    I had the same issue. The problem is that the motor has a built in torque limiter witch means that if the roof is running heavy/tight the motor stops and pulls back a bit. My solution was to clean and lubricate all the moving parts, tracks and rubbers with a silicone spray. Now it’s running smooth again. (In the aft area of the roof just spray the lubricant between the rubber seals with the straw on the spray can).

      Thank-you, good explanation, and your solution worked today for me. Mine was squeaky or noisy, but cleaning and silicone lubrication worked. The design must try to prevent cutting off your arm, like an elevator door.

    Not really sure what you are showing us in two videos. It doesn't close without you pulling it. Just like ours.
