Have you tried Poundland &/or the post office for boxes John? I know you’ve ordered some from Amazon now, but if I can’t find the right size box, I either ask convenience stores (newsagents) if they have any smaller boxes floating around out the back, or I buy a few rolls of bubble wrap & brown paper from Poundland & use them for my packages, I sometimes use a smaller box for the delicate / breakable bits, & the squishy stuff go beside the box & get wrapped in bubble wrap ! Then I wrap the lot in brown paper. I’m sure the post office raise some eyebrows on my bizarre looking packages lol! Just some tips for the future! I’m a ‘newbie’ to your channel but have been thoroughly enjoying your videos, thank you for sharing your lives with us :) I also have 2 genetic chronic disabilities, currently receive no help & I’m starting to struggle now. Would it be helpful if Tracey takes her allergy meds with her daily meds each day if you ask a doctor? I have asthma too (allergy related) & quite bad allergies. Hello Laura, and Welcome to the RAL family. We are so glad you found us, Everyone here is very kind and is always willing to share hugs and help out! So never be afraid to ask for help or for hugs when you need them! We actually had lots of boxes a couple of weeks ago I had started to save them up from boxes sent to me via amazon etc, but when we started tidying up we threw them away with out thinking, silly us. We didnt think of poundland thats a great idea for next time. I just had to wrap up anouther gift for someone and did it using bubble wrap and a jiffy bag that worked ok. as it was a few small items. I am not aloud to take my allergy tablets every day, the doctors are worried that they could interact with my epilepsy meds. So I am only ment to take them on days I go out when pollen is high. Advice wise from Doctor is to advoid going out when polen is high but if I do that I be stuck in all the time. So I have to take some chances to live life. I acsept the concequesnces so I can live a good life. But at the same time try to be a little bit careful. Yeyy your from Cambridge to, Mammacas is also from Cambridge, and Abbi is from near Cambridge. It is a very small world and you have found a very lovely community here at RAL, everyone here is amazingly supportive and caring. I hope you will enjoy being here with us all. TC, hugs, Stacey K xx
