He taught me everything
He put up with me fumbling for 5 minutes to put the bridle on right, not posting right, taking forever to pick his hooves and every other beginner mistake you can think of
he taught me how to take a fall, how to ride bareback, how to care for a horse..
He made me the rider I am today and he made me the person I am today
He was my first taste of freedom
I could get on him and gallop full speed away from the world when I was upset
And he always knew
He knew when I was upset and always behaved his best to make me feel better
He would let me cuddle him all day, he tolerated all of my bullshit
Though sometimes it didn't seem like it,
He loved me
And I love him
And I will miss him everyday..
I think all the time about how much farther we could have gone together if I had moved him to a barn...
I know he's happy in his new home.. And i can go see him whenever I want.. The lady who took him is perfect
I'm so grateful for him
For what he taught me
I owe him everything

@@lovefunandhopedavison1099 I know how it feels,I own a ranch were I rescue kill pen horses and I will usually always come back with a dozen of new horses that needed alot of care,alot of them have passed,I've lost a good hundred or two in the past 5 years of doing this,one comes in one goes out ,to it's forever home or passed
You dont know how many horses I have found dead in the stall or out in the pasture either due to a sickness that got too bad or due to old age (alot of them come in old and never get adopted because of their age so they end up passing )

just lost my beautiful mustang thunder today,we live on a ranch and his wild mother had him whilst we got her from the prairie,I had him since he was a foal,he was my best friend but it wasn't gonna last long,on his 3rd birthday whilst jumping he bucked me off in a state of panic, it wasn't fair to keep something truly wild locked up,so today we set him free,he visits the ranch every now and then cause he remembers were it is but he will always be in my heart not matter what,stay wild thunder I love you my boy!!

Coming from someone who doesn't have a horse but loves them deeply, I have a cat that never left mt side until he passed away I know the price you pay for love and if I could go back in time right now and change something about my life with my cat, I wouldn't because no matter how much it hurt when they have to leave, the memories that they gave you can never be replaced. The love you gave them and they gave back will forever be cherished by you in your heart. No matter how painful it is today you love it all the pain, the love, the tears, and the friendship that will never be broken.

I cried. I never cry. This made me cry. It reminds me so much of my old loan hacking pony Megan, who sadly passed away three months ago today from sarcoids. She was only 21. She taught me so much, from tying her up to mounting from the ground. But her owner took her back. I never got to say that final goodbye.
i have a stally appaloosa like him,we had to put him down cause he broke his leg,I miss him so much,I still have all our ribbons we won,all the photos we took,all the memories we made,I miss him with every beat of my heart,and those memories keep rolling round in my head when a day without him is to hard to swallow,I wish I still had him,I ride his foal he sired,using the tack I used on him,and it feels like eh is there,watching over me,I miss him so much!

Gosh this is killing me... I know this was from forever ago but i had to put my old mare down a few months ago only a week or two after my birthday which was our 10 year anniversary. That's one of those things that you can physically feel yourself break into a million pieces, god did that horse teach me so much I miss her so damn much... ❤️

Horses are truly are best best friends and when that is took away it feels like the world has fall on you... I know how it feels my horse die in 2015 and then nothing went my way it was awful and I cried every day for along time and then only when things reminded me of he... Then we found 2 other horse that we were going to get but both times they were sold and the people didn’t tell us to after it was so bad that I cried and said that I wish he was still here... Then it got better!!! I found a horse that when we got her I thought that it was like he (my best friend “the horse”) was telling me that “this is what you need and you got to get over me keep me with but have fun and live your life. You saved me I had the best life with you that was the best and last 4 years of my life!”. And I thought that I was done with horses but it changed when I got my new horse!
i lost my horse justice a week ago and she was my best friend i had her for 11 years [Since i was 3] she was the most lovable and gentle horse ever!! i miss her so much...........

I know how u feel. I lost my horse Coco. She was my whole life.. I had her since 2008 i was a little baby... And so was she.. I lost her about 2 months ago and i still cant move on.. U guys have no idea how some of us feel loosing our horses.. We loved them with all if are hearts i rode her with saddle and off... I went out everyday to see her. I love her still . I went to the barn and she was in her stall dead... Its a lot of pain loosing our horses. I get that! But stay strong... Coco meant the entire world to me.. I have hundreds of pictures and videos of us on the track and riding. Till this day i miss Coco. My favirot picture of me and her is when we were about to take a ride up a mountain and the sun was going down and she learned how to kiss and we were "kissing" And i l loved her with all my heart I will always miss her!

I sold my horse like a 1-2 months back. I didn’t get to say goodbye because she got picked up when I was at school. The last time I saw her I was in a hurry to be somewhere else so I didn’t even pet her. I regret not doing more with her. I regret not spending more time with her but my mental state was so bad I didn’t spend a lot of time with her. The last summer vacation I had with her was amazing and I miss it so much. I wish I spent more time with her so I could keep her. Marple I miss you. I know that you have a nice home now with people who take good care of you but it still hurts so much.

I had a dog his name was max he was beautiful but he got older...he lost his hearing..... one day he went on to the road I was calling and calling him but he couldn't hear me I was too late a tractor had came and he was no more....Max we always loved you and we still do....my school is the best I buried him there...there was a whole ceremony at my school with teachers and all my school friends and enemies but they had to come because they couldn't leave school....I only had you for 9 years and they were the best years of my life....r.i.p max 2008-2018 we love you
