Many details of the exterior are a salute to winning vehicles from the company's motor racing history: The aerodynamically capped rims echo those of the 935/78, with the LED rear lights on the rear wing endplates adopted from the 919 Hybrid LMP1 race car. The side mirrors hail from the current Le Mans-winning 911 RSR, with the exposed titanium tailpipes modelled on the Porsche 908 from 1968.
These references are carried through to the cockpit. The knob on the gearshift lever has a laminated wood design and is reminiscent of racers such as the 917, the 909 Bergspyder and the Carrera GT super sports car.[/quote]

Are you going to the F1 GP? Best corners from spectator locations are Raidillon, Les combes, Malmedy, Bruxelles, Double left, Fagnes and busstop chichane for overtakes.

Although there is not a single serie for the Porsche 935, the performance of this car is roughly equivalent to the GT500 in Japanese SuperGT series. Currently, GT500 has Nissan GT-R (R35), Lexus LC 500, and Honda NSX. They are tube-frame silhouette racing cars similar to those seen in DTM but with 700 bhp turbo charged engine.
@@bolowong7430 No its not. gT500 is waaaay faster. This 935 is just a variant of the 911 GT2 that's gonna be in the SRO's "new GT2" that is a step below GT3. They have more power than GT3 but less downforce so they are aimed at gentleman drivers

During the race commentators said the livery of the car is based on a fictional livery with the number 69 on a Porsche slot car made by Carrera. Carrera acts as the sponsor, the driver Steffen Görig is the new owner of Carrera. No idea why the car didn't have the starting number 69 for this race weekend.

9s slower than the GT3 cars at Spa.
Slower in the corners, but much faster on the straights.
I can't find the official qualifying results, but I can calculate a laptime of 2m28s for the Mentos 935 from my photos.
