- A short mini doc that was supposed to be just a "screen test" for a much larger project im doing later this year. But I liked this so much, that it needed to be shared. An incredible story that I cant wait to tell! And I hope you all love it as much as I do!

@@wk-film Thank you so so much!! What was supposed to just be a little “screen test” kind of turned into a little mini doc. So I wasn’t mad at it 🤷🏻♂️😂. But again, thank you !
Really awesome Zak 👏 SUB from a german FX6 filmmaker 😉 looking forward to see more FX6 shorts like this 👍🏻 please can you tell me what font it was at the beginning? Best cinematic greetings from germany
I appreciate that a LOT man!! Thank you!!!! I’ll have to look back and double check on the font!! Greeting from the USA! Except Germany is way cooler
Loved the sound design and music! May i know the name of the bgm you're using?
I appreicate that a LOT! Thankyou! And its "Infinite" by Josh Hoover
Great work! What mic was used for interview
Thanks man!! This was all done on the Sennheiser MKE 600 !
que cancion usaste para este video?
wow man wow.... what lens did you use?
Thank you so much!!! This was all shot on the Sony GM 24-70 F2.8
love this! what is the lens?
Thank you so much!! Stoked you liked it! And this was all on the Sony G Master 24-70!
nice!! what instrumental music did you used?
Thanks!! It was "Infinite" by Josh Hoover
Hi Zak, what ISO were you using?
Thanks!
Hey man, I was exclusively shooting in Cine EI on this one, so only the low base of 800 or there might of even been just a couple shots of 12,800 on this also!
Loved the story and lighting, very well done! One tiny bit of critic: his voice fading out at the end. It felt 'off'.
Well…. I didn’t add any audio fades at all to his voice. Especially at the end. So I’m not sure what you’re hearing or seeing there. Lol.
@@zakappleton I double listened(!) and I think it is the music ending making it sound like a fade. Or I need my ears checked 🙂 Anyway, very nice work!
Which lenses?
This is actually all exclusively shot on the Sony G Master 24-70!
4k 24fps??
Yes sir! With some 4k 120fps thrown in.
Very good. My only suggestion is that 'cinematic' doesn't always mean dark and gloomy lighting.
Uhhh thanks ? It is if that’s all we had to work with on the day… lol. “Dark and Gloomy” doesn’t have a very good click rate… But I appreciate you breaking out the “cinematic rule book” 🤘🏼
@@zakappleton No offence intended. It was very good as I've said.
