@@yana-l2e I've been in situations where I had $14 to last two weeks. I've never stolen anything from anyone. It's a moral decision. There are many other ways to manage in our society and theft is a lazy way out of money troubles, because it rarely works and never lasts long.
The thing with the first person, I can guarantee that wasn't her first time. Each time someone gives her a pass, she learns zero life lessons. She needs a little trip to County.
$500, and I'm certain that wasn't her first rodeo? No, she needs a medium length stay with the State. The first time long ago was when a little trip to County was warranted.
The kicker is that the employer likely won't say anything to a next employer if they are referenced... because the employee could likely sue for defamation and it would cost the employer more money in the long run to price they weren't making defamatory statements.
@@noreenelizabeth6617ahhh but is not defamatory if it’s true. If she sued all the owner would have to do is show the vid of her stealing and the 2nd of her admitting it. She would get nothing!
The parents asking for him to bring HIS parents to the "date" and then "Priyanka" just up and leaving when the dad was done were HUGE red flags. Like, girl, I realize you're in an Indian family. But you're still a grown ass woman. You don't belong to your father, if you want to go on a date and see if you're compatible with someone, you can't bring your parents into the equation 1)without telling the dude or 2) on the 1st date AT ALL. Like if that's a thing culturally, that your family does, let it be on a later date. Like maybe the 3rd? MAYBE.
I don't know if they were in India or somewhere else, but old traditions die hard; they still kill girls who want to marry someone besides the arranged person. There is a man who helps couples who want to marry who they want. He hides them in a house until they can sneak them to another city. If they get caught it's curtains for everybody involved...
He really does; I feel bad for him. Then the devil on my shoulder says, “He’s being nice for the camera.” So I argue with myself but still, as always, conclude that I friggin *hate* thieves. Haaaate!
But then again, he filmed it and posted it on TikTok for some purpose, obviously he wouldn't act like an asshole on camera. Not saying he is one, just saying that of course he would want to present himself the best way possible.
@@Bethsabee_Sheba_NewroseI wouldn’t be surprised or blame him if he did decide to yell at her on camera because she would deserve it with her attitude.
The absolute audacity that she did after working there for a week like not that stealing $500 is okay but a week damn you might as well as just stole it on your first day 😂
Yes the manager should be able to see when they check drawers and cash audits. It’s very smart to always check cameras. I checked cameras one day to just show my boss how well an employee was doing. The level of embarrassment I felt when my boss noticed her miss entering a ticket but charging the table the original price. So she could pocket the difference for herself. The kicker is I would give out advances as long as you signed the document for it. Sometimes in extreme cases I would cover out of my own money. So she was just stealing to steal. Which is worse to me
As someone who’s worked those kind of cashier jobs, there is no way that it wouldn’t be noticed. Hell, you can’t take 5 bucks out without it being noticed. Once, when I was really broke & had no gas to get back home, I shortchanged the customers like 5 or 10 cents when I gave them back their change, that way I could be 1.50 over at the end of the day, which gave me enough gas to make it home. That’s how accurate the end of shift logs are. You can accidentally give back an extra dollar in change to a customer & it’ll show up on the log. To think you could take 500 is completely moronic.

To answer your question Miss Charlotte, no I would not reach out to anyone for a loyalty test. If I have suspicions, then I would speak directly with my girlfriend and share my concerns. Her reaction/response would determine the direction of our discussion and if I still had suspicions/doubts at the end then “I’m moving on” (Rascal Flats style 🎶 🎼). I no longer play games, or even tolerate them, in my relationships. I am not in need of people in my life (especially if they aren’t loyal) so I have no qualms about cutting ties and not looking back.
@@lisamelroy2855I agree! Idk why people run to publicize their personal business. If you can't trust your partner leave. It's truly that simple. Especially if you aren't married. Why trick them into a situation and do all these extracurricular activities. Seems like at that point they are addicted to drama if they think loyalty tests are the solution🤷🏽♀️
"Nawww, Bitch. RIGHT HERE. Lay it all out." I'd demand their phones to show proof of their "innocence" -- if you did nothing wrong, you've got nothing to hide. I'll apologize afterwards if I'm wrong. Otherwise, they can both move their shit into a Motel6 together down the road. They've got weekly rates.
I disagree, the slapping is uncalled for. No matter if she cheated or not, if the situation was reversed, it wouldn't be acceptable to him to slap her.
I unfortunately worked for a small family business where the soon-to-be daughter in law stole >$2000....she framed me for it (only taking after hours when I was the one who closed the till) and despite some strong evidence against me, I'm the one who got fired (she proceeded to steal several thousand after I left and she still works for them)
I worked for a pizza chain and one of the managers was stealing. I didn’t find out until later that she was trying to frame me for it. She tried to only steal when we were working together and she frequently made comments about how I needed money. She was older than me and took me under her wing and treated me almost like a little sister, but apparently she was only doing that so she could better frame me. Anyway, the area manager didn’t quite believe that I was the thief, so without telling me anything about the missing money, he offered me a transfer to another restaurant in town. It must’ve been suspicious that I was gone and money was still disappearing, though, because just a few months later guess who got transferred to the same store I was at. Of course, the same dynamic starts up again and I got transferred _again_ and a couple months later she followed me _again_ . By this point I was suspicious and felt like something weird was going on. After a year of working there, I got another job and left. I heard through the grapevine that the manager couldn’t help herself and kept stealing. Someone tipped her off that her bosses were compiling enough evidence against her to put her in prison and she abruptly quit and moved to the other side of the country. Rumor was that the local cops said that since she’s out of state they couldn’t do anything. Even though she’d been stealing from the company for 5+ years and had taken tens of thousands of dollars. Also, not long after she left, her boyfriend, who was a physician’s assistant, got busted because he was forging opioid prescriptions. He was the lynchpin in a fairly large operation that was selling pills. Birds of a feather, I guess.
@@cethinlux4038 luckily I got away from another similar situation before it led to the same thing. I hate thieves. No possibility of it happening now as I work from home and don't touch company money. I hope your situation improved also. Nobody should have to go through that.
I remember working at a sandwhich shop for two and half years, including while I was VERY pregnant. Up until literally three days before I was being induced pregnant. There was a girl there who kept snatching from the till - not lots of money, just a twenty or so here and there. But for months no one knew who was doing it. And for some reason, the owner - who wasn't consistently on site - couldn't be bothered to watch the security tape for those several months. And guess who everyone kept side eyeing as being blamed for this? ME. Why? Because I kept going to the back to snack on stuff off and on when we weren't busy, because I was f-ing pregnant lol. When the tapes were finally watched, they caught her snatching money, rolling a j on the desk in the back, and all kinds of nonsense.
They probably figured you weren't going to be back after the baby arrived so were siphoning off here and there while you could. Total BS! I worked at a couple sandwich shops too and they really didn't care about snacking on items throughout the day. It was a perk of the job, tbh. Our store manager couldn't say anything because she'd bring home sandwiches for her entire family at least once a week so didn't say anything about us munching on things here and there, out of view of the customers ofc
I had a similar situation a long time ago when I worked in fast food. It is not a comfortable spot to be in when everyone thinks you’re the one stealing the money from the till. I ended up quitting. Some months later, the girl who was stealing from the till, who had since been promoted to assistant manager, got caught trying to break into the safe after hours.🙄
The editing and clip placement is so on point and hilarious 👌🏼 "I DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE YELLING" That poor young lady losing her BF and BFF on her birthday. Cheaters, thieves, scammers and criminals over all don’t understand that it’s the lying and deceiving that hurts people like this great employer. Man, where’s his gas station at? About to apply for that job. 4:31
When I worked at a grocery store there was a girl named Felicia (IRONICALLY) would tell me her register wasn't working and asked me to switch with her and other employees. I was young and dumb, so I didn't exactly know what she was doing. The next day I found out she got fired for stealing money from all the registers, getting caught on camera and remembered her crying to try to keep her job. Lmao I dislike the company too but, stealing isn't going to get you that far in life babe.
A business owner will know their average daily takings, if it’s $500 lower, that will instantly make them check their cameras just to make sure if it was theft or an unusually slower day. Also being a new employee the boss will be checking if they’re doing everything right all round. The editing in these videos is top quality and, more often than not, adds to the comedic effect. Well done Charlotte you’ve made yourself a winning team, keep soaring.
It's not even that. The computer will say how much was made in cash and deposits. He has to count the money deposited in the safe before going to drop it off at the bank so even if he hadn't checked the cameras, he'd have immediately realized that there was $500 missing.
Between these 2, that is 100% how it is done. Anecdote: The cash count was totally off one day when I closed up at Radio Shack and I had to do the bank deposit because my manager decided to take the evening off by being a no show and ignoring his phone (I get it, we were the only 2 employees and the hiring manager refused to hire anyone else bc she didn't like him). I had already put in my notice(which HQ had "refused"), I knew I hadn't stolen anything, I figured he had stuck something in the safe and forgot to note it in the computer. I did the drop with the incorrect amount and went home after my surprise 12/13 hour shift. The next day, I arrive and he told me corporate had already called and told him to fire me. He had saved my job and I just asked "Why?" I was NOT surprised when Radio Shack went bankrupt...

I was under the impression that the questioning started after they first sat down. They probably blew out of their before the wait staff even came over with menus... Food wasn't mentioned, was it?
Honestly they seem arenaged marriage Old school parents. It's the girl's fault. Like why tf would you bring your parents on a date that's not for arrange marriage setting. That too he is unaware of everything 😅
I had a boss who let me use the company truck for almost a month while my car was getting fixed. Put 30 miles from home to work. 60 miles a day. But he needed me as an employee and I needed him as an employer. Very cool boss.
The first story is a good example of people who squander the chances given to them. She probably put more effort into figuring out how to steal that $500 than she did her actual job. Don't say you need the money while stealing from people and don't expect them to feel comfortable or trust you again. You steal, cheat, or lie, and all trust is gone.
As a small business owner this man handled this situation perfectly. I’ve been in this same position and it totally sucks. You actually feel more hurt that they do that to you. But seriously the fact that she shows up the next day and wants to keep her job is absolutely NO surprise. People suck Thank you Charlotte for all you do and for making us smile
I had it happen twice. It fxckin HURTS. You take chances on ppl and they just gut you. Btw... I paid more than the average employer in my field and they made their own hours. I'm still baffled.
@@PigeonFluff we do the same. We pay the highest rate around for what we do and these guys take advantage all the time. I know exactly what you mean. Damn that gas station manager is being so patient with her and telling her if she needed help all she had to do was ask and he would have helped her. That’s a very good boss.
I work at a bank. When I first started there, my boss told me “The best way to not be tempted to steal money is to think of it as inventory.” I was never tempted to steal anyway, but that…and the fact I know how disgusting money actually is…and my ethics, I never wanted to steal money. Even those days putting cash shipments together that would more than buy a house.
I always think of it as debits that, at dayend, need to equal credits, and I'm a bit of an accuracy freak so I hate to not balance. The cash I've handled in any of my jobs (at times, huge amounts), has no value to me personally as it's not my own earnings. Why some people think they have the right to help themselves to money or things that don't belong to them is incomprehensible to me.
I worked in a hotel for many many years at the front desk. There was sometimes a revolving door of different managers. It was a Cash hotel, so sometimes we had a lot of prostitutes. I caught the manager stealing money from a cash paying guest she was an Asian prostitute, who did not speak any English. He literally pocketed the money and charged her room to an on file credit card. I reported it, but that wasn’t even when he got fired. It just so happened he also “ lost” 2 deposits. He tried to blame me and my coworker but we’ve been doing the banking there for over five years and never lost a deposit
In regards to the first part, let me just say that there is NO GOOD REASON TO STEAL FROM OTHERS! Period. I don't care how "tough it is out there" there is no reason to take what isn't yours....then to have the entitlement to think you still deserve your job? Hell no. This guy was a lot more polite than I would have been.
As a gas station worker veteran, the way safe drops work is this: We are only allowed a certain money amount in the drawer (robbery precaution), so we count out the extra cash over our limit, write it on a slip with our name, and put it with the cash into the safe. It accounts for profits and serves as a paper trail of where money went and how much. Managers count what's in the safe and match it to the records.
I worked with a company that hires ex cons with no questions asked as long as they can do the job, learn and have a personality for people. They were anti stealing, the system was so precise that it would be so easy to see if you stole. There was actually no point in stealing cos the company gave out loans as well as advances if you were in need. If bills popped up or something. You could get money. No need to steal. I'm so halthe company helps people who have been in the system get work and work up the ladder.
I would LOVE to support companies like this! Any advice how to identify them? Also, that makes me think of a septic pumping business owner I watch on YT. That guy ROCKS, as well 🤩🥰
The jacket u are wearing for this video is just like a shell suit top I had as a child in the 80’s !I loved that suit 😂.The garage owner was so nice and understanding wish more bosses were like him.
I knew a guy that caught his employee stealing money. A lot of money. He had a talk with her and she agreed to pay it back if she could keep her job. He said ok. And every pay day he took a chunk of it as payback. The second he broke even he fired her.
I don’t know 100% if it was the best decision based on her reaction, but I do appreciate someone who can take the higher road and offer a way to make things right without involving authorities. That would have indeed ruined their life😅
Most employers dont go down legal routes for smaller sums of money. Costs too much in time and its easier to just sack the staff member, dock their pay or just get them to return it and move on. I work with money and ive seen too many staff get sacked for theft of anything from £3 up to £200. The guy that took £200 was told he can either walk away or they will call the police. Guy just turned and walked off. Company just altered working hours to get the cash back through that and no more was heard. Likely costs more in hourly wages for security and management staff to deal with legal precedings or police contact than the theft is worth.
@@perfectlyimperfect9129I mean the consequence is to fire them. Authorities don’t need to be involved in every little thing. Also they don’t really do much for theft under $1000. They have other priorities. Those reports usually go into a pile that never gets addressed.
"...That would have indeed ruined their life..." Nooooo...what she DID would have ruined her life. She chose to steal and therefore she chose, knowingly or not, to accept the consequences of her actions should she be caught. She got caught and an arrest is one of the consequences. If that consequence could and/or would ruin her life, then it was HER CHOICE to ruin her life because SHE CHOSE to steal.
I feel for the first guy. A few years ago I owned a candle shop. We made our own and did gift baskets etc. I had an employee (she'd been with us about 3 mos) who's husband got laid off and they had 2 children under 4. Being the kind person I am, she asked if she could have an advance to pay her gas bill and I had her bring it in and went and paid it and gave them an additional amount toward the next bill (It was winter and they had gas heat). Then I went to the water co and paid her water bill which she did not ask me to do but knew I did it because I brought her back the receipt. Then I told her my husband and I appreciated her and gave her regular pay check to her without taking anything out and told her it was a gift. I had been where she was and when she was able to just pay it forward to someone else. 2 months later we were out of town for a week for a funeral. While we were gone she stole $10k in merchandise from us and 2 days bank deposits.

Charlotte's videos have been always the highlight of my days. This morning I got the call from my dad that our dog of 15 years passed away last night and I needed something to put a smile on my face
Oh my goodness 😢☹️😔. I’m so very sorry for your loss. As a person who loves and adores animals more than I can even tolerate humans, this type of loss for me is completely devastating and heartbreaking. I consider them my immediate family members. Sending love, hugs, and healing from the Jersey Shore ❤🤗❤️🩹.
The first story hurt my heart, because I'm a retail manager... That guy is so kind through the whole situation, and now he's the one that's gonna be in the frying pan over it. Lots of love to him. Very professional person.
Charlotte, you are expecting a sense of shame (embarrassment) from people who have no concept of shame on a personal level - they think others should feel shame but never themselves because, as she said "I really need..." Their "need" outweighs any other decent sense
I had a similar situation happened to a coworker of mine a while back. Long and short of it was that this employee was struggling (we all had our hours cut so it wasn't just them) and they ended up stealing from the tills and are banned from work in retail again. The problem was that another one of our coworkers knew this person's situation and offered to help in multiple ways! There are other options! Yeah it seems like "easy money" but it's not worht it!
All I know is I’d rather sit at home in my pjs still fighting off yesterdays food coma to wait on Charlotte’s daily upload of petty perfection on Black Friday than be out shopping! ❤❤❤❤❤

For the parents on the first date one, I would have straight up said hello then turned around and walked right out after explaining my uncomfort with the situation
The first story reminded me of the time i started working for this place and I had to be trained, the person training me ended up stealing... they asked me about it and I was clueless. So after that we had to have our bags searched so she made us leave a bit later from then on.

The date story, I can see why the girl he went out on a sort of date is still single. I can't imagine any man would want to go through that on a first date, no matter how "hot" the date is. People please remember when going on a first date, don't bring your parents along. If that happened to me I'd probably lie by saying I don't feel well and walk out.
9:30 lol, I met a dude going up an elevator. He had to let me know he was a TTer. I was like that is cool, he is like what do you do. I told him code. That first story needs to be on the news or some thing because he is an exemplary boss and the way he handled that situation was impeccable and I think a lot of people could learn from someone like him. If I were in the job market, I would definitely want a boss like him, and I would respect him wholeheartedly because he’s the type of person you would want to work hard for and there are plenty of people out there who would have had the cops there already and not cared about her situation whatsoever or even given her the time a day to talk to her like a human being. Big big respect to this man and I hope that he hires a great clerk next time.

@UTubeHandlesSuck unfortunately $500 is a misdemeanor.
@@noreenelizabeth6617ahhh but is not defamatory if it’s true. If she sued all the owner would have to do is show the vid of her stealing and the 2nd of her admitting it. She would get nothing!

The date story triggered my worst fears.
You do NOT bring your parents on your first date. It's a DATE not an arranged marriage. Geez. 😮
MAYBE.
I think they found out she was going for a date so they came with her. Some indian parents are crazy.
I don't know if they were in India or somewhere else, but old traditions die hard; they still kill girls who want to marry someone besides the arranged person. There is a man who helps couples who want to marry who they want. He hides them in a house until they can sneak them to another city. If they get caught it's curtains for everybody involved...
@@nom-nomnami1743I believe they would be middle eastern as the tik toker said his parents were in Dubai and referred to “priyankas”dad as “uncle”

I wonder if she stole other days but wasn't noticed before then.

She is exactly like sssniperwolf sealing content from small creators and reacting to them 🤔😭😭
She probably did steal on every shift. Her method of stealing was too well orchestrated. Definitely not her first or last time.
Which is worse to me
That's so generous to take money from your own pocket. Maybe I'm naive but I don't know too many places of employment that give advances!
She came back to work because she assumed she could siphon more money from him over a period of time.
It's really sad. Most employers or people would help out if they were asked.

I've worked at two places where employees were dumb enough to steal. One was simply sacked and the other was charged and arrested.
@cethinlux4038 same happened to me but the owner didn't know, had us all take polygraphs and all passed and still fired me.
@@feliciasisk494 hey at least you aren't in that environment anymore, I hope life has gotten better for you!
The AUDACITY to put blame on anyone without even bothering to watch tapes that are literally right there.... Omg. Who does that?

He had saved my job and I just asked "Why?"
I was NOT surprised when Radio Shack went bankrupt...

The first story is a good example of people who squander the chances given to them.
She probably put more effort into figuring out how to steal that $500 than she did her actual job.

Damn that gas station manager is being so patient with her and telling her if she needed help all she had to do was ask and he would have helped her. That’s a very good boss.
Money can always be earned back, material things can be replaced BUT breaking trust is hard to earn back and replaced.some people just don't get that.
For the first story, more than likely he noticed money missing so he checked the cameras
As a gas station worker veteran, the way safe drops work is this:
We are only allowed a certain money amount in the drawer (robbery precaution), so we count out the extra cash over our limit, write it on a slip with our name, and put it with the cash into the safe. It accounts for profits and serves as a paper trail of where money went and how much. Managers count what's in the safe and match it to the records.
That happened to my brother on a first date. He got there and the woman's mother was there. She introduced him and he said hi, and walked away.😂
That's awesome

That's exactly why people keep doing things that they know they Shouldn't be doing there are no consequences for their terrible actions !!
@@ExaltedwithFailYou think five hundred dollars is a small amount !!
@@perfectlyimperfect9129I mean the consequence is to fire them. Authorities don’t need to be involved in every little thing. Also they don’t really do much for theft under $1000. They have other priorities. Those reports usually go into a pile that never gets addressed.
"...That would have indeed ruined their life..."
Nooooo...what she DID would have ruined her life.

Hopefully your shopping experience isn’t too stressful since it is Black Friday (if you live in the States). 💗
Thanks for the well wishes guys! I started shopping at 9:00 a.m. so the Black Friday shoppers are taking a nap 😂 it was actually pretty empty in the stores. Now it's Charlotte time!!!
I cannot believe how patient and calm the first gentleman was with his employee, he's far more level headed person than me.
Happy Friday petty potatoes! Can't start my day without Charlotte and some shits and giggles 😂❤ have a great weekend everyone!
That handsome Indian gentleman is super cute and funny! I loved his portion of the video especially his sense of humor woven throughout his good storytelling ability. It's too bad he probably lives in a city somewhere far from my location! 😅🤭
I love seeing you face everyday u honestly help with my depression making me remember to just laught at life but to also be kind to everyone around. I love you!!!❤❤❤❤❤
A top tip that helped me get rid of depression, like you watching Charlotte, take the time to appreciate the small things and think about what you’re grateful for each day 😊❤
Yesss!! I count the good things, name them one by one 😊
Hope your Holidays are going great! I love the changing background color. I think "mood" lighting is a good vibe for the show! Much love, and Happy New Year!
I'm gonna make Charlotte's "ARE YOU NOT EMBARRASED?!" my morning alarm for when I've snoozed to long...
I like her absolutely not! For an alarm, that would be good if you are pushing that snooze, eh?
Omg that's genius! @@jenniferbond7073
I DONT KNOW WHAT WE’RE YELLING ABOUT!!!! Lol 😂
chefs kiss editing! 👌
I can’t stand yell talking!? I could barely understand her at times
its literally 10.30 pm here i have an exam tomorrow and im up watching you
Goodluck with your exam :D
Good luck with your exam!
Charlotte is your good luck unicorn and now you're going to ace it 🎉
I also have an exam tomorrow, send me some luck and I’ll send you some too😭
Priorities 💪🏼💪🏼😂😂
Okay the high-pitched screaming I could do without, blondie 😂
3:24 I used to work retail as well as other cash heavy businesses. The number of people who think that they can steal cash from work and still keep their job is shocking to me.
I've known dozen different people who were surprised they got fired for stealing. WTF!?!
That store owner, so nice, so calm. It's the good people that get taken advantage of. I know of an amazing boss that had similar things happen. But her heart couldn't do anything other than set a standard most can't hope to grasp at. She's a inspiration, much like dude man. I hope they never change, just get a little better at gaging the undeserving.😅❤
He was like that’s cool, and then spent the next few minutes telling me all about him being a TTer, making videos, big agent meetings. I just smiled like “cool”. I think he expected me to be more impressed. I wasn’t.
My favorite part of the day is when I get to sit down and watch a Charlotte video 😊
Zockr is such a great storyteller 🤣
If you feel that you need to do a loyalty test, it's over. Doesn't matter if there is cheating or not.
True. If there isn't trust, it isn't a real romantic relationship.
My ex boyfriend was pocketing money at his job…. They knew. But they waited until he stole enough to get him arrested! 😂 And then a girlfriend of mine was working at a pharmacy and was taking pills on the side. Again!-They knew! And waiting for her to rack up a bigger charge! So… just because you think you’re getting away with it… YOU’RE NOT! And even if your employer doesn’t find out… KARMA NEVER MISSES.
Absolutely love the new background colors! ❤
Who else has been OBSESSED with Charlotte's videos lately❤❤
That first story needs to be on the news or some thing because he is an exemplary boss and the way he handled that situation was impeccable and I think a lot of people could learn from someone like him. If I were in the job market, I would definitely want a boss like him, and I would respect him wholeheartedly because he’s the type of person you would want to work hard for and there are plenty of people out there who would have had the cops there already and not cared about her situation whatsoever or even given her the time a day to talk to her like a human being. Big big respect to this man and I hope that he hires a great clerk next time.
The last video deserved more time i had to rewatch it cuz oh geeeez
I have recently become a fan. I've been watching so many of your videos during my pregnancy, my bump responds when he hears your voice. 😅 Thinking about making him a build a bear that has a sound bite of you saying "Absolutely Not" and another for "How are you not EMBARRASSED!!?!"
Love you and your videos!
Who else recently discovered Charlotte and is OBSESSED🎉
It’s been two years and I’m still obsessed!😉
