I lived here for 19 years, raised my children here. Ideal America, educated, active citizens, racial and cultural diversity in a very positive interaction compared to large cities I've lived in. The only problem is lack of good jobs because once people get one they hang on for life.
That non-alcoholic bar actually interested me. I'm only just shy of a teetotaler, but I am still curious about what some drinks are like. I'd also love to visit that orchard and eat at their restaurant. That second story covered porch with the view was lovely. That'll be very pleasant on a summer day. Iowa cities are neat. I hope y'all will visit Davenport and Cedar Rapids some day. The town of Clinton on the Mississippi is also kind of charming.
This was a great video. You did your research, it was well-produced and edited. I've had a life-long connection to Iowa City, and I've lived here since 1996. You even taught me a couple of things. Nice work.
😂 how? It looks like a great place to move and raise a family..... I'm anticipating. are you really discouraging me not to? let me know something. thanks.
@@cic-jakevanddalgeemyers.2739 No worst then anywhere else. Tech jobs around and cedar rapids is expanding tech and health care jobs. A very liberal town in a conservative area. Might want to check out Cedar Falls, Iowa. UNI College. Cheaper to live in. Locals are a little full of themselves. 3.5 hours from the Twin Cities. Go west and you have farms and parks. More smoke stack industry in the area which is taking a hit at the moment.

Lovely neighborhood and vintage building. Would love that unit in a 2 and 2 (for a higher price of course).
I’m impressed 😎👍♥️

A very old Iowa saying about life choices. 😉
