I just wanted to share a story with ya all I was 5 years old when I found a pigeon who was almost killed by a cat My brother was 9 yrs old that time We aided that pigeon really he was in a very bad condition his intestines were visible when we found it my landlord told me that I should throw the pigeon because it was barely going to survive but we aided it and it took almost 8 months for it to recover when it did so my mother asked me to let it go which I did but at the evening time I was playing cricket with my brother I still remember I was bowling when the same pigeon returned and sat on my head. Everyone thought that the pigeon would not return after that morning but it did and now it lives with me and my family we have built him a home and he flies in morning and comes back in evening.

First understand about nature, evolution and human psychology developed over ages. Secondly, for those who are talking bullshit like typical Indian mindset.. So first read about Indian tradition. Indian culture is about respecting nature and other creatures. Infact if you do bit research then you will find that number traditions were made to remind people respecting creatutes actually and nature. The irony is that during the age of slavery we lost our traditional behaviour. The rural population became more superstitious. The urban population went in completely different path. The more we became global and close to western the more we became disrespectful to other creatures. We didn't adopt the good traits of western world but definitely the bad habits. It just because western world started taking interest in nature so we again started taking interest in respecting nature. For example just compare the Romans empire treatments of animals and Mauryan empire works for animals.
