Natural Killer Cells are the most aggressive white cells in the immune system. They make up about 5% to 15% of the total lymphocyte circulating population. They target tumor cell and protect against a wide variety of infectious microbes. Natural Killer Cells are a very important factor in the fight against cancer. Immune Stimulation is the key to keeping the white blood cell count high and giving the Natural Killer Cells a chance to fight cancer and other diseases. Animation created by Kyle Thornthwaite - email: kyle@kt-3d.com - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
No need to look further for heroes, they are inside everyone. They are always fighting countless battles without us noticing. The only reward we can give is to live healthy to lessen their burden which also benefits us. When the time comes that they lose the battle, we fall alongside them. So take care of your body and don't let the invaders win, defend your kingdom 👊
im convinced to stop smoking for this comment...but wait..i still have one stick😂😂
😭
Watch cells at work black to change your life 😂
Benefits are for serious diseases only
I Don't agree with you can kill your immune system by sharing your glass so do not do that but some drugs may harm your immune system like, steroids it kill your immune system you should take care of it why won't you take care
Natural killer cell: Omae wa mou shindeiru.
Cancer cell: Nani?!?!
@Dakota Kirth Haha! My thoughts exactly at first when I searched for 'macrophage'... It's from an Anime series, called 'Cells at Work' ;)
Locator has this unique thing of spreading to other cells and taken him over and making them to spread the other cells even with instant kill cells by the way their white blood cells
Bacteriophages: omae wa mou shindeiru
Bacteria superbug: *NANI?!*
this is what the covid vaccine should be based on
I find it extraordinary how our body does this 24/7 without us even knowing.
Natural killer sails.
😂
so bad

I was literally about to comment these exact words. Kudos
I love you NKC........I hope the NK cells in my body are listening
Me too ... Lol
Omg
they won’t, cells can only use the sense of touch
Only anime would turn a ball into a buff action girl with a machete.
wdym they were always buff action girls with giant machetes
btw cells don't even have a fixed shape😂
Where's the machete?
1:29 she used it to stab the infected cell :)
*saber
Great video, really helps people understand this subject when they can reference a visual aid. Extremely well done.
This was helpful, I thank you with a deep intention of gratitude. Thank you Kyle, you are a lifesaver
Im here because of that anime
Cells at Work?
We all too xD
Am not I dun watch anime
They're boring
And not fun, extremely inaccurate, exaggerated and thus unrealistic
Cured my depression...
Found a new reason to live 🤘

Hey!! That’s too much slipping! You going senile or what?
@@s21fluqmanafiq33 who are you to talk?
T-cytotoxic cells and NK cell 😂😂
*My body:* Say hello to my little friend!
Will natural killer cells protecc platelets loli?
Dhanar Santika I dunno but I will.
Indirectly. By helping the human survive tumors and virus infections. Yeah
no she’ll defeat cancer-kun!😂😂
Fantastic video that gives a good overview of the Natural Killer Cell. A good watch for those studying for VCE biology.
Thanks good guys Killer Cells. You are doing a great job in there!
I had natural killer cell lymphocytosis!! As a kid I needed a bone marrow transplant to get rid of it, because about 1.5 years of chemo didn’t kill it when I went to school on oxygen. Also swelled up my spleen and I needed that out earlier.
I just wanted to show off I got the rare disease
@TheAngiemcl At the end of the video the NKC is depicted destroying "sheep" red blood cells, which was an experiment conducted using the NKC back in 1972.
I guess all comments here is because of Cell At Work?.
If he say Killer Cell one more time!!!
lol haha

Sorry! My elbow slipped!
Thankyou brother for uploading this types of vedio and upload again more vedios related space and time
Very well-explained and informative...thumbs up for this great work
Absolutely amazing animation, which is so very informative and educational!
this is awesome thanks you learn some thing new everyday
*Thers a war inside my body that i never knew damn!.*
Thank you killer cells forever grateful, yours sincerely.

the video's so awesome! thanks for uploading it:)
Thanks. This video helped me alot for an assignment :)
Helped me a lot
These other WBCs are things like Eosinophils, Neutrophils, Basophils, Monocytes, and Macrophages. They all have unique roles in the bodies immune system and special ways of destroying the pathogens they come in contact with. For example, macrophages eat stuff.
good encyclopedia!!,thank you!!!!!!!!!
thank you
Well said. I agree wholeheartedly.
Our body is so precious. It's amazing we hand this kind of cells in our body.
thanks for the info
Actually, Natural Killer cells are a very specific type of white blood cell (WBC). WBCs are divided into a number of types that have various functions. NK cells are from the lymphocyte family, which is one class of WBC. There are also B, T, and cytotoxic T cells that are in the lymphocyte family. B cells mainly produce antibodies, T cells help activate your immune system. NK cells help fight viruses and any pathogens that get inside your cells. Other types of WBCs have other purposes.
great video! definantely helped :D
@MeatfortoeatALT
Actually, emotions are electro-magnetic frequencies generated by the heart. It also generates neuropeptides and releases them into the blood stream, which the brain uses as fuel/food. So they kind of work in tandem, as you would imagine.
can I share this/use it for a blog post?
Man NKCs are so badass
Thank you body for working 24/7 to keep me safe... :]
Moringa powder has a fantastic array of vitamins, antioxidants,
and will strengthen our body’s immune system.
Personally I have a burden for all the suffering children
in this world that could benefit dearly from this information.
So I want to thank you for this excellent material.
thanks
@715andy715 no your thinking about the adaptive immune system, as you stated in a comment before, that system tries to identify the class 2 MHC, the NK cells tries to identify the class 1 MHC.
At 0:25. I thought that that type of virus (the syringe looking virus) were only bacteria viruses, not eukaryote viruses.
it is .... but they used it because it looks more creepy than a ball with mushrooms.
The natural killer cell is the equivalent of a gamer in a zombie apocalypse.
Thx......
@ace666999 no t cells are part of the adaptive immune system and will only react with specific mhc class 2 complexes where as natural killer,as stated in the video, are non specific and will kill anything with either a bad or no mhc class 1 complexes (if i remember correctly). please feel free to correct me if im wrong. hope that helped

The mechanisms regulating the release of enkephalins and neuropeptide Y (NPY) from cardiac nerve fibers... Following electrical stimulation of the accelerans nerve, but not of the vagus nerve, the peptides were detected in the perfusate indicating their release from sympathetic nerve endings.
SOOO FREAKING COOL!
@ace666999 no t cells are part of the adaptive immune system and will only react with specific mhc class 2 complexes where as natural killer,as stated in the video, are non specific and will kill anything with either a bad or no mhc class 1 or mhc class 2s complexes (if i remember correctly). please feel free to correct me if im wrong. hope that helped
Amazing. 👍👍👍👍👍
I have CMV and EBV also started shingles how does killer cells help this war in my body. I am taking anti viral med and immunoglobin injections. Yet shingles showed up this year. Thanks for the information in animation I am a visual learner. God bless you and more to help our bodies understanding.
Cool!
@flammapurita no, NK cell isn't CTL lymphocyte. NK cells belong to the innate immunity sistem, like macrophages and neutrophiles. They are morphologically lymphocytes but they haven't immunoglobulinic or anthygene receptors like T cells or B cells do :) B and T cells belong to specific immunity system.
That was awesome
@715andy715 ur right, somewhat, ur thinking about the antigen responsive system. In that process the class 2 MHC is attempted to be identified. (I THINK :P)
so awesome ! :) great vid! :P and seriously it would make a cool game
the study of life is just amazing.
Nice video 👌
awesome anime! good job indeed!
So satisfying.
My body really works hard for me😢
Lemme go drink some water and eat some veggies to say thankyou 😊
OMG! I can just imagine Natural Killer Cells as Assassins in real life!
At 2:27 of the NK video part 1. Why NK cells kill sheep red bood cells and not self red blood cells, since both lack MHC1?
best video ever
mr. c ayyyyyyyyyyy
we need this now
A Very nice Video
God made our bodies, so knowing this is amazing, never knew the body could function like this
I know God create us and made the Human Body which our Immune Cells protect us from Invaders.
However, I got this theory, which I know is in the Bible, what if Adam and Eve were Patients Zero of Cancer Cell, which their Gens pass down from them to us in the Modern Era?
I've seen way too many youtube videos that somehow get debates and arguments going on in their comment section. Can people please just comment on the video's content and not bring in religion? It just starts up way too much drama. Great video and animation, I really enjoyed it. :)
when NK cells attack can they cause inflammation in the cancer site I did the cesium protocol recently and now have horrible inflammation and pain at the site ?? it started 4 weeks after ending the program any advice / input welcome
I love how he says "cells".
this would make a sickass video game!
Lol i think this video is a very good video i think ill show it to my science class cuz we learning about this
cool video, but it would be nice to name the chemicals and receptors NKs attach to. thanks anyway. :)
انا بحب جدا المقاطع التوضيحية
!!!!!!!!!!! شكرا لك من قلبي
THANKS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET INF
this show how mother 3 and natural killers can be educational :)
Okay but sorry to bother, but I have no idea what is a natual killer cell ._.
Is it bad or is it good :)?
Please reply.
Sorry, but I keep thinking of the version of NK in "Cells at Work." :)
fabulous ............
@wypmed also, those cells do not have the MHC class 1 complex/receptor (any healthy cell expresses this complex which is the ID thing that madistrat was talkin about) so this would suggest those cell are cancerous and in turn harmful to the body
Came here too after Cells at work! 😂

"the limiting factor in the proper activity of our lymphocytes is the availability of Gluthation (Gsh)"AIDS is essentially a T-cell dysfunction .Patients typically suffer from low GSH levels and especially from low T-Cell Gsh account. find out more by me :)
Can we artificially induce any donor's purified NK cells so that hiv could be destroyed without having to face immune reaction.
@onlyparadise why do you relate software to life?
Can Nucleotide +Oligopeptide +Amino Acid supplementation help stimulate NK Cells production?
But most importantly the cells got your bacc
just WOW!!!
Nice.
Killer cells are so badass - I think I have a little crush...
A lot of people have already said it, but I can't help myself...
Natural killer sail.
@BeyondPaperChase No. They are two different types of T cells.
Natural killer
Natural killer T cells (NKT cells) are a special kind of lymphocyte that bridges the adaptive immune system with the innate immune system.
Cytotoxic
Cytotoxic T cells (TC cells, or CTLs) destroy virally infected cells and tumor cells, and are also implicated in transplant rejection. These cells are also known as CD8+ T cells since they express the CD8 glycoprotein at their surface.
they are different! good ques.
Its amazing
Box Hill Tafe thanks you
That's cool,
