Today my little sister and I celebrated my mom's 65th and last birthday. She has stage 4 cervical cancer and the doctors told us she has 3 weeks to live. I am broken yet this song (her favorite song) speaks volumes, "No woman no cry" "Everything will be alright". Love you mom, still here with you ❤️
We just crossed over into the new year and after a prayer I played this song for my mom. I couldn't help but shed tears, then as the song ended my mom with the little strength she had in her voice said to me "now we can go to sleep...and she rested" Love you Mom.
My favorite Marley song is No woman, No cry! Bob was sent from heaven to bless the world with his anointed talent and make a timeless musical impact that transcends race, religions, politics, cultures, ethnicities, and age. He and his music connect and unite the world in one love. His children, even from different mothers, live out his amazing legacy as one family. Bob once said he's African first, then Jamaican, but he belongs to the universe. His critics are ignored by the millions of fans. Too bad his own father didn't want to get to know him.
I knew and had my life changed by a very special man, who brought Bob into my and my family's lives, and then he became family to us, my stepfather. He was special like Bob. He wanted to spread the love and make all of us one big Rasta world, not necessarily literally but just in spirit. Sharing and connecting. I understand what you mean by "sent from heaven". Conocí a Bob Marley por la radio, recuerdo que trabajaba haciendo la limpieza en una oficina y sonaba esta canción. Era un momento difícil de mi vida donde criaba sola a mis tres hijos pequeños y desde la radio Bob me decía " No woman no cry" "everything is gonna be allright". Fue un momento mágico y alentador. A true classic and music heritage! My late father, who now lives with Christ in eternity, liked this song. This beautiful song was re-recorded in Brazil by Gilberto Gil and was a huge success! Esta belíssima música foi regravada no Brasil por Gilberto Gil e fez um enorme sucesso! Ao ouvi-la, lágrimas se apresentaram. Pai, saudades!
Greetings! What matters the most is the love and appreciation you shared with him, because that stays there forever. Mr. Gil's tribute is very beautifully arranged, a touching and authentic version of this iconic piece. I particularly liked the way he performed it at the United Nations HQ :)
Marley is the kind of guy that you never met in your whole life but through his song you can feel that he spoken to you from the heart that you feel that you've known him and know his journey all his life
My Mum and Dad loved him. I love him too. He brings us hope and happiness from beyond the grave. 43 years later and he still spreads the message of joy. One of the last items i have from my Dad after he passed away is a record of exodus. An old vinyl. Just like to think that is away that my Dad wanted to let me know to be happy. Silly, yeah. But i nice thought to have. Bob Marley died 7 years before i was born, and he stayed relevant throughout my life. Long live his message ti the world.
I went to St.Thomas VI. after Bob had passed in 81' on my honeymoon. Everything was closed. I mean these people were crying in the streets. God bless each and everyone of them. Bob Marley was a saint all by himself!😢
If only words could be found to describe the beauty that lies in this song. The passion he puts into it, the meaning of the words, the traveling down memory lane, the encouragement to go on despite the difficulties of life, the capturing of losses incurred during life, the hope it inspires. There is hardly a human in this world that will listen to this song and not relate to it in some kind of way. I shall leave the rest for better tongues to tell.
Wow you left us all speechless with that comment of yours. I remember hearing this song when I was visiting my relatives in Sudan and seeing the hardships and difficulties of my people down there. Bob knew and everybody who is been will know what this song means. Thank you so much.
Me and my wife just got home from Jamaica. Our second trip. This legend is such an inspiration to his fellow people there. And to people around the world.. yea man
I was a young man when Bob Marley passed. His music became a part of who I was then, and who I would become... 40 years have passed, yet the message remains strong.
Can't live my life without bob in it he has kept me from suicide many times as nobody knows the pain i feel this song slaps like no tomorrow bob was the realest man who practiced what he preached in his music not many musicians like that these days
Lets not forget the "The Wailers" who made this masterpiece one of its kind, the guitarist was the ace on this clip and you could feel his emotions and every string he touches. Been & will ever be a loyal fan of the Honorable *ROBERT NESTA MARLEY*. Greeting from Sudan.
@@linrubyred4084 You got it! Marley always surrounded himself with great musicians. Al Anderson was another great guitarist who toured with Marley in 75, 78, 79 and 80 (he also played on two studio albums with Peter Tosh)
@@guynoir5968 As far as l know Al Anderson and Junior Marvin are still around and Bob Marley knew who to choose, who he could rely on to make the whole performance brill.

Bob Marley was something we will never experience again. Not even his sons have the energy you feel, nothing against them, but as soon as a song of his starts, I get instant chills.
Yeah no offence. His sons do good for his name but they're not him. I know he's proud of them but only Bob is Bob. I'd love to meet him or Rita because she was right there with him at the start singing and becoming stars. She's amazing too
Because he lived what he wrote! Only the greats reach those heights because of their truth! This man, Peter Tosh and Bunny lived a hard life! Rejected, Robbed, Humiliated, Used! They meant every word! You can’t get that from any silver spoon! Indeed his offspring are talented, but they are imitating, Bob was an original!

Marley is the kind of guy that you never met in your whole life but through his song you can feel that he spoken to you from the heart that you feel that you've known him and know his journey all his life
Cool and calm man
Never.
He lives and all these comments speak to that. Fact.
Mad Respect
I didn’t think anyone could put another twist on this theme but man you are 💯 % right also!!!
He has that impact on us because He is passionate, sings & speaks from his heart
Nah not silly at all!!
A beautiful Human Being who made beautiful music. Bob Marley. Missed, but never forgotten. You live on.
I went to St.Thomas VI. after Bob had passed in 81' on my honeymoon. Everything was closed. I mean these people were crying in the streets. God bless each and everyone of them. Bob Marley was a saint all by himself!😢

Bob Marley's music is Spiritual and people of all races can relate to it. Rest in Power Soul Rebel ♥️

The man has been gone but his art lives on forever. This is one of the best songs of all time!
He is still with us, truly.
Me and my wife just got home from Jamaica. Our second trip. This legend is such an inspiration to his fellow people there. And to people around the world.. yea man
Respect Bob you have a gentle soul
I saw this man in Rotterdam 1976. One of my most treasured memories. I am a 25 year woman. I am so grateful.
Man when a live song sounds even better than original studio recorded. This man was truly special... I wished I met him in life... wow!
Such a legend.. I feel so relaxed everytime I listen to his music.. 😊😊
Same here man, I’m like drunk feeling but good drunk with no alcohol
Bob is a warning from heaven
I was a young man when Bob Marley passed. His music became a part of who I was then, and who I would become... 40 years have passed, yet the message remains strong.
Can't live my life without bob in it he has kept me from suicide many times as nobody knows the pain i feel this song slaps like no tomorrow bob was the realest man who practiced what he preached in his music not many musicians like that these days
Marley is really feeling deep about this song while singing it. He's souls is gone while singing. He's in spirit
My all time favorite artist....happy birthday Bob! The whole planet is singing for you today! Rest in eternal peace. You earned it!

Not my FAV Artist of all time by a long shot...but this tune is a Classic
you are my favorite woman in the world! Absolutely beautiful!
“You earned it!” Well said @Lady Doc.
Is the guitarist Junior Marvin?
@@linrubyred4084 You got it! Marley always surrounded himself with great musicians. Al Anderson was another great guitarist who toured with Marley in 75, 78, 79 and 80 (he also played on two studio albums with Peter Tosh)
@@guynoir5968 As far as l know Al Anderson and Junior Marvin are still around and Bob Marley knew who to choose, who he could rely on to make the whole performance brill.
Hassan Cruz it’s the “I Threes”
Peter McIntosh what a character. Founding member of the Wailers
Que de souvenirs reviennent quand je revois cet homme unique et resplendissant d'humanité ! j'avais18 ans et plein de rêves ! La musique de Bob nous transportait dans un monde de paix et d'amour ! Peace and love ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
"Some people are so poor, they only have Money" ~Bob Marley

All my years.... I've never heard that! How true it can be, God Bless
Tellement vrai, une profonde vérité, Bob était philosophe et poète, j'aurai voulu l'avoir comme ami.🤝
A great artist and a really rich man. Kudos

Обожаю эту песню!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Боб Марли был потрясающим певцом, замечательным человеком. Очень жаль что он ушёл от нас так рано.
Legend. Absolutely one of a kind. Never forgotten. His lyrics will always mean truth!
An unbelievable performance. There will never be another Bob Marley. RIP.

Bob sang from his heart. His voice was raw and authentic! Even better live! Your music lives on in the hearts of many! Thanks Marley!!
The moment he sings, music just sends chills all over. This song will never die.
You right this particular song never gets old. Been listening almost 2 decades now. Still never tired of it.
