My mum loves reading and when I was little she said that if I ever wanted any books she will buy them (because I didn't used to read that much) but now I'm having to pay for them with my own money because I'm a book addict ... :))))

YOU JUST SUMMED UP EVERYTHING I FEEL. Reader Lover should be a real term. Also your reader lover can be the person to hold you late at night when you've just finished a heart-wrenching book and are drowning in tears and need someone to remind you that they'll always be there for ya!
Two words: Book Suggestions. If you’re dating a reader, more than likely they’ll have read books you haven’t yet and they’ll hook you right up, and vice versa.

2. If you have no one in your life that reads or understands, finding someone that reads could be a dream come true. "You complete me".

my bf and I have very different tastes in books - but we do have reading dates, and let me just confirm - they are the best.
I think there should be a dating site for readers y'all. Like the only way to get in is writing about a book that you personally connected to so much and why. Then, it would go through a system of people who have read the book, and they choose if they get in or not. Also, it has to be more than like 5 books to make sure they're not just trying to get it in. Ooo must add their goodreads page and maybe bookstagram.
Just with the book lending thing that might backfire if you ever break up 😂 imagining shelves burning 😲

It's horrible dragging my friends to bookstores because they literally cannot stand being in one for 5 minutes compared to me being alone and staying in a bookstore all day. Plus, when I don't have money to buy the book I want, I will go to the bookstore and stay there all day and read it. Is that bad?
My boyfriend doesn’t read much, but I’m glad that he doesn’t absolutely hate books and that he respects my love for reading. He’s said that every once in a while there’s a book that he likes, and he’s really open to the idea of me reading to him (getting some Fangirl vibes here 😅). We haven’t done that yet, but I’m excited to introduce him to some new stuff. 😊📚

Every time my two friends and I go to malls we always put aside an hour to go to a bookstore and we just separate and go to our typical search spots and check for new books in each of our current series.

I hardly ever go to bookstores but last time my family went to books a million after a movie I was in awe. It felt like there actually were a million books, and I always love finding the Red Queen section and seeing all of the beautiful covers and words...I also found a red deluxe edition
I married a reader, best decision ever! Our wedding was literary themed! Date nights are constantly book stores, libraries, or reading next to each other on the couch. It is amazing!

My boyfriend has periods of reading huge books FAST or nothing at all... He reads fantasy and it's really awesome when we're going on a holiday, we're both constantly reading... On the beach, at the restaurant, in our bed, at breakfast... I love him 😍
