  • Hey guys i hope you are all well and having a great day, Now alot of people have asked for another motor melt so i thought ide get this little fella out the way. So Nothing to fancy today just a simple Motor Melt today including some sandcasting where i do some Orc Tokens/coins and alien skull thingys. This little 22 Lb. motor is one of the smallest I've done but its still fun to melt down as everything added to the stack is always welcome. Want to help support the channel Simply donate some of your time just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻and like I always say if you like the rings shown and used in this video be sure to check out the description where you can get 20% off the already discounted rings using my code and if you want to try your hand at melting yourself you can buy the burner on its own or the whole furnace set up and I can organize a 5% link for you off the total furnace price just email me on bigstackddddd@mail.com 😁👍🏻.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it??????.
    ****************************************************
    STEEL FOR MY FRIEND
I keep all my steel and cast iron pieces and I give them to my friend and once he gets about a tonne from me and his own collecting he takes that to the scrapyard and sells it then he buys some beer and comes over to my house and we make a night of it.
No My friend doesn’t have a TH-cam channel he just scraps metal in his spare time.

I'm still trying to figure out why its so relaxing watching your videos, you tear things up, grind them, beat them to pieces, then heat them up to an ungodly high heat ( which is pretty loud), throw that shaped metal onto a big ice block finalizing it with throwing a big ass block on it!
    Must be the pups!
    Take care!

You should do a "monster melt" for X-mas and one for New Years too... 50 & 100 KG melts, respectively.

Both looked decent straight out of the molds. Of course they looked much better after sanding and polishing. Great job! ⭐

I've only been telling you to keep a torch over the freezing metal for like 3 years now. What you want to do is to close off the air holes in the torch neck so you get a big fat feathery flame that covers the copper ingot as it freezes. You could set up a stand to hold the torch. It will save you loads of time finishing out your copper. It will still be scabby, but a lot less.

Motor melts are my favorites! I think even my cat liked this one as he watched the entire time. Though he did hiss at the screen the moments Bullion and Ingot appeared.
