I was disappointed with Super Potato in Akihabara. There are Super Potato locations in Osaka and they're much better. I live in Kyoto so I can luckily go there within an hour.
Love this. Miss my time in Tokyo. Looking forward to seeing part 2!
Just stumbled upon your channel and I'm glad that I did. This looks like exactly what I'd like to do if I got to visit Japan. Hope you picked up that Valis 2 @ 12:31. I don't remember that one coming out in the USA. Also, love Kinsey's moon and wolf dress. Thanks for sharing your trip.
26 games as well as 3 consoles?! That's insane. Man are you a lucky guy. This trip looks awesome. Keep up the good work.
Oh men this is one of my favorite videos that you have uploaded, nice vlog and I cant wait to see more of the Metal Jesus Crew in Japan!
Looks like you all had fun Metal Jesus ! The picture of all of you in the ramen shop is a definite keeper !!
It was awesome meeting you in Osaka man, love your channel, keep it up 😊
Ship me some games lol
Awesome video thanks for sharing your trip. You rock metal Jesus!
Going for the 4th time again in November this year, I always find it hard to go home where the trains dont work, there arent convenience stores every 100yards and the vending machines are rubbish. miss them all back home.
you went to all of the game stores I visited in akihabara, man I miss Tokyo and Japan a lot! I went a month ago in april, flew ANA from Chicago O'Hare to Tokyo Haneda!
Quality muthafuckin content right here! One of the best vlogs i have seen in a while!
For the dream of getting to and enjoying Japan, I'd stay in that room in a heartbeat! You're only there to sleep, shower and some afternoon delight!! I cant wait to go (back) to Japan... Great vid.
It was sunny in Seattle, and you came to Japan when it was cloudy. I liked going to Tokyo in Dec-Jan b/c it is sunny while Seattle is cloudy at that time.
Actually we had good weather in Japan over the 11 days. Several days were in the 100 degree
I visit Japan every Year. It changed my life. Fell in love with everything.
hey what are the things you need in order to get to japan do you still have to give up your citizenship in american or have they changed that.
@@kendallkeith hi, i think you just need a passport for a holiday.
Amazing video, glad to see Metaljesus had a chance to go out to Japan and experience the retro gaming scene there. I had the chance to study abroad in Japan when I was in college, and as a game collector myself, I can only describe my experiences in Akihabara and game stores like Super Potato as sensory overload. As shown in the video, the sheer amount of merchandise for sale in these shops is just overwhelming and it's so easy to burn through all your spending money for a trip like this.
Didn’t say anything about what games you played on the flight!!!???
SOOO ESSSCITED!!!! thanks for sharing MJR! looked a lot of fun!
What a great video - love the travelogue / gaming blend.
When I went in November my case weighed 12kg, on the way home to England it weighed 27kg 😂
That's a lot of coke.
redrooster303 🤫😂
did japanese ppl react funny to the fact that you look straight up like a giant older Thor? 🤣
Dad Thor
Dhor
Or an older Jesus, perhaps metal Jesus
@@tekkenfan01 Never understood why some people think that everyone who has long hair and a beard automatically looks like jesus.
Krytern who else could he look like?
Loved being stationed in Japan. Was there from 81 - 84 in the Navy.
