18-50 2.8 (all around lens) + Sigma 56 1.4 (portrait)
No space for food or flask in that bag! I like to carry small provisions for those just in case moments.
Lmao of course you can fit that it comes down to how much gear you store and the size bag you get just be smart about lol throw a couple protein bars in there and call it a day
Nice. I love carrying a similar Peak Design bag with Nikon z30 w/ 28mm 2.8 as my daily carry. Although I leave the full frame z6 behind, this size allows me to carry the mini 3 pro drone as well. Land and Sea kit for the win.
Laura, I carry the Mirroless Mover 30i from Think Tank, with the Fujifilm XT-5, 16-80mm, 70-300mm and a 1.4 teleconverter, mostly for photography

One question do you are from Italy so pretty lady and very smart videos.
I use the Sony A7CII and Sony ZV-10..., with Loxia 21mm f/.2.8, SZ 24mm f/.1.8 and SZ 35mm f/.2.8. I´m planing to buy the Tamron 20-40mm f/.2.8 (just one lens). I own the same Rode Wireless Mic, and Ride Micro Mic... I also, own a Haida ProII PL / ND filter 3 stop to 7 stop in 82mm (with many ring adapter to all my lenses). All I need (no dron)...

My walk around gear is similar to yours. Camera: Canon EOS M50 Mark 2. Lens: Canon EOS 75 - 300 mm and a macro 10-24mm lens. Tripod: small rig monopod / tripod. Light: Ulanzi RGB pocket rechargeable light. 2nd camera: Insta360 X3 with stick. Power Brick 5500 for recharging equipment. Backpack: cheap camera backpack found on ebay with multiple adjustable slots.And an Iphone 11.

You are absolutely right. More than 6 L is not going to be a minimalist set up, because more space = more gear !! Congratulations for your fantastic work.

Fujifilm XT30 With 23mm f2, 27mm f2.8, on a chest strap two spare battery's that's it .......the 27mm is a pancake lens so if you have a coat the camera and lens fit in a pocket, I mainly do street photography with them.......
Sometimes I wish I had got the sony A7c as opposed to the Nikon Z5 just because of size and the number of lens' available, but am a Nikon guy since the 1980's. Sold all my Nikon gear to get the Z system (perhaps stupidly). For now I have the Nikon z5 with 24-200 and a 40/2 which covers most of my needs.
What about new sony a6700? As well I would like to buy a softbox for my home photography studio. I have two options: Selens beauty dish umbrella 65 cm or Smallrig parabolic La D65 65 cm. Smallrig it's better quality but doesn't beauty dish. Which would be the best choice between these two.
Absolutely love the set up! LOL... I've got a very similar build out, but I' a bit of a prime snob LOL. I rock the a7rv, Sony 24, 50 1.4 and 135 GMs. Sigma 35 & 85 1.4 DG DN. For travel I rock the a7c (silver) + Sigma 45 2.8 Contemporary. Since I shoot mostly flash, I carry a AD100 & AD300 in by backpack too. Keep up the great work!
I use a peak design 6L sling. I carry an a7c with the 28-60 kit lens or 20mm f/1.8 and 85mm f/1.8 I also have the Sony ECM B1M mic. It’s great because no wires. It’s all connected through the hot shoe.
Or a Fujifilm x-e4 with 23mm f/2 and Viltrox 75mm f/1.2. It’s a tight fit but worth it.

I got the same 6L in black one is very good nothing compare with de competition as Peak Desing I sold to buy it in Adorama NJ USA. I love it because is very confortamble and practice to carry out camera one extra lens and small bottler and tripod I plan to buy it that Unlanzi tripod is very good better and cheaper than Peak Desing.
My minimalist setup is: my old Fujifilm X-pro1 with 35mm, my smartphone for editing on the go, a usb-c card Reader.
All in my pocket and around my neck and that's it for half a day, if I have to go for more than that I have a think tank mirrorless mover (20 I think) that my wife gifted me and it's perfect for the small setup
I think you will love the DJI mic. Especially that they have internal recording. Highly recommend

My minimalist walkaround system consists of one body and one lens, period. Allows me to always have a camera with me, even when just going to the grocery 2 blocks away. My usual street camera setup is a Fujifilm X-E2 with the Fujinon 27mm pancake lens or very underrated Fujinon 15-45mm mini zoom. Sometimes I mount one on the camera and carry the other in a very small belt loop case ~
do a video on how to handle 15000 dollars in our monkey hands and not be able to protect it--- as a camera is far more fragile than a baby-- not being cruel-- its true. baby cries- 20k lenses break
& a power bank :)

Leica Q2 with a strap. No bag needed:) Or I'll remove the strap and put it in a Peak Design 3L with my wallet, phone and keys.
I need that Leica Q2 🥹 That’s an even more minimalist carry. I need the DJI Mini 3 Pro in my bag as an extra though 😍 I’m going to South East Asia in a few months. It would help a lot to record my solo travels. The tracking works pretty good.

Nice video, Laura! Also don’t feel bad…I still use my iPhone XS Max simply because it feels better in my hands than the sharp edges of the more recent iPhones. But I admit I’m probably going to upgrade when the next version is released too. 🙃🥰
The major cons to for this bag is there's no rain cover like the thinktank bag.
You should do the Sony Xperia 1 as a content creator. That other phone is for the masses, not for the pros.

I carry a Domke F-502 reporters satchel with their postal carriers strap. Very comfortable. Fits three lenses or two lenses and one on the camera carried with a camera strap. That 3rd pocket then can hold flash or other miscellaneous gear. Perfect size for travel.

I just had a Sony A7c paired with 35mm and 85mm f1.8. Small and neat setup and no more lenses needed. Perhaps I will replace the 35mm with 28mm some point in the future.
Perfect camera right?? I love the 35mm! It’s an incredibly versatile lens. And the 85mm for portraits… 😍
I recently just purchased the iPhone 14 pro and it’s amazing, I had the 12 mini before that. I highly recommend going for the iPhone pro, their battery life and camera is great so far .

Nice one! Was on the lookout for a new sling bag that could hold a bit more than the one I use now. For small gear I also recommend the iPad mini, super when you'd like to edit and show pictures fast. For microphones I use the DJI mic, since... yeah DJI ;p Works great with iPhone and the DJI Osmo 6. I would maybe add the Zhiyun Molus 100X to the list in form off perfect lights for on the road
Great recommendations!😊 The DJI mics are incredible too! I do have my iPad Pro as well which fits perfectly. But this kit is more designed for my daily hikes and adventures when I want to go light creating content. So I wouldn’t be taking it probably. And the molus x100… it will come with me too! 😍 Good addition!
