Cobb is great! My aunt used to live there and my parents are still in the area. Check out Gwinnett, too. It is one of the most diverse counties in the USA. Great schools, excellent business opportunities. Awesome parks and cultural museums--some that rival state parks. Love living in north GA/metro Atlanta! The main difference is that Cobb has the baseball fans and Gwinnett has the football fans since it is equidistant between UGA (Athens) and Atlanta. Also, Cobb/North Fulton have more established neighborhoods with fewer HOAs. While Gwinnett, has newer development (since 1996). Both are lovely 😍
Parts of Marietta is hood (Powder Springs Rd) and parts of it is upscale. East Cobb County is an upscale area people might want to take a look at. And Smyrna is nice as well, great vid.
I’ve lived and worked Cobb County for 26 years. I absolutely love it. I raised my kids here. It’s family friendly with great school systems, shopping, and restaurants. There is so much to do here.
I have a friend who loves in Marietta. I have been to Cobb County a few times but I need to explore it more. The only setback is a lack of transportation options; would be nice to catch a MARTA train from Cobb to ATL.
I live in Newton county "Covington Georgia" on 12 acres. It's a nice county not to urbanized it still has a small town feel and it's only 40mins east of downtown Atlanta.
I grew up in Cobb County Austell to be exact and I tell everyone that it is a great place to live and raise your kids, they have a great school system and plenty of activities to get your children involved in. Also its home to one of the best performing arts magnet school in the state Pebblebrook High School.
Cobb county is one of the Racist counties in Georgia. Couple years ago there was a huge issue with Racists protesting Black businesses in the area not wanting Blacks to have businesses there in Marietta. It made the news and I'm sure you can find it online. Kennesaw is probably even more Racist. I still love and support this Black channel though ✊🏾
The municipality named Mableton is also in Cobb County, GA. tt was not mentioned in the video. Mableton became its own city after a voter referendum passed in November 2022 to make it so. It was already in Cobb County and was already named Mableton, but it was unincorporated until the voters in Mableton voted for their town to become its own recognized ciry in the state of Georgia, as mentioned above.

Just like Gwinnett, they're very racist, & will not allow MARTA. Hmmm guess they'll forever enjoy their traffic jams.
Yes I'm loving what I'm Hearing
Kennesaw in the house 🎉👊🏽

I was JUST looking at Peachtree City but the diversity wasn't what I wanted. This has now put a bug in my ear....
Good luck and Godspeed with finding your next home 🙏🏽
