Crowd is damn noisy!!!!! My Gawd, so distracting ~

For me its so regular that without these cheeers in any wushu video looks boring...
Ok
Physically these boys are not much different from the girls.
these are ballets, not martial arts. this is dancing. you will be beaten if you use this kind dancing when you meet robber.
You don't know the self defense of these movements. look up Michael Page if you want to see it in action.
DonaldBen Ellis no, all chinese know the Routine Performance just for dancing, looks nice, and can not fight. The real fight kung fu also have the Routine Performance, but looks very ugly. Good looking dancing Routine Performance never can beat enemy. Chinese government want to control people, so they forbid the violent things. So government push the kung fu to be dancing or to be healthy sports, or to be elder setting-up exercise
Where you see flailing arms I see eye pokes and throat grabs. Where you see them slap the ground I know it is practice in pulling someone to the ground. Wushu has added extra flashy acrobatics, but the ruthless techniques are there too.
Donnie Yen, Jetli... both are wushu players too. It doesn't matter which martial arts you practice (whether its wushu, karate, taekwando, boxing etc..) the important thing is how you use it when you are in real fight. Wing Chun which is now very famous nowadays after IP Man movies is also looks very soft and slow when you watch its routines (katas, taolu) but the real results are proven worldwide.
So whichever martial arts you practice the important is how you use it. Presence of mind, action and reaction are important. Its not always you need to fight... look the situation and react accordingly.
if you came here just to say this, you might as well stfu.
