When you are ready to land your mosquito there are a small number of visual checks to carry out initially:
    1. Check the air pressure, which needs to be a minimum of 200 pounds per square inch.
    2. Then the supercharger switch needs to be down for MOD low gear.
    3. Check that the radiator switches are open.
Following completion of those checks, we can reduce our speed to 180 miles per hour indicated air speed which is around 157 knots.
Once at 180 mph IAS we can complete the following actions:
    1. Lower the undercarriage. Once down the selector handle will return to neutral and then check that the indicator shows two greens. Once lowered the nose will drop significantly so be prepared to input counter trim.
    2. Make sure the propeller speed controls are fully forward
    3. Check the fuel gauges to determine which tanks contain the most fuel and set the fuel cocks accordingly.
We can now start to reduce our Indicated Air Speed to 160 mile per hour at which point we will lower the flaps.
The flaps must be set to full down and once fully lowered considerable nose down trim will be required.
After lowering the flaps fully, reselect undercarriage DOWN to ensure that it is positively locked. Remember with the undercarriage and flaps lowered, the aircraft has a high rate of descent. Until used to this, pilots will tend to undershoot and correction entails the use of much more power than might be expected.
If I had a tip to offer during the landing process, it would be this….. as you flare before landing use the top of the windscreen wiper as a point of reference and line it up with the horizon. It should help avoid any bounce during landing.
To slow the aircraft down and come to a full stop following landing. Apply short multiple brake inputs this will ensure you don’t nose tip the airframe.

Thanks for this👍👍 She's a beauty! I find landings easer than take offs as with the other warbirds. Also I hate to be "that guy" but I guess gun safe switch would be part of landing checklist😉.

Raising the flaps before taxiing off the runway is always tricky (in real life), too many pilots have raised the gear and ended up on their bellies. Especially in a tail dragger where you cant afford to put your eyes inside the cockpit for a second while fast moving on the ground (I know, I've ended up off the runway after a landing cause I put my eyes inside like a dumbass when first training in tail dragger planes).

Guess that safety bracket is there for a reason :)

@@CakePrincessCelestia each plane is different and others might not have the bracket, so its best to keep the hands away from the area until clear of the runway and can clean up properly.

PSA: Currently the Mossie wing bombs have a bug: They will not release in multiplayer if you spawned on the ground, but they work fine in SP (or for MP air-spawn, I think). BUT: there is a workaround. You have to press the left-side fuel jettison button (open cover first) while you are holding the bomb release down. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Really, not come across that. Been using all bombs without issue in mp since day one. Aircraft always spawned cold and dark. Will test tomorrow evening again.

Same here, no issue with bomb so far ( either SP or MP, cold or hot, on ground or in air )

This technique works fine. But, the actual landing technique invariably used by Mosquito pilots, whether at modern air shows or shown in historic film (e.g. the first minute of the TH-cam video entitled "RAF Mosquitos flight sequences in the 1964 film '633 Squadron") is the wheel landing. Perhaps in another video you can demonstrate how to do one?

On a real airplane I remember my prop positions by saying," Fine for flight course for cruise" Also be mindful most piston engine planes can be landed slower and shorter WITH engine assisted approaches than the chop and drop method.

Why do you speak about the knots and not the Kph.
There is no such unit on the anmometer so i don't understand why you speak about those units.

The answer is very simple and two fold. The Mosquito is a British aircraft of the period and the actual pilot notes make reference to both the formats mentioned in the video. I hope that answers your question. Many thanks.
