I don’t understand tests like this, no average person is gonna go around poking their car til it creaks. Nothing is falling off. Shit creaks when you push it, it’s not solid concrete.
Its good to test for creaking because even if you don't go out of your way touching all the materials, you'll still hear those creaks while driving. I noticed alot of rattles when I test drove a Mercedes and went to feel the materials to confirm if it was just poor build quality; sure enough all the trim creaked when I pushed on it so I repeated the same test in an equivalent Audi and it was silent both under physical pressure and while driving. Nobody wants to pay potentially over 100 grand on a Mercedes just for it to sound like a $20k KIA. Build quality is important.
It also is good to spread awareness about this stuff. Because manufacturers will keep doing it even cheaper if nobody complains. And they will just continue to raise their prices and you just get ripped off.
