What is really touching my heart lately is how Italians are able to truly enjoy their beautiful country again without zillions of tourists everywhere. I know that's an economic problem, and I'm sure it will be remedied at some point, but to me, this season of "rest" is restoring the spirits of my Italian friends and neighbors. I can see it in their faces. They deserve this time during Feragosto to relish what is rightfully theirs. Thank you Nicki and Carlo for sharing your lovely day with us. God bless you.
Maybe if there would be some rules how many people can be in the cities at the same time. I don't see a point of coming to see some beautiful place and stay just one day... You can book a hotels, when they're all full, sorry, come another time.

I stayed the Hotel Convento years ago and did this walk every day for 8 days - it is wonderful to reach the heart of the village from this walk. This was a real trip down memory lane as that was about 20 years ago....There was an amazing Escher exhibit in Naples 1-1/2 years ago with lots of works done depicting the Amalfi Coast - was amazing. The sea is just glistening! So beautiful. Thanks again for doing these for all of us - I know it can take quite a lot of time and it much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay in Atrani and of course walked through the tunnel between there and Amalfi multiple times (so convenient). We had dinner one of our nights there right in the same piazza, but at Ristorante L'Abside instead. This area has been my favorite part of Italy that we have visited so far. I have to add that Pina, Pino (and their cat) at La Scogliera were absolutely some of the best hosts we have ever had.

Just came back from Italy yesterday and visited Amalfi with the family 2 days ago. Thanks to your video I knew about the Roman villa ruins under Il Ninfeo and bought some nice ceramics my wife lives after seeing the ruins. I let the owner know that because of your video I knew where and what to look for and thus went to Il Ninfeo. Thanks!
Hi Nicki and Carlo! Great day! Everything and every place is so interesting! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the flower pots and plants that are in tiny alleys, going up stairs and on walls along the roads.. Cand the plants are all so healthy! After my first trip to Italy I decided to do potted plants and everyday I'm tending to them, I think of Europe :) Your friend's shop with the picture of Jackie Kennedy was interesting. I was a kid when she and her sister spent holidays in Amalfi....I remember all the attention....she picked a beautiful place to relax with her kids. Nicki, I notice that there are palm trees growing here.....but not a lot. Why don't people plant a lot more of them...they are so tropical looking? Just came back from Italy yesterday and visited Amalfi with the family 2 days ago. Thanks to your video I knew about the Roman villa ruins under Il Ninfeo and bought some nice ceramics my wife lives after seeing the ruins. I let the owner know that because of your video I knew where and what to look for and thus went to Il Ninfeo. Thanks!
Hi Nicki and Carlo! Great day! Everything and every place is so interesting! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the flower pots and plants that are in tiny alleys, going up stairs and on walls along the roads.. Cand the plants are all so healthy! After my first trip to Italy I decided to do potted plants and everyday I'm tending to them, I think of Europe :) Your friend's shop with the picture of Jackie Kennedy was interesting. I was a kid when she and her sister spent holidays in Amalfi....I remember all the attention....she picked a beautiful place to relax with her kids. Nicki, I notice that there are palm trees growing here.....but not a lot. Why don't people plant a lot more of them...they are so tropical looking? Anyways, thank you both for a great relaxing video😀👌

A lovely video! Did not realize Atrani was that small! While all the tunnels are amazing, how do you not get lost? I loved the T-shirt shop, and of course the ceramics along this coast are just beautiful. Your lunch was quite a meal!
