I live local and really like the pedestrian/cycle Tyne tunnels now that they are back open again. Watching your video they look so dirty and stuff compared to them now since they have been refurbished. Interesting to see. Thanks
Thanks for the tour! Looks *very* pleasant and also interesting. And I'm also glad I watched it as I probably would have ridden down the wrong side of the paths should I get around to my desired bike trip over there.
Having done the C2C a couple of times I recognise a lot of these paths. Brilliant use of the contoured map, if I may be so bold can I ask you what app it is ?
@Richgambs321 you could try contacting Saddle Skedadle based at the Cycle Hub on the Tyne. They have rides out from there a couple of times per month. Also
The Tyne Bridge was opened in 1928 the Sydney Harbour bridge was opened in 1932 the Sydney Harbour bridge was Drew up by an architect a year before the construction of the Tyne Bridge so in actual fact it was the Sydney Harbour bridge came first but the Tyne Bridge was built first according to Wikipedia
Now!...This is how Newcastle Upon Tyne, should be seen! EXCELLENT

Nicely done. It's LONG past time this tunnel was reopened. Far too many delays and excuses.

Also, take a look at the Sustrans and Sky Go Ride websites, they both run rides out of Newcastle.
you can get up a hell of a speed through the pedestrian tunnel !
