    Should weight loss drugs be sold at a cheaper rate?

      Every Drug has its Pros and Cons😢, well one should go healthy naturally but here using this drugs will give temporary results and permanent body damages internally. Humans have problem of they feel fever and fall sick they take Crocines and Paracetamol for fever and Aches. Well, most of civilians don't know if you take more than 21 dose of Paracetamol your health starts depreciating which may give severe health problem in your 40+ and 60+ age.
      Thank you

      Yes. It should lower the prices so all people could be attended. Since it’s well known that all drugs have their pros and cons, this is no reason to stop this drug. Each individual knows better how to conduct their business, including to learn better about their bodies and drugs.

      No if it becomes cheaper, the more it is likely to reach thousands, and by thousands people will start to set up even their own false company and sell any medecine and name them a weight loss products which will not just be in a small scale but a large narcotics. Lots of side effects and death

    sad that you did not mention the side effects of the medication
    -Nausea
    -Diarrhea
    -Thyroid cancer
    -Abdominal pain
    Most importantly, it's crucial to note that Ozempic and other drugs are only tested in diabetic people. We don't know the side effects in non-diabetic patients. Ozempic is a hormone substitute, and if you take hormones in artificial form, your body will stop producing that hormone. This means you have to take it for a lifetime. The GLP-1 hormone stays in our body for 2 minutes, while Ozempic, on the other hand, remains in our body for 1 week. This will definitely have side effects. Also, when you eat food, it stays in your stomach for much longer than it should when you take Ozempic.

      Thyroid cancer is not a side effect of these drugs. It's a black box warning because some heavily dosed rats a long time ago developed thyroid tumors. In all the trials over several years involving tens of thousands of people there were no reports of humans developing medullary thyroid cancer. Still, because rats got it, they have to include it as a warning to pass FDA approval. The other side-effects are mild and temporary, but if anyone has persistent intestinal pain, they need to discontinue the drug.

    No Palki, we dont need cheaper weightloss drugs... We need better nutrition education from a school going age, we need to hold companies accountable for the ultraprocessed, unhealthy and addictive foods and drinks sold, we need to make our public spaces more conducive to walking, cycling etc... there's so much that can be done... Cheaper weightloss drugs is not what we need

    The video clip ends with a question mark on the adverse effects of these weight loss drugs which is to be taken seriously. The weight loss drugs are to be taken long-term and any medication will show its side-effects eventually. There is yet to be a drug that is risk-free. From my perspective, the best bet is still physical exercise, dieting and active lifestyle. There is absolutely no side-effects in this regimen and it is time-tested.

      That's just Type 2 diabetes. Type 1 occurs when it's in your genes. Even if you are super healthy, workout often, drink water, eat well etc etc, Type 1 can still happen to you. If someone had it in your family, chances of you getting it is very very high. Hereditary.

      My ancestors worked hard in farms producing their own food, and it's high in fiber food, now the food I get is highly refined, dense in energy and I work hard on my keyboard and in my free time play Farming simulator or Farmville on my computer.

    • @ligitlogic4111
      @ligitlogic4111 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KalpeshPatel78 type-1 is less occuring then type-2, you can consider ratio of 90:10 i.e type-2:type-1, major reason for type-2 is insulin resistance and obecity due to high glucose/carbs intake, which leads to beta cell exaution resulting type2, so basically its lifestyle disease. Also 1st line therapy in tye2 is always suggested as healthy lifestyle modification. Which is avoided by patients resulting these products for them, but mass promotion and social advertising is causing its different repurcations, and the is excellently shown in video.. ✌️

    • @MetallicReg
      @MetallicReg 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This isn’t true for these drugs since they work regardless of the rate of weight loss. As long as you use them, your appetite and weight will be regulated.
      So at the very least you may use them to recover the body in a healthy condition. This may be the last option for people that are obese beyond any control.

    I've used Novo Nordisk's insulins since 2004 when I developed type 1 diabetes as a teenager. Prices have hardly budged since then. I use one of the expensive insulin types, which costs me (without insurance) around $40 a month, while I pay around $20/month out of pocket because of insurance. I live in Denmark.
    I'm surprised that Wegovy and Ozempic are so expensive in Europe as well, because Novo Nordisk has been pretty affordable in Denmark in general. The most expensive dose of Wegovy costs around $500 a month here, and it's not covered by insurance. Ozempic is covered by insurance for type 2 diabetics, though.

    The main issue I see with these drugs is that they could mask other medical conditions that lead to weight gain, like thyroid issues or hormone problems. Also the weight loss will not only come from fat loss, but also muscle mass, which could lead to metabolic syndrome. Ultimately, you will need to change your diet and exercise anyway.

    For decades, I kept thinking about how limited is our health knowledge since we didn’t have any good drug to cover all the needs of almost 40% of the population in America for weight loss.
    Now that we have two companies producing weight loss weight let’s solve this problem on all fronts: physical weight loss, food addiction in the emotional and psychological areas, and the food industries producing food of better quality than the super industrialized hypercarbohydrates food, increasing the natural goods.
    Hopefully, these drugs won’t be taken out of the market this time, leaving people without alternatives to lose weight with a drug as support.

    I understand the use of such drugs if it has a health indication. e.g. someone has a diseased heart or musculoskeletal system and, simply for health reasons, they should weigh less. I don't understand losing weight for "aesthetic" reasons. People of all shapes are beautiful, because true beauty comes from within. Beauty cannot be judged and has no specific dimensions or colors. Everything created is perfect. Otherwise it wouldn't have been created. Why do people constantly want to correct the Creator?
