I remember seeing the LTD model of that particular machine, setting on the show room floor back in the 70s in candy apple red, best looking motorcycle I've ever seen.
Big Bang Duke yes Kawasaki really did their homework with that sound aftermarket companies are really going to have to do their homework as well to get me to buy something after market
No I don’t but it was a great bike I just do a lot of highway riding so I needed more wind protection. I now have a “Versys 650” and love this as well.
I love the black color! What are your initial impressions of the throttle/fueling that some of the press have described as a bit "snatchy" with an on/off feeling? I'm hoping is not a major issue as I love the styling of this bike. Thanks.
Moto Nirvana I see it as it has a lot of torque so you have to be lighter on the throttle, my first initial ride was a bit jerky cause I was not used to the throttle response, but second and third ride I just needed to be a little smoother/ lighter on the throttle. You can go 35mph in 6th gear and pull away with no problem lots of power.
Good standard motorcycle: *pros* - powerful, comfortable, LED headlight, looks, *for short sport riding* *cons* - no storage, chain maintenance, no wind protection, *NOT for the highway* EDIT: price is not too bad either
Congrats, looks like a great bike! Except for that dealer sticker (??) on the side. I would have made them take it off before accepting delivery. Why do they do that?
