When he said let he who has no sin cast the first stone, he was referring to himself. Jesus is the one without sin. After the pharisees left, he asked the woman where are your accusers, has no man condemned you? to which she replied, "No man, Lord" and that was when he said "Neither do I condemn you, go, and sin no more."
The entire time, Jesus was the only one with the right to judge the woman, and he chose to forgive her.

That account in the Bible doesn't exist in key manuscripts so its authenticity is debated. I was so surprised when I found out that account of he who has no sin cast the first stone was no doubt an addition that didn't exist previously....meaning someone added it to the Bible account sometime later on.

An excellent teaching, and breakdown of this scripture! Another fact is, when Jesus asked her where her accusers were, she said they left, so He said I don't accuse you either, go and sin no more. But... He was without sin! He was the ONLY ONE there without sin, that could have judged her! But instead He gave her not what she (and all of us) deserved, but LOVE AND MERCY! All honor, all power, all glory to our King of Kings! Hallelujah!

The man was a son to the spirit that dwelt in the body he shall be to me a son and I shall be to him a father. They love that man made dogma about a trinity, when scripture is clear he is spirit, body and soul, we are made in his image amen. I don’t think so. If you go through the gospels, and reread the various confrontations, they are constantly trying to test Him, trip Him up, or get Him mixed up in some way. Very often the apostles will put in some background, about how they try to get rid of him, but they fear the crowds as Jesus becomes more well known. You see the same thing after the raising of Lazarus.

One of the challenges of the Christian faith is to understand "how" it is that God is triune. Even if we somehow did know "how", it would still leave us in the academic, theological realm of mere knowledge. However, if we slightly change the question and ask "why" is God triune, then this will be a big spiritual help, opening our eyes to God's eternal purpose, His economy and our place in it.

However, I must respectfully disagree with Sam's statement regarding what Jesus wrote on the ground, suggesting it was merely a symbolic gesture (15:32-15:52). There is a colossal difference between theological and spiritual teaching and revelation; he seems to lack understanding of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues, which is crucial. While he undoubtedly has a gift from God, if he continues on this path without awakening and changing, it could lead to his downfall. Lord, have mercy on everyone! 🕊🙏🏼🕊

But I was not present enough, in the moment, to simply check for myself what the law of Moses (Deuteronomy) actually said and then follow the logic. Many divine insights have come to me because of how the spirit connects these things - and I also love the way you are aware of how easily all of us are distracted - and greatly enjoy how you remind everyone to pay attention. I used to do that by saying a gangster phrase spoken in old black and movies by Edward G. Robinson: "You see? You see?" The point is I just want to encourage you - even though you seem invulnerable - somewhere inside you is a human being despite all your divine gifting and power. God bless you.

THE QUR'AN IS A CHRISTIAN TEXT AND JESUS IS MUHAMMAD AS MUHAMMAD IN THE QUR'AN BEING A EUPHEMISM FOR MESSIAH(CHRIST)HaMASHIAK. DUST OFF YOUR FIGURE OF SPEECH LESSONS BEFORE READING THAT BOOK...
The Qur'an properly read appears to be a Christian text calling for the return to the authority of the first apostolic Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15:1-32 in rejection of the Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople as it is written:
"I will raise among them [the Messiah=Christos=HaMashiak=Muhammad=Al-Massih], a Prophet(Messenger) like you Moses, Him they must listen..."

So Messiah(Christ)HaMashiak is a Prophet(Messenger) in the likeness of Moses as Matthew proved it. Like Moses He stayed in Egypt. Like Moses He was Mediator of a New Covenant.
That said, the only way to pull the rug from under the obscurantists' feet even defeat Jihadism is to reject the categorization Christianity versus Islam and instead affirm Nazareans versus Islam. Nazarean being anybody following the teachings of Paul which of course permeate the Council of Nicaea and Constantinople.
Islam was a reaction to the White men's attempt to hijack Christianity or the Gospel and use it to overrun the globe.

His point makes a lot of sense, but when people also say that he could've been writing their names or sins, that is speculation based on what John gives us. Sam has a very good view of this, but he is also reading into the text and speculating by cross referencing Exodus 31. I agree with him btw, but I just don't think he should discredit the other views that have been given based on speculation of this text when what he is doing by cross referencing Exodus 31 and Deuteronomy 9 (which is good) is the same thing, just with more basis.

I agree with Sam too and I think he's right to connect Jeremiah 17 to John 8. Notice how Jeremiah says, "Those who turn away on earth will be written down." Jesus was writing on the ground in John 8, he could have been writing their names down. We just don't know what he was writing. There could be any number of reasons why they didn't take the man.
Perhaps he was the son of an influential man, or a roman. Perhaps it was just an oversight.
The point is, that for whatever reason, the pharisees neglected to take the man.
And that proves they didn't really act in zeal for the law. They just wanted to use the situation to trap Jesus.
They didn't really care about the law.
They didn't care to risk their necks by bringing more attention to themselves by taking the man as well.

So much nonsense in so few minutes!
The _Pericope Adulterae_ (John 7:53-8:11) is not an authentic part of John’s Gospel. It is missing from multiple early manuscripts and is marked as dubious in many others. It even appears in a manuscript of Luke! See, for example Aland, et al ( _The Greek New Testament,_ 1983, pp. xii, xlvii, 355-357) and Marsh ( _Saint John,_ 1977, pp. 681-683). For a discussion of the manuscript evidence, see Metzger ( _The Text of the New Testament: Its Transmission, Corruption and Restoration, _1968, pp. 223-224). Qualified Commentators have also noted the passage’s different style from the rest of the Gospel. See, for example John Marsh ( _Saint John,_ 1977, p682). Building one’s theology on the basis of a known spurious addition to the Gospel is a dubious practice.
As for what happened to the man and the supposed significance of Jesus writing on the ground and the alleged Exodus 31:18 & Jeremiah 17:13 connections are nothing more than the speculative product of a fertile imagination allowed to run amok. By your own admission, you don't know what Jesus is supposed to have written, so you can't draw any legitimate conclusions about its significance or possible connections with Exodus 31:18. Moreover, your claimed Exodus 31:18 connection is tenuous at best. Without wanting to place too fine a point on it, Exodus 31:18 says God wrote the Law on stone tables, not on the ground. Exodus 32:15 adds that the writing was on both sides of those tables. You should also have paid attention to what 8:9 says - it refers to what the accusers _heard_ what Jesus _said,_ not to what they read that Jesus wrote! Moreover there is nothing about the accusers' departure to suggest they were _forsaking_ God - you're just making that up.
Taking the passage at face value, the scribes and Pharisees have brought the woman to Jesus, seeking his adjudication of the issue _solely so they could find fault with Him_ (8:6). In all probability, there was never any intention on the part of the woman’s accusers to execute her - just to trap Jesus between Roman law (cf. John 18:31) and the strict standards of the Mosaic law (cf. Leviticus 20:10; Deuteronomy 22:22) - in which case she was just the bait for their trap.
Consistent with His earlier and later statements (cf Jn3:17, 8:15) Jesus did not exercise His moral authority to condemn the woman. Instead, He reminded her accusers of their own sinfulness and they eventually departed, leaving Him to decide the woman’s fate. Given the Pharisees' intent, the absence of the woman’s adulterous partner has no particular significance. It is possible he had escaped. Your assertion that they were sinning by not bringing the man is not supported in Scripture. There simply is no requirement for both parties to be tried together.
At 8:3, the woman and her accusers are present, but there is no mention of the required two witnesses to establish the offence. The 'we' might only refer to the woman's husband and a close relative - we just don't know. In capital cases:
    • verdicts were not to be decided on the evidence of a single witness (Deuteronomy 19:15)
    • a transgressor cannot testify (Exodus 23:1)
    • no-one was to be executed before he/she has stood trial (Numbers 35:12)
    • the testimony of a close relative of the defendant cannot be admitted (Deuteronomy 24:16)
Execution by stoning was prescribed for adulterous betrothed/engaged women only (Deuteronomy 22:24); it was not specified as the mode of execution for other men or women convicted of adultery.
At 8:7, while upholding the Mosaic law, which possibly required a witness to the offence to cast the first stone (Deuteronomy 17:7), Jesus simultaneously demands righteousness of the person who was to cast that first stone.
At 8:9, their bluff called, none of the woman’s accusers was prepared to act, either because their intention was:
    • only to catch Jesus diluting the Mosaic law or inciting people to break Roman law; or
    • to uphold the Mosaic law but doing so under the terms of Jesus’ challenge would mean denying their own sin, exemplified by the unrighteous trap in which they sought to snare Jesus (cf. Psalms 64 & 140). This brings with it the necessary implication they had breached their Leviticus 19:18 obligations to Him.
Once the _specified/eligible_ witnesses departed (if they’d ever been present), no trial and no pguilty verdict was possible.
The only time the woman speaks is at 8:11, where she neither affirmed or denied the accusations. In the absence of the witnesses required by the Mosaic law, Jesus released her. His statement “Neither do I condemn you” does not imply forgiveness - especially given the absence of any evidence of repentance being expressed by the woman. All it means is that Jesus dismissed the charges against her for want of evidence and due process. Jesus simply admonished her to sin no more (cf. John 5:2-14 for a similar example).
