What I love about re watching this now is seeing how many people gave their all for humanity not just Chief and Cortana. Miranda, Johnson, The longsword pilots hard diving into a covenant ship to open a hole. Even the pilot who warns Miranda at 14:22 while still hard gunning In Amber Clad into the slipspace hole.

I think no need for a complete remaster but... If Blur remastered the cutscenes for Halo 3 with respect to the H2 cutscenes. That be an amazing treat by itself.

At 25:25, I just noticed that only chiefs parachute fails because if how heavy he is. Neat
However it wasn't just chiefs pod. All of the ODST pods are designed like that, as the parachute thingy is an airbrake to be ejected before landing.

I think it’s really important to note that prior to @47:17, the arbiter doesn’t know for sure if his entire religion is based on a lie or not, and is still clinging to hope that he is wrong.
This scene is beyond devastating to everything he knows and his entire life. And you can hear it.

1. uploading it in 4K allow youtube to allow play the video in a higher bitrate even if you are on a 1080p monitor, you can click 4K and get better visual
2. Well every other soul who uploaded Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes put 60fps in their title........it dumb, I know. I was debating to put it in the title or not.

3.) You might want to delay Halo 4 cutscenes, though, since the Reclaimer Closing cutscene is still textureless. (Or, alternatively, you could just upload now, then re-record Reclaimer Closing once it's fixed.)

It's kinda ironic that the prophets helped the flood by releasing it and pissfarting around with the sacred journey and stuff, and all three of them ended up being infected before or shortly after they died

It was used to tie Halo 2 Anniversary to current events and frame Halo 2 Anniversary as a game relevant to Halo 5.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, in the end. It was all bait. None of the H2A Locke cutscenes make any sense in Halo 5's story and Arbiter is not all that important.

@Robert Harris no the point of the ark is to contain embryos from different species after the rings fired the first time and produce the second array of 6 halos and fire them remotely and the ark we see is the 2nd ark also called the lesser ark while the greater ark is much larger and is destroyed

No, it was a teaser for the game.
It DOES mean that they spoiled Halo 2 for anyone trying it for the first time however, with massive implications from the Arbiter being an ally along with the Elites, the both of them surviving after the game with no sign of Tartarus, the Spartan-4 program being started up after the war, etc
