Thank you so much for yuor advice. I took my bicycle to a specialized mechanic and he wasn't even able to turn it on. The company doesn't even respond to my emails. I saw your video and in just 2 minutes I understood what had happened. I fixed it myself. Thank you again
You, my man, are a lifesaver. Wow, you made it so easy. I was a little panicked about taking all the chain cranks off,,but your solution solved everything thank you
1. Flip the bike over 2. Look for the serial number under the crank 3. Find the black wire connected to the sensor, the sensor is the rectangular piece next to the chainwheel 4. The sensor itself has a screw in it the connects it to the bracket 5. Loosen the screw all the way and remove the sensor, then with your thumbs push the sensors bracket in toward the chainwheel til you get the paper thin spacing. Place the sensor back in to ensure you have that spacing and tighten back in the screw. 6. Flip the bike back over power on battery then the display. 7. Take the bike for a 5 minute ride and everything should be working like it should.
I started with 250 watt 26" bafang wheel for 39$ bought all parts separately, today I got my hyperbike and will add dual motor controller, two motors !!!!
So I have this problem and it is that the device where the speed modes are changed does not want to turn on but the battery works so I do not know why it does not want to turn on. any suggestion?
That top plastic piece was difficult to remove. I had to use WD 40 on it and it still took quite a bit of force. The WD40 ended up being the trick to success for me.
My sensor works, but the ring isn't close enough. I can push it back to where it engages again, but it won't stay for very long. It keeps shifting away to where the sensor won't pick up the magnetic ring any more. Like every couple of minutes of riding. Suggestions as to what do I need to do to fix that issue?
Can you apply 3 small dabs of silicone caulk (equally spaced approximately)to connect disc to shaft when disc is in desired location. Possibly use a tooth pic to apply dabs?
That is scary. Did you end up finding the problem, or return the bike? I own the Hyper 29" I have not had any issues and no reason to call customer service, but they obviously sent you the wrong part. Not too cool. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Yes, the problem turned out to be the front/left brake lever which has a sensor that cuts off the motor when you pull the sensor. Here's a video on the brake lever diagnosis: th-cam.com/video/M_WUbXG1rKk/w-d-xo.html
You end the vid with " So, I'm going to contact Hyper again tomorrow" ... So...uhhh.. After 11 months Hyper has not gotten back with you on the 'walk mode' problem? ( They got me fixed up in 5 days) You kinda just leave your viewers hangin' here... Man, don't post a vid if you're not gonna follow up.

Measure battery voltage.if under 30 volts, controller won't power up.

Can you post a video showing how you put the black plastic L brackets in place seems impossible

If anyone knows, where is the speed sensor on this bike. How does it know when to stop providing power.
That is scary.
