I've been homeless for eight months in Tennessee and some old friends have invited me to their home in Dubuque and I am very thankful! Cold weather doesn't mean anything when you have been homeless as long as I have. Looks like a beautiful city. I can't wait to get there. Thanks for sharing this video ❤

Everything looks so nice and clean. Streets and sidewalks are beautifully paved. Nicely maintained buildings. At 73 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny, how can you go wrong? Did hear a siren in the distance-must be a response to a cat stuck up in a tree.

as a san franciscan i dont have a phobia of being around a buncha tall skyscrapers in fact i liked it. But after seing how the buildings is not "overwhelming the skyline" but it still has that city vibe. It's as if the San Fran tight cluster of buildings WERE squishing me and this is a breath of relief. I get it though it's that sudden unclutter of the sky. Less tall buildings. More view of the sky i guess. But cool stand out from large cities like SF or NYC. But what's actually refreshing is lack of homeless and crackhead problem :D

@@mq-r3apz291That’s right, especially the part about skyscrapers blocking the sky. There definitely is a sense that all those big buildings, most of which we never interact with directly, are constricting us, decreasing our level of well being… Thankfully such places for me are okay maybe even fun to visit but never could see myself living in such a building-intensive environment. Guess if you were born and raised there you’d feel pretty comfortable living there.

Get a tri-pod to hold the camera still. Then do view cuts in editing. This is a common mistake people made years ago when they went from 8mm movie cameras to VHS cameras. 8mm was expensive to type to get as much as you can quickly. Unfortunately it carried over to video cameras of today where cost of media is next to nothing.

I went to grad school in Iowa City. If there’s one place in Iowa I would choose to live, it’s Iowa City. Lots of U of I grads feel the same and they stay there after graduation. That makes the place quite unlike most cities its size. That, plus all the cultural offerings of the university that are available to take advantage of. Nice place.
