I have relatives who live in Maple Grove, MN. I stayed there the whole summer in 1998, watched their kids, who are all grown up now and moved elsewhere. They used to be in Minneapolis. Yeah math is fun, I love numbers. Not fractions or percents, just basic stuff... adding, averages, etc. Well percents are ok. I have notebooks of stats from various sports dating back to 1994 (even video game stats)! Fun to look back on. Loving the walkthrough !
Fun facts: In the Japanese NES (aka the Famicom) version of The Legend of Zelda, you can kill Pols Voices by talking or yelling into the second Japanese NES's controller's microphone.
I saw these videos quite a while ago but forgot about them until I found them again today. For some reason I haven’t subscribed to this. Now, I NEVER hit the bell because I don’t want to fill up my email at all, but I think this TH-cam channel is a worthy exception. Good job bro! Also, I quite like the sipping of the coffee and eating the chips.
22:30 Yea, play Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link. I'm curious to see how different the gameplay may be from my own experiences and if there's any new tips I could pick up. It seems as though many ZELDA fans are turned off by this game (possibly due to its difficulty) but after 30 years I still very much enjoy it! Although I would probably consider the original my favorite.
I remember playing Zelda at my cousin house when I was 17,he was in a dungeon trying to figure out what to do,he blew on the whistle and with the sound of the tune the whistle makes he said ( will you open the door ) lol
For some reason I remember defeating dungeon 4 with the magical sword after obtaining the ladder and far east heart container on the platform in the water. I say this because I recall defeating Vires in dungeon 4 with only one hit without it splitting into Keeses (pieces haha)...but I could be mistaken.
I find it interesting how the red items (candle, potion) are stronger than their blue counterparts, but the blue enemies are stronger than their red versions.
So far today I ate some kind of "chuleta de sajonia" thing. (I live in a university residence in Spain as part of my job & they provide us with free - not always good - food haha). It was just a hunk of meat. But later I'm going out for kebab with my friend and I wish kebab were more popular in the US! So good!
I believe you actually only need 12 heart containers to get the magic sword. I've seen you do a couple playthroughs where you say you think it's 13, but it's actually only 12. Could get it before entering dungeon 5, and it would make that dungeon easier since it has some enemies that take several hits with the white sword.
Hey, just ran into this series (and channel) randomly. I'm guessing it was suggested due to my regular watching of the Hylian Gamescast on GameOver Jesse's channel (and being the biggest Zelda fan you'll ever meet, lol). So I'm about a year out from you making this, but just FYI, regarding the recorder/whistle: I'm not sure exactly how it works when you're on other random screens, except that it warps you to a possibly random dungeon you've completed. But I know that if you blow it while on a screen with a dungeon, if you face up or right, it will transport you to the next (by number) dungeon you've completed, and if you face down or left, it will warp to the previous one you've completed. It wraps around if you are at the highest or lowest dungeon of course. I won't mention the fact that you only needed 12 hearts to get the magic sword, as I see other people have noted that, lol. Anyway, great video! I've been playing BotW in Master Mode on my channel, but I might just have to do some retro Zelda soon. :-D P.S. Watching your next one - you explained the recorder, so never mind! ;-)
4:50 you can skip this guy and just bomb the wall to the right. You need 12 heart containers for the magic sword. You should have bought your bomb upgrade in level 5
Frank Matthews It’s the ARROW that kills the Pols Voices; the flute/recorder/whistle/whatever you wanna call it, shrinks Digdogger so you can damage it with your sword. The flute/etc. also drains the pond one screen west of the western fairy to reveal the level 7 entrance.
I find hilarious all the ppl complaining about the coffee slurping. Leaves me wondering how they keep their cool when something so insignificant gets to them 😂
Anytime I watch Zelda gameplay...I can't help but rage at the fact that everyone REFUSES to use the boomerang or bombs. Bombs kill the Blue Darknaughts and everything else. Why are you hoarding bombs??? Do you need 8...to NEVER use them? The boomerang freezes most enemies. AND the damn candle kills things too. Why are you shooting it to the side? You make this harder than it needs to be.

8:56 - good thing you bought the bridge
I like the catch on getting to Dungeon 5
Not really a fan of the sips-o-coffee, but aside fro that, these videos are fun to watch and enjoy.
This series is not made for entertainment or at least not in mind
For level 5’s boss, set a bomb and then immediately use the recorder, works pretty nicely
"Friendliest place on TH-cam"?
I could go for that. Subscribed
Nice job on that level 4 boss
I was gonna mention the "do 7 and part of 8 before 6" trick, but you've got that covered.

Try using the arrows to kill the Vires without splitting them into keyes.

Only takes 12 to get magic sword from the graveyard
Dude, you're totally right. I missed that.
@@peterplaysbass will there be a guide on how to get there?
I struggle with other guides, you are the only one I can get behing
Yep, he should have had the magical sword already
Love your channel guys
You have to have 12 Heart Containers in order to get the Magic Sword
Breath of the Wild breaks so many conventions, but keeps so many as well, e.g. nostalgia trip of having 13 hearts to get the best sword of the game
Jehan Mohamed true for Breath Of The Wild, but for The Legend Of Zelda you need 12
