RV STICKERS, SWOOPS AND STRIPES??? WHY SO MANY?

- After 2 years of looking at all the stripes, swoops and stickers on the Ekko we decided it was time... time to get her naked... or as they call it DeBadged!

Ekko looks great without the stickers. One of the first things Terry does when we get something-remove stickers.
Your Ekko looks so much sleeker without those decals. One thing I love about my Ontour is that it came without all of the graphics and just looks more elegant that way.

No, that was a friendly jumping spider. They come in multiple colors, and friendly.
Well crap... wish I'd known that. Lynn says there are 3 kind of spiders... ones you can't see, ones you run from and ones that wish they had bet seen you.
they're my favorite. In the spring you can catch them having turkish style wrestling contests for territory. They get to be about the size of a quarter.
Leave the little triangles and Eko
I like it with the stripes off and I would leave the triangles on. I agree that I would take off the “EKKO” on the sides and leave only the one on the back. But yes, it is your decision as the owner to do what you like.
Our new fifth wheel should be here within the next week. I plan to remove way more instructional stickers and warnings that what we’ve left on our current TT. I’ll leave them on there for the next owner to decide what to do with.

Keep the EKKO logos on all sides get rid of the triangles.
looks great! We have a garage full of things that we have pulled out but saving for the next owner. We got it to use not just look at. Happy tails and safe travels.
I really like it without all the decals. It actually looks like a more rugged 4x4 RV, instead of being saturated with decals that would eventually start peeling off anyways someday. I don't know about removing those EKKO logos - depends on how they're attached, glue, holes underneath, etc.?
If you have the time I'd remove the triangles but leave the side EKKOs.
Looks much better! As you might remember Doug took all of our stripes and badging off the first year we had our Hymer van. Glad you took the little ones off since they would start to peel eventually anyway. If anything it gave you and Lynn a project to do in the sunshine. 😊😊

We think it looks better without stickers! Like you said they will get damaged anyway. If you can reuse the ekko letters they might look good in a different location on the side.
I like it without! When/if we order one it will be without the decals.

Love it without the strips and decals. Not sure why manufacturers think striping and decals are a good thing. I took off all the stickers and badging off my van. I did leave the RIZE on but only because it blends with the paint. Maybe paint the EKKO the color of the van?
Much more aggressive look. I like it. If I had one would do the same.

Yes, it looks great. Without the stripes the little triangles I would leave just to accent the back up. That’s my opinion. Looks great though doing a great job.

Please make a video on how you caulk the van. Looks great! We are looking at purchasing a small Class C. My husband would like to buy used. Any thoughts? Used price wise is almost as much as new. I am stuck..there are 3 that we like. I really like the Coachman 230FS. Also Considering the Jayco 24' with the large slide. Thor also makes a model similar to the Jayco. Would love some advice. I would take the triangles off the name. It wouldn't bother me, but it sure turned out great, technically if it is wider than the stock van body it is a C, B+ is just a marketing term someone came up with :-)

We left the small triangles on for a few days and decided to take them off too, I do like it a lot better, We will also take the side Ekko badges off at some point.
It looks cleaner and more defined.
We don’t have any decals, but my husband replaced the chrome sprinter logo on the grill with a flat black one to match the grill. He hates any bling. On our previous 5th wheel, the decals started peeling. It looked awful. Talk about making a camper look old before its time! The cleaner, the better. Looks great.
Same with my travel trailer - on what is otherwise a well built RV are cheap, peeling, disintegrating decals! I even had the front one replaced while the trailer was still under warranty, that's how bad they are. 😠
Leave all Ekko.

Ours is coming with graphics deleted. Checking to see if we can get the gray paint on box,too. Looks kinda like a SWAT van, but I think it’ll be pretty.
We love the seat van look too. Don't tell Lynn but Lowe's sells spray paint. 😂😂👍
That was not a black widow. It was a jumping spider. They are harmless and beneficial to the environment around us. They eat mosquitoes and flies 😞

We ordered ours without the striping, etc. It did come with the 3 EKKOs which we left. The decals, wherever they are, will fade and crack and leave shadowing. Take all the decals off before it gets harder!

The spider was not a black widow but a harmless jumping spider. They are very intelligent and have excellent vision. Black widows pretty much stay in their webs all the time.

Our EKKO doesn’t have the decals as we ordered it that way. I think I will leave the EKKO badges on the sides and rear as it doesn’t bother me. Also to better ID it since there more copy cats trying to look like the EKKO and for resale too. Are you considering taking the “W” off the cab too?
Yes. That W might go. Lynn says no but she said Jo at first to debadging the sides too. Are you thinking of getting rid of the W?

We ordered our Ekko with no decals. We like it! The fifth wheel we had, the decals peeled off from the sun. The peeling letters made it look old. That was why we chose to go without the decals. We have a 21/22 and love it! We had all our caulk replaced last month.
Haven't finished the caulk job yet but it looks like it's going to take me several hours. Does it look better?
Looking good… We bought ours naked…? I mean without any stripes. I like the EKKO on the sides and back. If they come off on their own, that’s when I’ll sit and decide of they go back on.

Looks much better without. I've been debadging my cars for decades. I hate the RV swoops and zig zags. I'm soon ordering an Embassy Dolphin, the guy who builds them says he hates RV swoops and such and calls them stupid. He is brave because he is in Elkhart and everyone around him makes rvs with swoops lol you did the right thing... I love your videos. You are very genuine unlike a lot of TH-camrs. Please don't change.
Embassy is a great choice. We will not change for sure and appreciate your kind words and support. TH-cam is a crazy place and fake/non-real deal gets tons more views and $$ but it's just not us. If you can't be real then just don't be is our plan. Thanks for loving us as we are.

How does that affect the resale value?
We won't know until we sell it. But our thoughts are that since many order them without the decals anyway and we think they look better and cleaner without them then it should actually help the resale value. But I guess it depends on if the person wanted to buy with the decals on or off. As far as how it looks, you can't really tell they were ever on there.

Took a bit of time. Not hard work but meticulous to get all the little triangles off.
I debadged my Revel then the Solis Pocket, like it much better. Also yes to major mods to make it “my own”
We agree. So how do you like the Pocket Solis compared to the Revel?
