I was at this show 4th row centre when AIC opened for Ozzy after Sepultura’s set and this is my favourite version of Man In the Box. Layne spent half the show on crutches and half in a wheelchair. He had the security guard pick him up off the stage and sit him right in front of us after he invited some of the audience to come up and jam. Meeting Layne was awesome, but we could tell that his demons had already gotten to him and I was surprised that he lived another ten years after. RIP Layne Staley.
