Most of Bob's music is about coming together and celebrating our differences together, its why it can be enjoyed by anyone.
The thing I love is that Bob Marley lived the true rags to riches story and never forgot who he was. It's inspiring that someone can come from not only living in poverty, but also growing up facing discrimination for being mixed race, to become a world wide artist. Doing it all with a message of love and equality when life didn't treat him with either growing up.
The video reminds me of my brother. We didn't get along too well, but after I got injured and had to use crutches, he snuck me some grass and we bonded while smoking with an aluminum can out a window. I think that the first step to finding peace is to realize that you are going to have problems. Peace isn't about a lack of difficulty. It is the attitude with which you carry your burdens. In the video the pig wakes up to find his milk gone and then he walks into a trap set by the wolf. While taking refuge in the tree he decides to share with his adversary who certainly intended to do him harm. For this the wolf rewards him by smoking all of his dope. The pig laughs it off. Then the wolf offers to share his bountiful pick-nick basket and then proceeds to eat everything but the basket leaving nothing for the pig. In the end by not loosing his cool the pig rides off into the sunset on the shoulders of his new found friend. At any point the pig could have lost his cool. He could have yelled and stomped his feet when the birds drank his milk but he chose not to do that. It is difficult to not let circumstances and the actions of others drive your emotions. Of course you also have to set boundaries and find creative ways to deal with toxic people. One way is by understanding their needs and motivations. Remember the wolf has a story too. But what do I know? ✌

The thing I love is that Bob Marley lived the true rags to riches story and never forgot who he was. It's inspiring that someone can come from not only living in poverty, but also growing up facing discrimination for being mixed race, to become a world wide artist. Doing it all with a message of love and equality when life didn't treat him with either growing up.

The video reminds me of my brother. We didn't get along too well, but after I got injured and had to use crutches, he snuck me some grass and we bonded while smoking with an aluminum can out a window. He passed away last September but I'll always remember the time we spent together. Rest in peace Logan ☮️❤️

My little sister has been struggling with depression for 3 years. She just turned 17 and this is literally one of her favorite videos to watch when she's feeling low. I love that girl so much man, I wish her depression would just go away. She's already attempted suicide once and it pains me every time I think about it.

I think that the first step to finding peace is to realize that you are going to have problems. Peace isn't about a lack of difficulty. It is the attitude with which you carry your burdens. In the video the pig wakes up to find his milk gone and then he walks into a trap set by the wolf. While taking refuge in the tree he decides to share with his adversary who certainly intended to do him harm. For this the wolf rewards him by smoking all of his dope. The pig laughs it off. Then the wolf offers to share his bountiful pick-nick basket and then proceeds to eat everything but the basket leaving nothing for the pig. In the end by not loosing his cool the pig rides off into the sunset on the shoulders of his new found friend. At any point the pig could have lost his cool. He could have yelled and stomped his feet when the birds drank his milk but he chose not to do that. It is difficult to not let circumstances and the actions of others drive your emotions. Of course you also have to set boundaries and find creative ways to deal with toxic people. One way is by understanding their needs and motivations. Remember the wolf has a story too. But what do I know? ✌

I just went through a horrible medical scare, and it came out great, but the night before, I listened to "Three Little Birds". It helped more than you could imagine. This is just a wonderful song, written, sung and perpetuated by wonderful, talented people.
I sang it to myself when I was in the MRI machine. I'm claustrophobic plus was scared about the results. It helped.
