Who was the heavy set woman who grabbed him from the trailer and nearly got trampled by him from his freakout on the trailer! Kai is amazing and the transition of his maturity level is absolutely astounding! I can hardly wait to see more progression videos of him!

Let go of the rains when you fall
Katya G that’s like saying “don’t scream if you get scared”, you can’t always think of those things when you’re falling. At the time I was trying to stay on, it was instinct.
That’s a very controversial topic too. Horses learn from release of pressure and if they are bucking from disrespect and your coming off and just let go of the reins, that horse is going to learn that bucking means an immediate release of pressure. Plus if your on the trail, you don’t want your horse taking off without a way to get back. Of course, the horse may run you over and such but when your getting bucked off the first thing that comes to your mind is definitely not “oh no I gotta let go of the reins!”

He’s doing so well !! He’s an awesome mix of personality plus and really chill....probably because he has been so handled as a foal it has shaped him into an amazing horse ! You are doing an incredible job with him. Are you going to do some jumping with him eventually or is dressage where it’s at for you now ? 🥰😍

Ok you are really good with him and gave him time to mature most people don’t really do that but when u fall off let go of the reins but otherwise you are really good with him
Jake Wells thank you! However saying to “let go of reins” is like saying not to scream/jump when you get scared. You can’t always think of those things when you’re falling, especially when you’re trying to stay on

Well duh u have to get back on the horse.
It’s not “ it’s the type of rider I am” if u get bucked off u have to get back on or he’ll think that he owns you not you own him
I am not an amazing rider as I am only 12 and am sure you are awesome but in the video you fell off him and he was playing up he’s saddle looked quite far forward and it might have been a little uncomfortable for him ❤️❤️
The saddle was not too far forward and he was not uncomfortable at all, he reacted the way he did because I put more leg on. I got straight back on and he has no issues
