The Mecha Phantom Beasts do work because both archetypes contain Genju in the Japanese name, Phantom Beasts are Genju, Mecha Phantom Beast is Genjuki

Edit: MechaPhantom Beasts do get the boost from Cross-Wing, just tested it!
