Budapest is a city FULL of football stadiums! I visited three different ones in this video as I ran around the Capital City of Hungary in this Vlog!
The stadiums I visited are as follows:
1) Puskas Arena - Home of the Hungarian National Football Team
2) Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium - Home of MTK Budapest (They play in NB II)
3) Groupama Arena - Home of Ferencvárosi TC (They play in NB I)
I'd recommend coming to visit these stadiums once the ban has been lifted on European football.
I was supposed to watch MTK Budapest play against Vasas today but that game was played behind closed doors. Ferencvárosi TC v Kaposvári Rákóczi FC was also played today behind closed doors.
Thanks for watching. Please LIKE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE. Oh... and don't forget the notifications bell!

Three stadiums in one day! Let me know what these are like on matchdays if you've ever been!
There are never any matches in puskas yet because its the national teams stadium, ferencvaros is very good as its the biggest club in hungary however mtk budapest basically has no fans at all
@@bg_1175 It's cool how they're all quite close though. When I was there Covid stopped me from going to a game. I loved Budapest though and will be back one day to watch some football. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@FootyAdventures Come again when Ferencváros plays at home against our rival Újpest and when the fans are back. Crazy atmosphere.
A trick : watch series at flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Esteban Nicolas Definitely, I've been watching on flixzone} for since november myself :D
At 4:25 that building is Papp László Budapest Sportaréna (Papp László was a 3 time olympic champion boxer)
Puskas stadium looks strange but big! The 2nd ground (not even going to try to spell it) looks interesting, not something you normally see! Groupama arena looks very nice! Nice Video mate! I get a Bundesliga vibe from the groupama arena! The cat knows what's up!
Haha thanks mate!! Yeah 3 very different stadiums. The cat has been the star of the show here!
They kept the original brickwork from the old stadium!
Way to keep up the fantastic content considering the current circumstances! Stay safe🤝
Cheers Fergie Time! Hopefully I can do a few more videos like this one in the meantime. Keep safe across the pond!!
Running through 3 stadiums in 1 day. Not a bad day at all with this current situation. Appreciate you are trying to keep up with the content! Stay safe.
Thanks Kyoo! More videos coming soon...... I hope!!
Next to the Puskás Stadium, you saw the László Papp Sports Arena, where concerts and other things take place without football, starting with handball matches. You could have gone to the museum at Ferencváros, it's there next to the shop.
Thanks for letting me know. I wish I'd seen the museum I wonder if it was open. Hopefully I can come back to Hungary and watch some games soon 👌
@@FootyAdventures Monday: HOLIDAY
Tuesday-Friday: 10:00 to 18:00
Saturday-Sunday: 10:00 to 16:00
The Fradi Museum is closed on public holidays and domestic match days!
Come to a Ferencváros-Újpest match on Üllői út. I claim you are going home from the best match of your life. Also look back at your recent matches! ;) :)
@@csabatausz5530 there was a match that day so maybe it was closed 🤷♂️ cool thanks for the advice! I'll come to that fixture one day for sure! Thanks for the support mate!!!
@@FootyAdventuresMaybe it was training.
@@csabatausz5530 yeah maybe man
I'm going to Budapest for the first time in late August, thanks for this video I'll make sure to check out at least one of these grounds. Been loving the content recently also, keep it up!
Cheers Adam, this was a long time ago now! JUST before covid. I'll have to go back out and actually watch some football there! Cheers!
Great video! Hungarians love you!
Thank you Kristof! I love your country!
I love Hungarian football history they did have the greatest team ever whith puskas and they have players like szaloboszlia who is just 19 they are already calling him the wonder boy whome they called vialli who ended up a great player watch Hungary vs Turkey the best free kick for years Hungarian football is on the up again and im going to make a lot of money mark my words ive been studying Hungarian football for years and they are getting better but surely fact . My biggest tip
Dominik Szoboszlai mate, not Szaloboszlai 😉
its SZOBOSZLAI
The MTK stadium opened in 2015 after the original stadium was demolished in 2014.
The old stadium was used in the film "Escape To Victory" (starring Michael Caine and Sylvester Stallone) as the setting, supposed to be Paris, for the Allies v Wermacht football match.
Oh cool! Thanks for letting me know!
So glad I visited the old stadium when I went to Budapest
Our little pal making an appearance! 😂 Well done! You are doing a great job with the current situation!
Thanks Gems! Big up eeny
The other stadium next to the Puskas is Budapest Sport Arena. Its a litle bit smaller, but is's covered.
Ah cool thanks for letting me know!
The arena in the background of the Puskas is the Papp Laszlo concert Arena. It's too late now, but there were actually loads of games that you could watch from outside the stadium during Covid!
Devo you couldn’t watch the MTK game! Definitely one to go back to. 👍🏼
I know! Devo I couldn't see the TLC. I'll be back!
Quality stuff mate great content 🙌🏻
Thanks mate 🙌
The other building at the Puskas Arena is the Papp Laszlo Budapest Sportarena. It is basically the same as the Puskas but for indoor sports.
Ah cool, thank you for letting me know mate!!
Quality video mate, miss ya back here in Aus. Who's your pick for the corona cup?
Cheers Harty! Hopefully be back for some A League soon! Haha Corona cup 😷🏆
I managed to visit 4 stadiums in one day when I went to Budapest. Honved, Ferencvaros, MTK and Ujpest. I managed to walk inside 3 of the grounds without anyone stopping me. The only one I couldn't access was the Ferencvaros one but that was ok as I had a ticket for a match the following day! 😂 When I was in the Ujpest ground the team were having a training session. Great if I was a spy for the opposition.
Keep it up mate, brilliant
Thanks mate, I'll try!!
wow, thank you
Beautiful baby cat 🙂
I love you from Hungary.
THANK YOU!!
When you did this video, in 2020, Ferencváros was in the Champions League group stage
Puskás, MTK, Groupama - one common - Depeche Mode has already performed in each stadium you visited in Budapest.
Haha nice what a fact!!
the structure u saw next to the Puskas Arena was a indoor arena i forgot its name but its capacity is about 13 thousand
Ah cool, thanks for letting me know Albert!
@@FootyAdventures It's "Papp László Arena" it hosts concerts and sport events whatever it's needed for. Like ice hockey, futsal, boxing everything
@@DudiMr cool thanks for letting me know 🙌👍
Where is the Vasas FC stadium?
I didnt realise it was so close!
National sport arena in the distance
Thanks for letting me know man 👌
@1:40 look at that scottish flag on the fence👀😉
Ferenc is the Hungarian equivalent of Francis. For this reason, it shouldn't be too difficult to memorise, that the c in Ferenc is pronounced exactly as the c in Francis.
Nice! I'll remember for next time
Be careful 💪
Thanks, you too!
4:24 is Kőrcsarnok
No, there is the Papp László Sportaréna.
The largest sports hall in the country. Capacity: 12 500
