Reminds me of when Shuhua had to perform when she literally couldn't breathe, collapsed on stage, and needed an oxygen tank after. CUBE could've just let the rest of them perform without her.
I recall last fall's Sky Festival, Wheein of Mamamoo got ash or sparks or something in her eye from the fireworks. You could obviously see she was injured, but she finished the song and had to immediately leave after that.
CL face planting on stage cause of the rain was crazy back then. She sprained two fingers, they had to be taped together 😢 Seungyoon from Kara tripping at inkigayo was big too cause it was shocking
K-pop and pop idols should be protected from stage accidents. It's the fact that there is no to little protection from falls, or water spiliages or other dangerous things, like fireworks.
That 2 clips were from Gfriend shows how hard they worked cause they were from a small company. Its generall so sad to see Idols faint or fall on stage.
The RV Happiness clip, I believe it was actually an IEM malfunction. if you slow down that clip and watch frame by frame, you can see the sparks coming from her right ear. She proceeds to fall on the floor rubbing her ear, and throw smth to the ground, again the sparks are visible.
I remember being at a concert and the pyro behind the drummer nearly sucked in a curtain. It missed only by a few inches and they took a short break after that number so the roadies could fix ALL of the curtains and banners. For some seriously dangerous looking shows, watch a live show from Rammstein, the pyro is insane and all of the band members wear flame retardant. Not kidding on that.
In Rammstein is Till the singer the one who sets up their pyrotechnic he has taken the license for pyrotechnic, and he also keeps close watch on the other members where they are and signalling them if they are to close. I have learned this from fans to the group in other reaction videos with Rammstein. Have seen a couple of different artists getting pyrotechnic on them and getting hurt, one of the most known is Michael Jackson injury when filming for a commercial, he got burned on his head and hair. Have seen many kpop artists fall on stage because of the rain both Shinee and BTS have taken a short break and wiped off the stage where they dance with towels, that is them who’s are doing it. Fainting are another thing that has happened a lot both males and females have fainted. They work a lot and are on diets that they don’t need, they have dance practice for hours some do other trainings to, I have never found a good reason for them to be restricted and are expected to be on a diet. With so many different activities they are doing it really doesn’t make sense. The agency’s should prioritise that they get all the nutrients they need to stay healthy.
It's awfully saddening too that most of these are caused by unnecessarily strict dieting and poor management of their schedules. I hope kpop has better working conditions these days for the sake of their artists.
But also were you watching? It's caused by the people behind these broadcasting stations and companies as well they don't seem to care about the idols safety at all.
I read somewhere when idols are active and promoting they sleep at max 3 hours and that's just... grueling. I didn't even sleep that little when I was in uni and prepping for my thesis.
It was a mirror that fell on the group called Mirror. It injured several members, and one I think was in a coma for a short time because of it. It's honestly terrifying.
after being rushed to the hospital, yeonjung decided to keep on performing. And WJSN performed close to being barefoot. every time I see the video I am very sad😢
I know it's not exactly kpop, but one incident happened somewhere on stage a giant monitor and hurt some back up dancers I think, nearly hitting the artists...that was terrible to see. Also, I remember Yoohyeon from Dreamcatcher slipping on a piece of cloth on the floor, it looked like she was very hurt, but luckily she laughed it off.
I think I saw that on stage where the monitor did fall on at least one of the dancers. That was not easy to watch on video much less in person much less for the person it actually happened to.
Why is health not a priority for these idols health and safety should always come before everything. I don't understand why they take pride in seeing these people at their breaking point and putting them on stage. The people in charge need to see this is clearly unhealthy and should take action before they cause more damage to themselves. Idols are young when they start in this crazy industry which means they are compliant with the company they don't want to make waves with the people in charge of them. Which is why when you clearly see someone who is in pain why don't they do anything about it??
It's not a first of a kind incident then why the hell does those agency try and prevent it....for money, how many more folks should suffer health-wise!
I don't remember if it was during rehearsal or performance but during twice TT era, momo almost fell off stage cause she was just so sleepy. Luckily, nayeon saw and saved her before she could fall off. There was another time during similar era (either cheer up or TT), the girls had so many schedules that they basically fell asleep on stage. Another time, not on-stage but during a variety show filming, fans spotted sana falling asleep in the middle of the filming when the focus wasn't on her. Anyone who still says twice are overworked in 2023 clearly haven't been looking at their schedules in detail. There is a reason why twice don't go on many variety shows anymore. They take basically a whole day to film and you only get like 10 min of screentime. Same for music shows, it takes almost a whole day to do with crazy amounts of standby time in-between. It's such a waste of time. If we compare korean music shows to say like music station in japan, m-sta only takes like maybe 6 hrs and not stupidly early in the morning. You arrive a little bit early for rehearsal, the show is aired live and then you leave. Many western artists who guest, tend to leave the show and go do another touristy activity afterwards, it shows there is time to spare. Edit: grammar
They didn't include the Ateez Kang Yeosang injury when he dislocated his finger during performance and he put it back to place and continued with the performance.
falling is really scary especially if they fainted and fall bcs they can't even try to control where their heads land. i fell once recently and hit my head the back of my head to the wall- i was so scared even though it didnt hurt outside i was so scared i didnt notice i was bleeding from my hand. head injury is no joke
Poor girls should take. A break better working conditions for performers should be a must we all love k pop but if it's at the risk of your favorite entertainer or group count me out, I can't live with that guilt 😭
Most idols don’t make much money. The company never paid Loona at all. Because of the way their contract was structured they literally went more into debt the more money the group made.
Wow, IU clip I haven't seen. Rare. Continuing to sing while s**t is going down always seemed like a weird reaction to me. If it's something minor, sure. Otherwise, just restart the song after the issue's dealt with.
Are they fainting because of lack of nutrition, i heard that some of the idols are forced to watch their weight and have to maintain a slim look and that’s not right you aren’t 17 forever people go eat something
OSSC ladies, pyrotechnics should be banned, just my opinion. I was at a performance and the singer came off stage and she walked to our table to shake my hand and since I'm left handed I always get stuck at the end of the table. I was surprised at how bright, almost blinding the lights they followed with were, I can see how they could fall off stage. I hope these ladies weren't fainting from not eating to stay thin.
@@FuryOfCalderon I would assume it was done by pros. Fire in an indoor event? We had an incident in the U.S. when a fire started and people lost their lives.

The Wendy incident is especially sad because it was Solar that found her and got her the help she needed, not staff

This reminds me of Heejun's fall during 'I Yah' at a concert, where he injured his back. It was so bad their comeback had to be postponed.
