I just recently found out that depression is also tied to your gut and liver health! As someone who struggles with depression this brought me a lot of hope that I could do stuff physically to help heal along with things like therapy 🤍 Hope this brings hope to some of you as well ☀️ life gets better and you won’t always feel this way! You got it!
yeah it very important organ - I started a access to nursing course and learning about the human body and different systems and organs and the role they play in keeping our bodies in balance is amazing awesome and incredible. when learning about the digestive system you become much more aware of what you eat and drink especially fizzy juices and foods with excessive sugar and processed foods
What you are saying is true! I suffered from severe depression for 17 years and intense mood swing and then I learned something that changed my life: that sugar destroy our protection wall in the gut and the fibre do the opposite. So if you eat too much sugar and few fibres ( Like I was doing),it leads to leaky gut ( the junk in the gut leaks in the bloodstream which causes inflamation). And this kind of inflamation can cause depression, bipolar symptomes ect. Since I cut out sugar from my diet and added fibres( mostly from vegetables), I feel so much better in my head: it's day and night!! 😀
💩 dairy is a huge trigger for my gut! I’ve always had a super sensitive stomach and I’ve always had depression issues but until I started watching your videos I never put the two together so thank you for enlightening me to the connection!
I'm so glad that I watched this video today. I've been low carb for almost a year and Ive hit a weight loss plateau. I definitely need to start bringing back some healthy carbs and more fiber into my diet. My digestion hasn't been the best because I've been cutting things out and replacing them with processed foods.
oh I am so glad you found it and it was helpful! Yes 100% - I did that for a long tine too and felt so much better once I started bringing them back in!
Have had digestion issues since i was a child. I stay away from daily and sodium. But having depression and eating foods i normally dont eat has messed up my stomach. Bloat battle. Your videos are always inspiring n motivating thank you❤
I can’t wait to try this nutrition plan. I’m well aware that a lot of foods exacerbate my anxiety and panic attacks. Sugars, whether real or fake have had a huge impact on this for 😮most of my life. 💩 My biggest trigger foods were high sodium & sugar makes me VERY gassy😢
Omg yes!! Most people don't realize the impact foods can have on our mental health/hormones but it is huge!! So happy you're going to do it with me! xo
I did Whole30 for the month of January. It really helped. It takes out things that cause me gas, bloating, and causes my skin to have breakouts. That includes, for me, dairy, added sugar, and beans. I took a week off, and had some dairy and added sugar. My gut is not happy with me. I also have a “smell” coming from my body. The dairy and sugar causes me to have BO. I am back on Whole30. I am going to continue Whole30 until March. After that, I will continue about 90% Whole30, occasional treats here and there.
I love your What I Eat In A Day videos! Carbs like rice, pasta, bread, regular potatoes make me feel bloated but sweet potatoes don't. I'm new with pcos & researching into it I've found that a lot of carbs are not great for people with pcos. Any tips for still maintaining carbs in a PCOS lifestyle?
I’m on my weight loss/fit mom journey also! I love watching you & other fitness creators! It inspired me to start a channel and share my journey on TH-cam also! I’ve recently found a recipe for high protein Greek yogurt bagels & tortillas & it’s a game changer to meet my protein goals! I definitely cut out most veggies🙈💩💩
💩 my foods that i know i cannot have are diary and gluten, but as ive grown in my journey of true gut health and overall health i have noticed the benefits of really knowing what foods can do and how they react with your body. im a nerd for this stuff, and this year is the year of getting rid of all toxic products and replacing them with good for you products, in all aspects of health (food, body, cleaning, etc). whoop whoop!! so here for this challenge!! much love LSF community!! lets rock it!! 🤍💪🏼
💩💩💩💩lol I am so grateful for this video; I have really been on a journey myself in improving gut health, and bloating has been a huge area of focus for me. Bloating for me has mainly been caused by cruciferous veggies; so I currently have narrowed raw veggies I consumer down to carrots, mushrooms, tomatoe, iceberg/romaine lettuce, asparagus, and cucumber. It has been a game changer eliminating the cruciferous, in addition to the portions of what I am currently consuming veggies wise. I also have been consuming much more probiotic natural foods; mainly the non fat greek yogurt right now; but I do love sauerkreut as well. Thank you so much for sharing this.
the last couple days I've been having museli with greek yogurt adding goji berries and banana and tea spoon of lemon curd just adds that zesty pop its delicious combination and sometimes have for after dinner.
Just wanted to thank you sooo much for all your awesome content. I found your channel through a 5 min ab video on Popsugar. After seeing how many quality workouts you had on your channel, I decided to check out your app. Love it! My favorite thing is that you outline what body parts to work on each day. It makes it super easy and feel doable. The scale hasn’t moved but I’ve lost inches. Thanks for all the info you share. ❤

Antinflamatory diet is the best for me to my gut and will be the diet of our future. 90% I eat veggies, fruit, high protein and eliminate gluten, casein and processed foods..
I find that i get the most bloated when it’s that time of the month! I also stoped weighing myself when I am on my period because I noticed i would gain weight but once I was done the weight I gained went away! And I thought it was bloating but now I don’t think so bc doesn’t bloating end the next day then your back to the weight you lost? I’m just wondering what that might be and how I can fix it bc I wanna lose weight but when ever i eat little the weight just comes back and I’m tired of that!!?💕💕

Oh yes I feel you on that!! So I really only eat fermented cabbage because it can help reduce bloating and purple cabbage is also better for reducing it as well. xo
I am on a new antidepressant, and a hypo girl, and I have never felt better depression wise, but I'm so so so constipated 😢 I drink so much water and eat lots of veg and a serving of fruit. Just found out that that's common amongst sweedish heritage.
I have hypothyroidism and depression I'm not sure if I have any sensitivities I'm always bloated though and depressed and sluggish maybe you can help me I just found your channel not that long ago and I've commented a few times and I appreciate your videos thank you
