Michael Jackson: The genius artiste. The beautiful man. The wonderful person. The great human. Ever like him, no one like him. We love you always, we miss all of you Michael…
I was at the 1984 Victory Tour !!!! If you werent there, you definitely missed out.The Victory tour was awesome to see.Excitment was in the air.Michael and his brothers were on top of the world.
The Jacksons in this press were united. Michael announcement was very much showing all Jackson fans that they are loved by donating proceeds to charity.
LOOK HOW BUEATIFUL THEY ARE LOVE THIS ERA I WAS 13 AND WENT TO THE VICTORY TOUR IN 1984 WITH MY FAMILY WHEN IT CAME TO CHICAGO AT THE CHICAGO STADIUM I REMEMBER BECAUSE IT WAS SO MUCH TRAFFIC😂 I HAD SO MANY JACKSON AND MICHAEL POSTERS ON MY WALL WOW WHEN WE HAD REAL TALENTED PEOPLE IN ENTERTAINMENT I STILL HAVE SOME OF MY OLD POSTERS. THIS WAS WHEN A CONCERT WAS WORTH GOING TO AND MUSICIANS WORTH EVERY DIME ❤
@@paradoxical_taco Its kinda complicated....by this time period MJ really wanted to distance himself from his brothers for a few reasons, one of them was that they wanted to cash on his success, even his parents were deep in debt before the Victory tour. So the brothers had an idea to do a tour with MJ as to attract audience and hopefully solve their financial issues (they werent doing so hot either financially). MJ initially refused but after some coaxing from his mom he relented. From the start the planning of the tour was problematic, awful promotioning, awful ticket price distribution, missing timelines... partially responsible was the crazy hair guy Don King whom the Jackson bros didnt like and in a lesser part from Michael Jackson himself. He wanted to start his own solo tour as well asap, so he did fewer shows with the rest. As for donating his earnings? that was to save his image from the ticket prices fiasco (they were unreasonably expensive and people started complaining). Things are never what the seem, the bros wanted fast money, Joe Jackson wanted fast money and Michael Jackson didnt want to ruin his minty clean persona.
@@helenl4619 Yes, I actually have since learned this information (and more). I just posted about it on another MJ video. I am so glad you replied to this because I have been wanting to delete this comment but couldn't remember which video I’d posted it to. I have not been fond of Jermaine since MJ’s trial but have learned that Randy might be the worst of the lot. Have you watched “Michael Jackson: Finding Neverland”? It's on here & Amazon Prime. Based on a book written by two security guards hired by MJ when he got back from Bahrain, and who became close friends of him & his kids, and who got pushed aside by AEG folks despite MJ's wishes, it's a good look a MJ's life during this period, what he was going through, his love for his children, and more. It also shows an incident with Randy that’s only the tip of the iceberg regarding what kind of person he is, if even half what I’ve read is true. And I always take anything I read about pretty much any celeb with a grain of salt, because of how wrong the press has been and still is 💯 wrong about Michael. But I trust this film & think they’re at least right about Randy’s character even if not every individual thing is fact. The film is also good if you want to see MJ portrayed through the eyes of two people who genuinely loved him and were immensely loyal to him.
@@helenl4619 BTW, Michael had nothing to do with creating that awful ticket system for the Victory Tour. The only Jackson opposed to it was MJ, those greedy brothers of his wanted it. I think only MJ opposed Don King at least at the start. The brothers had almost finished a deal with Quaker Oats to be the corporate sponsor when Don King came in with a Pepsi contact that was a done deal, forcing the Jacksons to back out of the Quaker deal. MJ didn’t want to do the whole damn thing, the Victory album and tour - all he got from from it was no money (from the tour) and lifelong pain, surgery after surgery, and other problems from the third degree burns from the Pepsi commercial he didn’t want to do.
Anybody out there that wasnt born yet i dont think you understand how big michael jackson was in the 80s he was everywhere and what made him special he was the first black singer that everybody loved no matter what color you were i remember christmas when i was a kid and unwrapping my michael jackson dolls and microphone from ljn jackson brung people together nobody cared what race you were it didnt matter and thats why he was special
BLANKET IS 18 TODAY CAN YOU BELIEVE IT MICHAEL WOULD BE PROUD OF HIS BABY NO IN THE SPOTLIGHT LIVING PRIVATE AND GETTING HIS EDUCATION CONGRATULATIONS BLANKIE❤️
+barnesfam I know this is an old comment but I think the press was pissed off because the tickets were expensive and whole system of buying the tickets was kinda weird. Even the Jacksons didn’t like it.
BadAssMacmillan Michael was actually against the price and the system of buying tickets. He was outscored during a family meeting and it things weren't changed until Michael spoke with the tour promoter. The press blamed Michael since he was the most popular.
Michael Jackson un hombre tan bello, tan talentoso, pero tan frágil que se dejo llevar por mucha maldad empezando por la de su propia familia.. Que Dios te tenga en su santa gloria, desde Venezuela.. Te amamos
Wow such a different time, I was born the year thriller came out. I think this is partly propganda to promote publicity for the tour. They always say good or bad publicity is publicity. The media was a tinge bit rude, but I like the interaction.
I love that Michael gave his part of money to charity, he's my baby 😻 but maybe it would be better if he gave his portion up entirely so that the tickets could be cheaper, since that was the whole issue.
I'll never forget the awful press he got for that album and tour. It lost millions and promoters were not happy. However, still darker days lay ahead for the innocent guests who were entrusted to his care at Neverland Ranch...
FROM MICHAEL JACKSON THE JACKSON 5 THE JACKSONS TO JUSTIN BIEBER SELENA GOMEZ CARDI B LIZZO KANYE FAKE REVVV WEST THE KARTRASHIANS JENNERS TRASH REALITY FAKE TV AUTO TUNE NO INSTRUMENTS SO CALLED SINGERS LORD WHY DO YOU PUNISH US SOMETIMES ☹️
MJ decided to donate all proceeds of their concert to charity bcoz he was very intimidated by the press's reports😂😂😂 why is it that the press were always the"bad guys"
Actually the shows were loosing funds due to fraud and the way it was being promoted (Don King) was the promoter at the time and we all know how crooked Don King is might as well call him “Con King”, Also while Prince was getting a true respect he definitely deserved during ‘84, MJ was still at his Popularity peak in ‘84 I would say ‘87 onwards is when he started declining in popularity, I remember it vividly
God, take me back to 1984!!! lol
Me too I was not even alive but damn I want a time machine
I was just 1+ month old from this video. ;( .
Michael Jackson was such a kind caring , and loving person. That is why I love and miss him so much.

Wait how did he say the bad and thriller puns when bad came out in 1987😳
“Bad” was a slang term back then, everyone was saying it before MJ even came out with the album of the same slang term
Michael Jackson is hottest man on 🌎

Nadien a donado más dinero a beneficencia que M. J. Eso es asi, y que yo sepa, esta registrado asi en el Libro Guinnes.
Wow! That guy at 3;45 might be a time traveler! But it's just a tape recorder not a cell phone.
MJ decided to donate all proceeds of their concert to charity bcoz he was very intimidated by the press's reports😂😂😂 why is it that the press were always the"bad guys"
That press conference was an acting. The promotores knew The Tour was loosing againts Prince's Purple Rain film and Michael was loosing fans....
What the fuck are on about
