Excellent explanation of how to use a rudder. Now I have a better idea of where I'm going wrong. Thank you.

Being told to do this or do that may work for some, but you explaining "WHY" to do things makes it so much easier to understand and learn from. Thank you and please keep these vids coming.

man I am kind of new to the whole real sim stuff... You just don't know how long I have been struggling to understand this concept. Thanks, my flight will never be the same after this.

Nice, I didn't expect that much of a slowdown!

Great help in understanding how to lose height n speed in a warbird. Thanks mate 👍

good example using the P-51 as the gunports (whistling) give clear indication of AOA 06:52

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you can really hear the whistle of that wing stalling when you're side-slipping around 8:40

I learned the difference between #Slip & #Skid includind but not limited to drag and speed.
    Thank you

okim 1 week into dcs p51 and this is great , but can you show how to get out of a spin, i turn and plane shudders and then goes into death spirall.

Good idea for video. But a quick tip, dump the nose always (push stick forward) and rather than trying to totally fight against the plane, go with it a little (ie if during spin you notice a small roll left, go with it, don't try to cancel it).
Slowly as airflow over the plane builds, controls will become more responsive...
And it's worth practicing with any prop/warbird, full power/idle - and how it affects yaw, as depending on the direction of the spin, this can help. I'll do a video soon. Cheers

Classic spin recovery is as follows: full stick forward. Full opposite rudder. When spin stops, neutralize rudders. Then start your pull out making sure to add power if you've reduced it prior to spin. If your pullout us too aggressive you'll find yourself in a high speed stall and back into another spin. This is real world spin recovery procedures.

Man I've been into warbirds for years. I've played war thunder and you know I've read real pilots accounts and I've always heard about slip and skid but I thought that this was something that was done intentionally by the pilot with the rudders I had no clue that this was not actually a form of evasive maneuvers although it can be but rather it's a natural effect of flight I never knew in in fact it's almost like a war birds like an earlier version of a helicopter in this regard you know.

Applying a lot of left rudder on idle power during sharp final turn- good way how to get into spin. Never do it in real life!

Go to settings at the title screen. Go to the special options and select the warbird from the list. Click the box for “auto rudder”
