The Catholic church was formed for one and only purpose, to destroy the true church formed on the day of Pentecost. The Catholic Church is simply a resurrection of the old Roman Empire which collapsed in the face of the true church. Because they couldn’t destroy the church of God through violence, they adopted a different strategy: that’s to become part of us in order to pervert it with their idolatry traditions. Very disappointed that Sam who is very knowledgeable in scripture is actually validating what catholics are doing. They’re all not evil because most of them are innocent not knowing that their religion is of the devil. We just have to win them over to Christ.

He has a lot of knowledge. And I believe he is a great man of faith who truly loves Jesus and serves him with so much passion. But in this video, he is a bully. And in many of his videos, he is very rude, belittling and unkind in the way he talks to people. He is not speaking with love. According to Acts 11:26, the disciples were first called Christians possibly because their life and character exemplified Christ. The Christians didn’t call themselves that because they dare not call themselves Christlike. No matter how holy and good they were, they never tried to call themselves Christ but the people called them that as a way to identify, laugh and mock at them. They were a laughing stock and were abused and killed for his name’s sake. That term was possibly coined by the haters to humiliate them but it was the greatest honour for the disciples to be called by His name even though they never ask for it. They weren’t called Christians to praise them but rather to identify them and persecute them so Peter was admonishing them that even if you suffer for being called and abused as a Christian, glorify God for that. So Abraham knew about the promise of his coming, wished he had witnessed it but was told it’s a long time to come but he along with many believers saw it afar off according to Hebrews 11:13, but they did believe and embraced it and even call themselves strangers because they look forward to the new Jerusalem. He didn’t say, and he saw me, but he said he saw IT. Meaning Abraham saw his coming and the work he will do on earth. He even saw his death and resurrection because the test to sacrifice Isaac was a symbol of Christ. The bible as in the letters of the apostles, and the tora , was confirmed by the church, the scriptures are and were authoritative already. The church did not give authority to the scriptures. Thats blasphemy . The scriptures were confirmed by the church, there is a massive difference. The church is not God , only God gives authority to the His word. Why is there such a need to make the church into a god, just like the pharasees did, they came with their own traditions , there own books and only they had some special ability or knowledge to interpret the tora, why do we keep going back to this, they also believed if they did not do the interpreting, then God would struggle to keep His word preserved, why do we need synergism all the time, why do we need to help God out, is His work not enough, so we need to help Him . They are all across the world, in no denominations and in various denominations, both dead and alive. Jesus will present this church (not made by hand), to himself one day. It is a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle. Maybe some Catholics are in it. Let’s hope. The Catholic church that has a physical building, is a manmade religion, filled with paganism and vain repetitions and rituals. They have the word catholic in their name, but it ends there. There is very little about the Catholic Church that resembles the Bible. Basically, they are a false church. And, that’s the best you can say about it. In reality, it is blasphemous.

No they pray to statues, Sam has lost it. First believers were all messianic or all jewish born again believers, no gentiles and they were not Roman Catholics as defined today. They did not have minister priest in the New Testament church and Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 defines the real offices of the real born again church. Sam knows better he has been compromised.

The BIBLE in 1 Peter 2:24 says, “He (JESUS) personally carried our sins in his body on the cross.” The Catechism in 1323 says, “the Savior instituted the Eucharist to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross through the ages…” The BIBLE in John 13:30 has Jesus ON THE CROSS, saying, “It is finished.” The Catechism in 552, 765, and 880 says, “Peter is the head of the Apostles. The BIBLE in John 13:13 declares Jesus to be the disciples’ Lord and Teacher. The Catechism in 964 intimates that Mary’s union with Christ is inseparable from Christ in the work of salvation; making Mary a co-redeemer with Jesus. The BIBLE has Jesus Himself saying, “I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father (Heaven) but through Me.” The catechism in 2677 attributes the role of Mediatrix to Mary, but the BIBLE in 1Timothy 2:5 says, “There is one God and ONE mediator…the man, Christ Jesus.” The Catechism in 841 says, the Catholic Church and the Muslim faith both believe in the same God. However, the Muslim god does NOT have a son, per Islam. By the way, NO WHERE in the Bible does it ever say, that Mary is the mother of God (she was the earthly mother of the human nature of Jesus who was still God from eternity past) nowhere in the BIBLE does it ever say to pray to Mary or the saints, nowhere in the BIBLE does it ever say Mary was or is a PERPETUAL virgin, in fact Matthew 13:35 speaks of her other children, four sons by name and at least two sisters. The Greek words in this passage does NOT allow for cousins, but is properly translated brothers and sisters. Nowhere in the BIBLE does it ever say Mary was immaculately conceived, nor does it ever say that she was sinless or rose bodily into Heaven; these concepts are NOT in the BIBLE! I could go on and on. There are many, many more areas where the Catholic Church has added to scripture doctrines that are not there and, in fact, go totally against the BIBLE. Read Psalm 119, 160 plus verses all saying the Bible is God's word, precepts, decrees, commandments, ordinances, not the Catholic church or the magisterium's. John 14:26 says, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you ALL THINGS and will remind you of everything I have said to you. AND 2 Timothy says, "All scripture is God breathed...that the man of God may be fully equipped." No mention of any needed help by the Magisterium, or the Catholic Church. Sam, even a counterfeit $100 bill, on the surface, looks like a real $100 bill, but it is STILL a counterfeit. The Catholic Church has many Biblical doctrines and practices, but also MANY that are NOT Biblical, and some that are downright blasphemous.

I know Sam knows this but the Catholic Church has 2 main Rites. The Western (Latin) Rite which is the Roman Catholic and the Eastern Rite (Byzantine, Assyrian...) both rites recognize the authority of the Bishop of Rome (Pope) and the magisterium
....the church in Rome was kicked out of the broader church community (re The Great Schism) because the church in Rome was power hungry and had a continued issue relating to false doctrines. Bishop Stephen in Rome even peddled an anti-trinitarian position.
The word catholic simply means universal. Jesus is central to Christianity, not the church. Praise be to Jesus, we no longer need a mediator such as a “pope”, “father”, “bishop” or anyone else to approach the Father. 👍🏼🙏🏼

Reading of the New Testament will reveal that the Catholic Church does not have its origin in the teachings of Jesus or His apostles. In the New Testament, there is no mention of the papacy, worship/adoration of Mary (or the immaculate conception of Mary, the perpetual virginity of Mary, the assumption of Mary, or Mary as co-redemptrix and mediatrix), petitioning saints in heaven for their prayers, apostolic succession, the ordinances of the church functioning as sacraments, infant baptism, confession of sin to a priest, purgatory, indulgences, or the equal authority of church tradition and Scripture. We are not saved by sacraments; we are saved by faith. As one can see the origin of the Catholic Church is not in the teachings of Jesus and His apostles.

The Catholic Church is literally in Ignatius, who is the child Christ held up when he said "Unless you will be children again, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven". Now, which one of the two side of the 1054 Schism is the true One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, is left to debate, i guess we should even go back to the Chalcedonian Schism....Orientals also call themselves Catholic. But it's definetly not anything past the 15th century protestant infinite schisms.

The Roman cactacombs host thousands of graffiti invoking the intercession of St. Paul, martyred Popes and Our Lady. Paul had a problem with human veneration - even bordering worship, as he was greatly distressed when people started treating him differently as if he's someone special. We even have a verse about this: Acts 14:15 15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them. If Paul said that he's just as human like you, why would anyone put him on a pedestal when he himself won't approve such things?

The people in Lystra (where they were proclaiming the Gosple) thought they were the gods, Zeus and Hermes in disguise due to the fact they were perfoming all sorts of miracles. They were in fact trying to worship gods. Also, notice what the Jews did to them later. They tried to stone them for proclaiming the Gospel. The bible as in the letters of the apostles, and the tora , was confirmed by the church, the scriptures are and were authoritative already. The church did not give authority to the scriptures. Thats blasphemy . The scriptures were confirmed by the church, there is a massive difference. The church is not God , only God gives authority to the His word. Why is there such a need to make the church into a god, just like the pharasees did, they came with their own traditions , there own books and only they had some special ability or knowledge to interpret the tora, why do we keep going back to this, they also believed if they did not do the interpreting, then God would struggle to keep His word preserved, why do we need synergism all the time, why do we need to help God out, is His work not enough, so we need to help Him . It always goes Back to the original sin, man wants to be god, with the special knowledge of good and evil. Only these few special people in the church know how God wants us to be , only they can read the word and know what it truly means , same old humanism from the beginning. The Bible did not teach or show trinity , no no only the church knew of this , no ways from reading His word the ordinary believers would know about a triune God , they are would be to dumb and Gid to weak to show this via His Holy Spirit.

So I can go the original which is infallible God breathed , word of God. Why would I go to later manuscript, for my truth when we have the Word of God to go to. It's self explained regarding sorterioligy, or the salvivic power or God's word. The church fathers have very good things to say and learn from, but it's not infallible,they did not agree on all things and deferred on many things , and understandably. We can go to the literal God breathed word of God for our source of all truth. Trust God He is big enough strong enough to guide you into all truth via His Holy Spirit as He said. Institutionalising salvation is not from God . That's the core difference. appreciate your suggestion and thank you.

They are all across the world, in no denominations and in various denominations, both dead and alive. Jesus will present this church (not made by hand), to himself one day. Read Psalm 119, 160 plus verses all saying the Bible is God's word, precepts, decrees, commandments, ordinances, not the Catholic church or the magisterium's.
John 14:26 says, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you ALL THINGS and will remind you of everything I have said to you. AND 2 Timothy says, "All scripture is God breathed...that the man of God may be fully equipped." No mention of any needed help by the Magisterium, or the Catholic Church.

I know Sam knows this but the Catholic Church has 2 main Rites. The Western (Latin) Rite which is the Roman Catholic and the Eastern Rite (Byzantine, Assyrian...) both rites recognize the authority of the Bishop of Rome (Pope) and the magisterium

The Catholic Church is literally in Ignatius, who is the child Christ held up when he said "Unless you will be children again, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven".
Now, which one of the two side of the 1054 Schism is the true One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, is left to debate, i guess we should even go back to the Chalcedonian Schism....Orientals also call themselves Catholic.

The Roman cactacombs host thousands of graffiti invoking the intercession of St. Paul, martyred Popes and Our Lady. The Liturgy of the Word and the Eucharist would certanly be quite familiar to the Apostles.

You lack any depth here. If you read the entire passage, you see that the people thought they were gods, not normal people. The people in Lystra (where they were proclaiming the Gosple) thought they were the gods, Zeus and Hermes in disguise due to the fact they were perfoming all sorts of miracles. They were in fact trying to worship gods. Also, notice what the Jews did to them later. They tried to stone them for proclaiming the Gospel. These are two sets of alternate behaviors for treating Christians proclaiming the Gospel. You can guess which one you are doing by your response to the passage.

Protestants today usually argue that great Christian figures of the past can provide inspiration and example for us in our Christian walk today, but they will deny that we ought to venerate them. The word veneration simply means to give great respect or reverence. It does not mean workship. The practice of honoring people on the earth ties into honoring and venerating saints as well:
