I have observed that all 100cc bikes were and still are very sturdy , reliable, economic and efficient i.e. have great mileage. Then comes 125cc segment which has been taken by 100cc and 125cc gearless scooters. In our locality, people for smaller city 'short local' rides prefer scooter as ladies are more comfortable using Activa or similar brand. It is here Bajaj did not capitalized the vacuum created by exit of Kinetic which Honda Activa filled and was the only scooter for quite some time. TVS Jupiter has caught up since then and is a good scooter, but sales are less then Activa. It is the 150cc segment that is now preferred by youths to choose a bike instead of scooter. Though Bajaj has relaunched Chetak, and there is Vespa too, I don't know the market share. If Bajaj has launched gearless scooter within a year of Activa's launch, it would have been a different story. Now It is a matter of choice of Bike over scooter for shorter rides. Though bikes are great in terms of balance, road grip, stability, maneuvering, better control due to manual gear especially in rainy season and bigger tyres, scooters offer a big storage (dikki) under the seat and on the foot rest. One can 50-70 kg + loads on scooters like Activa, a preferred scooter as it was all metallic and so there is no need of replacing fiber body. One can happily leave the dent and scratches unrepaired 😃, especially of you are a job worker, small businessman owing small workshop manufacturing machine parts, or plastic parts which require to be moved to a few job workers before they are ready for dispatch. Scooters can be used by both ladies and gents. Bikes are good for commuting longer distances, especially if one is travelling on highway and have to go down the road which is on a little lower level (2-3 inches lower) then Bitumin / concrete road. Climbing up the bitumin road is easier and safer in bikes due to bigger tyres then in scooter. To conclude, 100c Bike for commuting (except on highways) - preferred by those who wish to have low maintenance and high average. 125cc bikes - for those who need extra power and pickup - less popular. 100cc and 125cc scooters - Better for small distance travels - popular among ladies as they can carry groceries, etc easily and for job workers as they can carry loads of 50+ kg easily and climb over bridges easily. 150cc - most preferred segment for youths or those who travel on highways. They also prefer heavy bikes as stability is required while riding on highway. The choices are naked, semi-sports and sports bikes. Preferred by bike lovers those who wish to ride long distances. 150cc + segments like 200cc, 220cc, 350cc - cruiser bikes for long distance travelling. God for climbing slopes on hilly areas with heavy luggage. A choice of Bike Enthusiasts and travelers. Avenger is the only 160cc cruiser bike available. They need larger parking space and wider diameter for U turn. Hence the sales depends upon the percentage of population preferring which segments. Higher cc bikes may have more profit, but sales are less. Their parts and servicing is costly as compared to 100cc bikes. Need to know which is the best selling segment. Most local show rooms are full of scooters, which 1-2 bikes. Some do not even have bikes for display. Thank you for all those who managed to read this long rambling 😊 Also thank you for such analysis.

Great content as always 💯
Bajaj Auto
Indian automobiles industry should look after the retention of its dealer's efficient employee, that they also grow and earn, also take their valuable suggestions to become even much bigger in future.

Bought Pulsar N160 last week 🤩😁🔥❤️
Bajaj has done wonders, platina is the most fuel efficient bike in the world! Platina 100 millege is 95kmpl.
Congratulations for 100k
Make video on new startups in Indian two wheeler (Electric)

MashaAllah......🎉🎉🎉🎉 .I'm really impressed .....as my nation is still backward in bike industry.....🇵🇰
Bajaj and Tvs are improving 👍👍👍but still they have a long way to go to match Honda. Only people who have driven both brands comprehensively can apprehend.
👍 point
I have ridden both...19 20 ka hi fark hai...wo bhi price point se bajaj / tcs wins
@@animeloverszunction pulsar lover 😁
@@animeloverszunction tcs 😂
The pulsar was game changer for bajaj,Bajaj have work lot on quality in last few year, and Bajaj vehicles are very affordable as compared to other model, that the success reason
Amazing content .. deserve all the subscriptions
Proud to have an avenger 220, running like a smooth as butter from 2013 to till date.

Our first scooter was Bajaj super after that Bajaj chatak and in 2007 we bought Bajaj pulsar 200 and my next bike i wish it would be Bajaj Bike 😉
I have 2013 Bajaj Pulsar 150.... it still Looks & Runs like a New one
My father have 20yers Bajaj discovery bike 😀but still running and fine condition and still giving good milage
we need to lauch bikes with higher cc's. most of our indian two wheeler company have their models in 100-150 cc's. we do have pulsar with 180,200 220 cc. but i think there is a market for 350 or 500 cc bikes in india. i think TVS and bajaj need to work on a 500cc or 1000 cc bike that can rival the hayabusa's,CBR's and M1's.
My father's Bajaj boxer still working perfectly 😊
I loved ur content brother, but pls reduce speed or give subtitles for those who are not good in Hindi
Very nice and unique 😊 information like ever
