We would like to go camping and leave the sunscreen closed with the sunroof open. Wish that could be done. That's what I was hoping to see in this video
Hello! I have a sport cross 2022 atlas; the shade of the sunroof doesn’t fully closed.. what can I do about it? When I click on the bottom of forward it does go forward but goes back to mid sunroof.
Probably not, but try to do convenience closing. With the key in your pocket, touch one finger AND HOLD to the dimple on the door handle. The sunroof is supposed to close while you are touching the dimple. If it works, the turn signal will flash once the sunroof closes.
Hey man happy holiday, I have Volkswagen Touareg 2015 I bought couples of weeks ago unfortunately I did not try the sun roof. The shed is open but nothing works. I’ve tried to reset by holding the button but nothing moving. Any suggestions please
On the twist knob for the roof, there are two buttons with arrows. Those buttons operate the sunshade. If that doesn't work, take it in to have it looked at. You are out of warranty unless you bought one at purchase.
Thanks for the video! Two questions if you don't mind: What happens when you open the sunroof with the shade completely closed? Does the shade automatically close if gets too hot inside (parked outside in the sun for instance)? Appreciate it!
Answer 1: The sunshade automatically opens to MATCH the opening of the sunroof. If you open the sunroof a third of the way, then the sunshade matches it. Answer 2: That is a great "idea", but no, it does not. Maybe the engineers can make that happen.

Can you open the sunroof with the sun screen forward? I have tried and im unable to do so.
It is not designed to do that. That only works on cars with a manual sunshade unfortunately.
I want these instructions for 2017 Toureg

I have a 2019 vw tiguan same switches and it will close or reopen on both the window and screen. Any ideas of the problem and what to do.

Only vehicles with a manual sunshade will do that. That would be Jetta, Beetle, Passat, Golf, Golf GTI, and Golf R.
You can also close the “vent” just by pushing the button forward instead off pulling it down
Not all Tiguans have a sunroof mine doesn't.

That should be under warranty still. Take it to the dealership for service.

I worry one rock ding from a semi truck and it will have to be replaced
Should not be a concern for the sunroof.
