GBO2 Bull-G (TB): 550 cost walking fortress!

- This video contains two matches I had with the recently released LV1 Bull G (TB) on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 550 cost general with high durability, multiple instant stagger options, good stagger accumulation, decent melee and overall good damage in both melee and ranged engagements. Its main two weaknesses are that it has slow walk speed and no dodge roll, though it has Maneuver Armor+Damage Control to make up for this. This suit isn't groundbreaking at 550 cost, but it still has the potential to be really effective I think. It effectively plays like a higher cost Guncannon Heavy Type D, able to set up or defend allies with its multiple stun options. I regret not being able to get better games, since I definitely played sloppy in these two. But I still think I was able to show off the suit well enough, so I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a bazooka with 2300 power, 5 ammo, 5.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 1.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 80% stagger value. This is a really good bazooka, with it having shorter cooldown than usual and high damage. It is a good tool to start your stun chains with,
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2250 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 60% combo modifier and 150% downswing modifier. The high modifiers means that this hits harder than the base power suggests, about as hard as a Gundam MKIII beam saber. The downswing animation is an awkwardly narrow stab, but you should still try to go for it when possible.
Its first sub weapon is a double beam rifle with 1000x2 power, 28%x2 heat, 1 second cooldown, 13 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 400m range and 35%x2 stagger value. This fires in bursts of two, it has high stagger value and damage. This is great to combo off of your stuns for a high damage follow-up, though it is also good at breaking MA. This fires from the left arm which makes it hard to peek corners with.
Its second sub weapon is a sub-arm beam rifle with 1800 power, 80% heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 10% stagger value. This fires an instant staggering beam with modest damage. This fires from the left shoulder which makes it hard to peek corners with.
Its third sub weapon is a shoulder guided missile launcher with 900x6 power, 6 ammo, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 450m range and 35%x6 stagger value. This has very high damage and good stagger value, the missiles can be guided while mid-air as well. This comes at the cost of stopping to fire, but they can be used in a wide array of situations due to their damage.
Its fourth sub weapon is a shoulder missile launcher with 200x6 power, 6 ammo, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 10%x6 stagger value. These have a wild spread pattern, stop to fire and deal low damage. Though each missile instantly staggers, and they slow down the enemy for 5 seconds upon contact.
The LV1 Bull G has 19000 HP, 28 beam/ballistic resist and 15 melee resist. It is quite durable for its size, especially considering the buffer areas. It has low melee resistance but it can easily take up to 45 with custom parts. It has a 15% reduction buffer for the legs and 30% for the back, but it also has a special buffer for the shields which reduces damage taken by 40%. Furthermore, they resist stagger from shots/swings dealing 1500 damage or less and reduce stagger accumulation taken by 40%. This is very powerful, though the shields aren't in the best position to block incoming fire. It lacks a dodge roll, but has the combination of LV1 Maneuver Armor and Damage Control.
In terms of mobility it has 115 walk speed, 210 boost speed, 75 thrust and 66 turning speed. It has sluggish walk speed, but decent mobility apart from that. It has LV2 Forced Injectors and Flight Control to improve mobility.
Overall I feel like the Bull G will be a pretty solid option at 550 cost. It is hard to go wrong with a general that can repeatedly stagger the enemy with multiple high damage weapons. Though the poor walking speed and lack of dodge roll makes it itself an easy target for stunlocks, making it need good positioning to avoid this. You will also need to be constantly aware of if your left hand shooting options will hit a wall or not. So I think that I can class it as a potentially strong general, just one that is pretty difficult to use to the fullest. I think it could be worth rolling on if you like this sort of playstyle, but do keep in mind that a 4 star MS is likely coming on the 28th of September, so save your tokens if you would prefer that instead. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

If they're doing thunderbolt, then I'm actually hoping for the cool acguys lol. But that's like a one in a million chance of happening.
they'll have to simultaneously release like 6 separate suit variants to give the TB-acguys justice, also same reason why there isn't any kits of them atm.
@@nicoliedolpot7213 plot twist: they release the acguy whose entire job is to hold spare ammo, and it has a gimmick of making nearby friendly suits reload faster.
You got your wish buddy, three acguys of each type
9:30 Hey look, its the fabled Rainbow Gundam 😂
I thought it was just a myth
I've been seeing EWAC Jegans lately and it's concerning me.
You can blame the Conroy Jegans for that.
@@NephyrisXThey've always been common in my 550R matches.
Sir, I’m one of them
Im loving this thing so far, just the amount of dmg i can let loose is so satisfying, no dodge roll but 2 shields feel like im a FA Gundam TB on ground which is beautiful
Ground compatibility module when?
When Io isn’t this things pilot
I’m guessing it’s going to be the perfect gundam next week, god now’s what’s next
I'm waiting for this on PC looks fun.
The missiles this thing has do crazy damage, to pretty much all suits
I'm thinking we're getting the Rozen Zulu or a non-700 unit this month, like the MP Nu as a Support, perhaps.
Can't wait for the Perfect Gundam!
That would be cool I love the perfect Gundam
@@KICKING_ZEONIC_BALLZI'm sure the dude is talking about the Perfect Gundam from Thunderbolt, not the one from Plamo-Kyoshiro.
Though it would be cool to get both. PK Perfect Gundam was then retconned into UC via the first MSV, so it should be possible to get it (maybe along with Perfect Zeong).
wonder how they're gonna handle the suit's loadout considering Daryl having to yoink in-combat any kind of weapon beyond a pair of beam sabers...
I feel like they could definitely be creative. Make it a similar suit to the Psycho Zaku MKII since it is basically just that, but upgraded with Gundam parts. Single saber melee weapon, dual beam sabers melee weapon, vulcans with high DPS and stagger accumulation, good beam rifle and maybe a unique bazooka to round things out. 550 or 600 cost raid with basically the same aggressive raid playstyle as the Psycho MKII.
Do you have a playlist with the music you use in your videos? I'd love to jam along to it while I'm doing big robot stuff too.
I just rolled this on PC and its left hand shooting options actually feel like a threat to careless Perfect Gundam players lmao
Ghost tackle is real
I’ve been trying to save tokens for Silver Bullet Suppressor then this thing drops. Dammit! Lol
Love the design of Atlas and FA (TB) separately but together like this is a bit lacking. If it still had flight ability and a dodge it wouldve been probably a 600 suit.
The Bull-G is it's own thing it's based off the Guncannon II from (TB) it only has a Gundam head for marketing reasons lorewise.
Roto Doga when, BamCo? Also, shoutouts to the Messer, Messer Commander Type, Gustav Karl (UC 105), Odysseus Gundam, the Penelope, and Xi G.
I'm glad they are adding recent Thunderbolt MS. Gotta love that serie
I wonder what next week suit gonna be, maybe Perfect Gundam [TB] ? 😅 i spend too much on this Bull-G
I don't know how this opinion isnt more widespread, but I hate the Thunderbolt design philosophy of "give it a bunch of big shields on tiny twig arms that stick out really far". The arms look like they'd snap if the MS so much as spun around too quick. And sure, a big shield is a nice form of protection, but it's completely counter-intuitive if it's held away from you and at an irregular angle, since all it does then is massively increase the suit's silhouette and sometimes maybe block a shot from the side. From almost any angle, the shields are only in a position to block shots (still causing you to take damage) that would have otherwise flew straight past you.
The devs kept them the way they are to be faithful to the design, but that just serves to point out how flawed the idea of the shields is to begin with.
