  • Miniaturist Journal 42. Getting materials from an unexpected and free source is always fun. I made some cardboard boxes with kraft paper I found for free.
Miniaturist Journal is a record of my activities, experiences, thoughts and observations in vlog form, all relating to miniatures.

That is what I love about miniatures, history and technology. We learn about historical tulip vases and down loading labels for boxes all in 21 mins. Thank you Josje

You're welcome, Coby! Yes, I feel the same way, miniatures take me from crafting and creating to techniques, antiques, history, art and architecture, all in a short space of time. So interesting.

It's good to do a "quick" and easy craft project every now and again Josje , even when your mini packages prove to as meticulous and precisely detailed as everything else you do- but that is what we LOVE to see when we come here to visit you and your canal houses, because: "GOD is in the details"

Very true Elizabeth. I would like to do more of these smaller craft projects but I never seem to get around to doing them. Thank you!

Really like your blue and white vases. At first sight I would not of guessed they were flower vases, just pieces of art. Lovely.

Thank you for sharing the blue vases with us. I always learn something from watching your videos. I know it is a ways off, but I can’t wait to see what you do with the art studio. This will be a fun project to watch as it develops.

You are so welcome! I should do many more craft projects for this room. It will take me years I'm sure! 😄

The first two look to be a pair to my eyes and the most recent one seems to have richer colour and patterning to him. I would keep the pair, like you, in one room and put the last little sultan in a special place. I think snowdrops would look lovely in these!

Yes I agree. The pair was made in 2019, and the other one in 2013. That would account for the difference in colour. Snowdrops would look great! I really need to start making some flowers 😉 Thank you Anne!

Dank je wel! Je kunt het adres absoluut niet meer lezen hoor, na de 1 op 12 verkleining. 😉

Maybe you could show us how to make these parrot tulips or any kind of tulips, I have two large tiered tulips vases to fill! I’d say I need at least 20… Idske

You can never have too many tulips Idske. Those vases fill up quickly! Good idea about showing how to make them in a video! I taught a class on how to make these years ago...
