You know what else is amazing other than the views? This man's steady hands.
Perhaps, amazing are the engineers behind the stabilization systems in modern cellphone cameras
And has good camera his device and make good videos in 4Κ 60FPS.
In contrary Sam Chui make medium quality videos with simple 1080p. Not even with 60 FPS for more smooth video.
I asked Chui many times why he doesn't make an upgrade but no answer.
@@vaiosan775 Completely different styles. Sam Chui is more informative. Luxury Travel is meant to be more cinematic
@@raphaeloliveira4987 that is not excuse not upgrading Chui his camera at least to 1080p 60 FPS. For me some of Chui videos make me feel dizzy because are not smooth. For example when Chui move his camera (I suppose his mobile but not sure) horizontally.
And other travelers but with less subscribers have the style of Chui but have 4K cameras (smartphone or normal camera).
So NO ! It is NOT an excuse to not improve himself with better equipment to give better experience to his viewers.
@@vaiosan775how you moan about something that is provided to you free of charge is beyond me. nobody is forcing you to watch that other youtuber's videos. you can always make your own videos if you think you can do a better job.
I always love when you ask us if we ever stayed at these places. I'm always like, "Uhhh no, Luxury Travel Expert... No I have not". 😢 My version is more like, "Have you ever stayed at the Holiday Inn Express off I81 in Staunton, VA? If so drop a comment"
I could do one for Motel 6 somewhere off I95 perhaps?

First video of yours where I’ve not wanted to go to the resort. It looked soulless. Arriving it looked like an airport terminal
I agree. Nice alien jail cell. Poor use of real estate.
I loved the art in the lobby and the outdoor/indoor feel of that space as well as the library and spa, but I found the big white curves of the walls to feel a little too institutional. The suite looked nice, just seems like overall it's too big and seems to lack character in the guest room common areas.
You want it to be crowded?
The resort is breathtaking for its use of space and innovative architecture plus the facilities to cater to everyone though good enough only for a short 1/2 nights stay.
Looks infinitely more full of life than anything from the middle East, all those plants, trees, water features, like the insects and wildlife that comes with the plants too
Not sure what else you'd want. You'd probably be inundated with insects and birds you'd never seen in your life there, vs many places totally man made you'd see nothing natural at all

Simplemente espectacular, este es un hotel para descansar no para estar de fiesta, algunos comentarios lo critican pero definitivamente no es para todas las personas, el diseño del hotel es impresionante muy bien logrado y sobre todo porque que cuida el entorno rodeado por manglares. Las vistas se ven impresionantes y es de los mejores diseños de hoteles en Cancún que me ha tocado ver. Las ambientaciones de los espacios interiores y el mobiliario se ven impecables. La obra de ingeniería para su construcción se ve de lo mejor.

What a beautiful resort! love the integration of nature within the hotel. Feels like you're outside without being outside. Thanks for this tour! The hotel is massive and as a result: cold, austere and soulless. Some people will like this - others won’t. You did a terrific job on the video and capturing all of the elements that make this St Regis hotel top grade. But this will not be for everyone. Cheers!

I am going to the St Regis in a few weeks thank you for the preview. I am looking forward to some down time. It is like a spa resort the whole experience is spa like. I have the room with the splash pool to but it is ocean facing.

Doctor i have been watching since 2017...great video..especially the pool and walking on the beach..reminds me of that beach in Bali where you just heard the waves crashing for over two minutes...lovely...I see you are going back to the maldives...how about bali?...lastly..I know you switched to the TH-cam subtitles for variety of languages..but to me it cheapens the beautiful scenery of your work...I humbly ask we get the banner on the bottom of the screen again...I'm not liking the new format...thanks John.
Too much Maldives - please head to Japan / Korea / Thailand top end resorts.
St Regis Kanai has a contemporary design, such as lobby, library and spa, would not mix not follow the tropical weather or Maya cultural design.. Nevertheless I found the suite follows a degree of tropical design, because mainly using brown as main colour, to harmonize the tropical surroundings.
I found really impressive with the design from Chaya Restaurant for breakfast, in rare case, green tiles is difficult to fit with interior design, but the ambiance of the restaurant was so good! Thank you Expert!

Hello Traveler. The first thought I had looking at this resort, I was looking for Cenotes in the middle of that circular architecture among the mangroves.
Spiders, and Snakes, and Bugs Oh My !!! Spiders, and Snakes, and Bugs Oh My !! The resort is beautiful. I've been to that area many times by ship, but never by air and land based vacation.
What a enormous hotel, to big for my taste, but stunning location and overall the hotel looks nice and clean😊 thanks again legend for your video

To each his own! I'd prefer Banyan Tree or Rosewood Mayakoba over this any day, both are exceptional in their own individual way.
Banyan is overrated - just threw away one of their in-house sale items like several before.

Rosewood Kona Village is the tops! You should come and try it out. Very exclusive,so right up your alley. Try the sushi restaurant, Chef Jeung is amazing and a very nice person too.

Off topic, but I would love a video of your editing suite, the kit you use, and why you use it. The places you need to go on your bucket list? Top 3 locations in a video? The last time you went a B' n B' or an Air bnb. Best for business, best for family, best for solo, best for women on their own, best for active lifestyles....
I love your videos but lately all hotels you visit look kind of the same. There are so many iconic and legendary hotels that are important part of history and heritage like Hotel du Cap Eden Roc, The Beverly Hills Hotel, Copacabana Palace, The Breakers in Palm Beach, Marbella Club, Byblos St Tropez etc. I hope we will be able to see more of that kind of places on your channel soon.

With respect to your opinion dear, I just want to share my view.....the places we have been watching in courtesy of LTE, are the places fortunate people travel for the peace of soul and mind. Had these places been that soulful...i mean full of crowd, how would your soul get the desired peace of mind and soul?How would you taste the flavour of tranquility!! I wish I could let my family indulge in such serenity!!! How lucky Mr. LTE Doctor and his family are!

Do you film the bits in public areas really early in the morning? I’m always thinking “is this place so expensive that there’s just no one there?” Or are you filming the pools at like 7am?
Yes, I always film very early in the morning when there are no other guests around 😉

Being in the middle of mangroves, are there any unanticipated guests from the mangroves such as snakes and other forms of wildlife or insects that one must be aware of?

A splendid and magnificently designed estate. Watched the entire video unlike Belmond where 10 mins into it and it felt like sheer boredom.
Hola, bonito vídeo, es un lugar tan alejado, no es lo que visitaria, pero se agradece el paseo.
Riviera Maya and Caribbean area is invaded by seaweeds and IMO must be avoided. I stayed in 2015 at Belmond at Playa Maroma (beautiful resort) but the whole coast was fully covered by seaweeds. Same thing in Santo Domingo in 2022. I don't know if this is a consequence of global warming, but is a big problem there
the architecture is exactly my taste, looks like starfleet headquarter😅 But being built over Mangroves and water, don't they have to spray tons of insecticides to keep the ressort free of bugs and mosquitos? So no chance for fireflies in the mangroves?

Not a fan of this hotel. Looks bland and haa no vibrance to it. Also nothing to do there, be bored after 3 days. Over the last few hotels you have reviewed there is nothing to do,no days out....
