#ferrari #roma #review - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
I love your Ferrari coverage - from service and maintenance to overhauls to new cars and old - your passion for these cars is so satisfying! Thank you!
Thank you very much!
This is by far the absolute best looking Ferrari I've ever seen. The inside and outside are both beautiful. If I could afford this beauty I would not hesitate to purchase it. This one will be scooped up very soon for sure. You guys find the best looking autos out there!!
Thank you
I rented one of these while on vacation a few months back and loved it. Great car to daily. Plenty of room, not too flashy or over the top, fast when you need it to be, and comfortable.
Yup agreed.
Ferrari knocked it outta the park with the Roma's looks. Absolutely gorgeous.
I think so.
Love these cars specially in silver or metallic blue. It’s like Ferrari designed an Aston Martin. 😅 which I do love, but I can see backlash from Ferrari purists.
@cconnon1912 dude exactly, it as those sweet Db9 dimensions.
Love you guys!!! Rock on!!! ❤
Thanks
I like the look of the Roma… I just would never buy a front-engined Ferrari when I could buy a mid-engined 😂
I prefer the mid engine Ferraris as well.
So, a 250 GT is not a Ferrari...Ferris would disagree.
Congrats 🍾 love the journey
Thanks
I love how you guys are 100% honest regarding your feelings about the car. It's so refreshing to see that!
Thanks
Love the way Casey specs his cars (both this one & his F8). Not sure about the full digital instrument cluster though, it kept getting fuzzy when you’d accelerate. 😉😂
Yeah I'm torn on the digital tach.
Is there a reason why your inventory page isn't completed before your video? Seems that way with every car you sale, the video comes out first.
There's only 2 of us and we run out of time.
This same Roma was at HSB last week. My Roma is Grigio Alloy. I love my Roma!
Nice
Nice car. The only thing in the looks department I'm on the fence about is the front grill, don't love it, don't hate it. I like the center screen, I think more Ferraris should have them. How are the haptic controls?
The front grill is a bit odd. The controls are nice.
Something I just thought I would mention, I had a look at your sales site. I think given the space you have out front you should make a photo shoot area to take pics of your cars. Also invest in a better camera rather than a phone camera. You could make a small area with some nice porcelain tiles and a white back drop. Would look so much better. Just a thought.
We plan to. We just have not had the time or the money yet.
@@normalguysupercar Cool I knew you would have already thought of it :) I hope its going well, summer will be here soon! Cheers
As much as I love the 430 and the 458 these comfortable GT cars are my preference now. I like that it is light.
Yes indeed.
reminds of a Jag
It does for sure.
The Ferrari with the C8 series inspired interior, and dont even think twice about it because it most certainly is. Had to state the obvious on this one.
I suppose so
Dan do you personally think the 812 falls into the GT cars you aren't personally your thing, or is that a different animal?
I'm not as big a fan of any of the front engine cars nor gt cars
Jaguar F-Type that went to a private Italian Boarding School.
LOL!
Is the Roma the replacement for the California? When it first was released I thought it was the replacement for the 812?
Portifino replaced California. Roma replaced Portifino.
The Portofino replaced the Cali.
Re your new cat door if it swings both ways to let the cats back in, how will you keep out rats and curious squirrels from getting in your building?
Didn’t see it on your site? What’s the mileage after y’all test drove it?
It's not on the site yet. It's still under 1k miles
I have 2 cars that color and love it but, maybe not Ferrari though?! I C-coat them once a year. Elbow grease is usually the killer when washing them, I lightly glide wash mitt and drying towel over them and they're good till the next year.
Yeah it's a difficult color to maintain
Happy birthday Dan 🎉
Thank you
What's going to be a bigger PITA in the future.....sticky buttons on older models or the mini screens on this and future models?
Time will tell
Stunning car besides the ran out of money front grille on all of them.
The Spider is my all time favourite.
The grille is a bit off
If u look at the Roma as the evolution of cali and protofino it’s a great bargain luxury sports car, looks better than the previous cars too. They will def compete with amg gtr, Aston vantage, db11, Bentley etc at 130k esp with the Ferrari badge
Agreed.
I like the tech I wish my 430 had these I’d pay for the upgrade
Yup
def grown on me, seems like a great GT
For sure.
I like the roma a lot and ive been a big watcher of them but i dunno.. some say it's boring to own/drive, some say not. Seenthroughglass just reported (at least from a few weeks ago) that Maranello was pumping these out by the thousands, what seemed like anyway. I think they've stopped taking orders on these but more coming to the used market.
Interesting because you rarely see these.
I look at this car as the perfect “daily driver” Ferrari. Like you have another Ferrari or more in your garage that are much more loud and exciting, but this is the one you keep parked outside and run around town in. I’m sure there are people who like the GT feel enough to make it their only Ferrari, but again, it gives me “doctor going to work” vibes.
Yeah
I just think the Roma is just beautiful. I think it’s the prettiest current Ferrari, but I admittedly generally prefer front-engine proportions to mid-engine.
Yeah
Unfortunately you can’t tune it or swap exhaust. It’s a long story, but Ferrari Austin, and Boardway Dallas couldn’t get it to work. Between the two, they spent almost eight months trying.
Well that's disappointing.
You cab tune it l. Ecm is a Bosch MED17.3.5 stmdard encryption. There are tunes for it bench flashed
@@philipparana9225 trust me, you’re going to have yellow engine lights on your instrument cluster, maybe the 2022 or earlier model years, but Ferrari has made it almost impossible to crack the ECU coding. Ferrari Austin and Dallas spent almost eight months between the two dealerships, and working directly with Novitec in Germany. Other’s like Fabspeed won’t touch it, and Ferrari has remained tight lipped regarding it, but it’s my opinion they don’t want people tuning it because it’s an entry level car. If you want more horsepower, they want you to pay for it by purchasing a higher end model.
If you tune or swap exhaust you invalidate Warranty
@@jonathancollard3710 not true. If the FERRARI dealership does the work, the car maintains its warranty. I know, because I had the work done by the dealership
Wow.... sounds great for a twin turbo....
Yes indeed.
The Roma is another design “stolen” from Maserati…. The original California was initially designed as a Massa and the Roma is the “Alfieri”… note that I am NOT complaining…. As love the Cali T I have 😜
Yup
Roma is growing on me but that tablet looks like a someone painted a Speak & Spell black and tacked it onto the dash. Not good!
LOL!
They've, unfortunately, depreciated like rocks, new $300k for a decent spec but more than 1k miles, the value just pluments.
True.
Enter the Roma 👍
Yup
Sadly many cars are delivered from the Ferrari factory with improper alignment. I’ve driven a few Roma’s, it should not float in the front. I’m guessing too little toe out in the front. Get it checked.
Could be
I was going to buy it but didn't see it available on your site. I bought a Kia instead 😂
Good move
It is the same engine as Cali T, and Portofino…😉
Basically yes
souless
Eh I dunno
Like I mentioned Thursday night, I really like this model and have watched many videos about it. Two things Dan, you, and Josh should have pointed out are that the tail lights are not the standard Ferrari round and that there is not a standard start button; it's on the steering wheel. And, yes, I am a GT kind of guy, and I am the kind of guy that would put a Ferrari decal on the side of it, as you see on Porsches, just in case someone didn't recognize it as a Ferrari, and wear Ferrari mech when I drive mine if I can ever get one.
They have done many different light styles now
@@normalguysupercar Yeah, but the one they have there are really cool😎, and functional unlike the California’s.
Repeat after me: "The Ferrari Roma never has, and never will, have any cache or collectability value. It's the Mondial of the early 21st century. Look at secondary market pricing vs., say the F8 Tributo." But push it and push it hard."
Eh I don't know that it's that bad
Looks like a Aston
A bit
I know it’s just me but I can’t stand red interiors 😂
I like them!
I love them, even more with a blue paint
Always had disdain for red interiors.
Yeah it’s just you lol
I don't trust you guys, let's see what Meg has to say about it 😂
Probably not gonna happen given the mileage restriction
Now that is a sexy car!
I think so.
Yikes I bet the owner is taking a bath on that car, I wonder if he is trying to play the Ferrari game to try and get a special Ferrari in the future since he bought a new "entry" Ferrari.
He is working the Ferrari game.
I love this car. I think it’s underrated
I agree
Love the body
Thanks
Why do so many of these high performance cars have squealing brakes?! First order of business would be to address that. Pull off the ceramics and replace with non-squealing steels. Ceramics are not needed on road cars unless you are driving it so hard you are risking jail time. And no-one is tracking a Roma!
I hate steel brakes. I hate brake dust
@@normalguysupercar I’ve found that ceramic pads can stop the squeal on high performance steel rotors and cut way down on the brake dust. My father has a 1999 MB SL600. Owned it for about 20 years. The MB OEM steel brakes squealed all the time and produced way too much dust. MB dealer said that it just how they are and you could not go with anything other than OEM. He was seriously considering selling the car after 1 year of ownership and battling the brakes. I found him quality aftermarket ceramic pads. His local shop slapped them on the original rotors and instantly solved the squealing and dust. Car still stops on a dime.
Got the Jag F-type look, but the Jag sounds better lol
Eh I would debate that.
@@normalguysupercar maybe if the Roma had a proper exhaust on it. The Jag sounds nuts out of the factory.
Sorry but I think it looks like a Corvette!
Eh, I think more like a Jag or Aston.
Looks like a Nissan
I'm not really getting the Nissan vibe
@@normalguysupercar Really? It looks almost identical to the new Nissan Z
