    我不想 (Wǒ bù xiǎng) + Verb + (something) = to tell people that you don't want to do something. (Something) can be omitted
    我 (wǒ) = I
    不 (bù) = no/not
    想 (xiǎng) = to want to
    不想 (bù xiǎng) = don't want to
    我不想看书.
    Wǒ bù xiǎng kàn shū.
    I don't want to read a book.
    我不想吃香蕉.
    Wǒ bù xiǎng chī xiāngjiāo.
    I don't want to eat a banana.
    我不能 (wǒ bùnéng) + Verb + (something) = to tell people that you can't do something because something else is preventing you. It means "I can't do something." or "I'm not able to do something."
    It is a useful phrase to know if you want to "break the news easily."
    能 (néng) = "can" or "be able to"
    我不能 (wǒ bù néng) = "I can't" or "I'm not able to"
    我不能 睡觉.
    Wǒ bù néng shuì jiào.
    I can't go to sleep (because of an exam!).
    我不能看电影.
    Wǒ bù néng kàn diànyǐng.
    I can't go to see a movie (because I have to study for an exam!).
